Bortuo only has more potential because of his karma seal and jougan which its still unclear how he has the jougan, which is likely the eye above all eyes and well the karma literally turns him into a god so yeah. but base boruto doesnt have anywhere near the same potential as ninja jesus naruto who had the strongest tailed beast and insane lineage which gave him great amounts of chakra, boruto has so little chakra in comparison that he is told he will never be able to create a large rasengan and its hinted he wouldnt even be able to match naturos base rasengan. he does have more intelligence and skill tho but besides that he lacks in raw power if we dont count the karma and jougan but both were no inherited or obtained at birth.

If you read the novel it is stated there are people who have parents which wield fullbring and the children inheriting fullbring powers themselves which surpass the parents. Both of kazuis parents are powerful fullbringers. Kazui is a 2nd generation fullbringer he is able to manifest his powers in human form like a quincy. His powers are wrapped out his body. His fullbring abilities are more powerful and more easier for him to use and access than his parents when they use their fullbring powers.
Not totally completed related, but I wonder if a human and a soul reaper fall in love (like Ichigo's parents), one of them will have to choose either to leave SS or the human world cause of their differing lifespans. It would be interesting if we get a sequel and get to see that conundrum.

I think ichika was a fast learner because she was born full blood shinigami but kazui is definitely a prodigy of his many blood line ties.
