Pound for pound, the Wynguard Footman is the most powerful heavy infantry unit, aside from the Gilded Man-at-Arms, with the second highest hit points and damage. Over a standard Man-at-Arms, they have +100 hit points and +6 attack. They also boast an attack bonus against cavalry. While they have 2 less melee armor, this is offset by the +2 from Armor Clad, granting them the same armor as a generic Man-at-Arms, though less than an English one.

You know keeping your king has aoe heal for all units when out of combat, so more healing for less pop capacity plus aoe heal at the landmark as well
