I can’t believe you are still having to explain yourself at this point but you do explain yourself well. Always love seeing the other fish and any turtles. 💚💚

Good work. We have a similar situation here in the Pacific Northwest. Our rivers are loaded with Smallmouth Bass. They are decimating the salmon runs by devouring the juvenile salmon as they migrate out to the ocean from their freshwater natal streams. It's serious problem. We've actually had several species of native fish go extinct as a result. Situation here, do they say, is that they were brought to Oregon and kept in a private pond. We had a rain filled flood event and they escaped. Then avid fishermen began transporting them to other rivers in the region. They are a great sport fish and good eating. I really appreciate your effort. All the best. Informative and awesome habitat visuals. Thanks for caring.

im guessing that the lone thumbs down on this video came from that one lionfish that got away

Clarification. You are not "simply" killing them, you are harvesting them. And educating us along the way.

He has made me interested in wanting to try Lion fish. I live in California and I don't know what restaurant has them or if there are any. I live in the South Bay.

Great video and all of your information is good. May I add that while most likely there were Lionfish released by owners, the bulk of the invasion was caused by balist water in cargo ships. They are all the way from The Carolinas through Florida, Bahamas,Caribbean, Central America and South America in The Atlantic. I live in Little Torch Key Fl. and live eating them. Best sushi!

Your narration makes all the difference! I’ve watched a couple of other videos of people doing the same work, but with a music background. I don’t subscribe nor do I watch any more of their videos. I enjoy listening to your explanations and stories while also experiencing the flora and fauna. Thanks for posting.

I love your videos. I get to see the beautiful ocean life, learn some new things, and support an organization that is doing good.
I most likely won’t have the opportunity to go scuba diving, but I still get to see footage of others diving!

I love watching your videos. Unfortunately, this ecological catastrophe was brought on by people who believed that they were doing an act of kindness or mercy, but here we are. The mess still has to be cleaned up, one fish at a time.
Wildlife in the Florida Everglades are being decimated by Burmese pythons. Similar situations. Pythons are not a familiar prey item, nor are they familiar predators. Every year, they have contests to promote the hunting and removal of these snakes.
Keep up the good work! Thank you for all that y'all are doing to help our oceans and their inhabitants.

I think what you’re doing is amazing. Taking away a predator away from the ocean is just the best thing you can do for the ocean
    Bravo 👏

It's important to note that this would only apply to invasive predators. He clearly stated that if he were in the water where these fish are actually from, he wouldnt kill any because they are a part of that food chain and have predators that keep their numbers in check.... unlike where he is in this video.
