Mr. Winfrey was an amazing man. He will be greatly missed! Colleague,, friend and mentor. South Carolina and Georgia.

did Oprah always know him ? like was she raised by him or was it like they came together after she grew up?
She was sent to live with him at 13 or 14 when she was a wayward teen in Milwaukee. He raised her in Tenessee and straighten her out as he was strict
@@rosean374 thank you for answering my questions...I just hadn't ever heard about her father before . I knew she got pregnant early , did she give it up for adoption? but it looks like had she put it up 4 adoption once she was famous looks like that kid would find her. ..
@@heatherking8689 She had a still born. Most likely it was suspected due to lack of prenatal care as she was shunned by her mum after being impregnated by a relative sadly, It was decided thus to give her a new start in life with her dad.
ps. She has openly talked about all this in her shows and interviews.
@@heatherking8689 Mr. Winfrey use to cut my hair back in the 90s. Oprah always talk about her father in a lot of her speeches. She credit him for her life.

I never knew any of Oprahs story or anything but I've started watching videos about him and I tell ya , he was a very loved by his community and a hard worker and I hate I'm just now learning about his story and life..Like one can only hope they do enough good in his life for his fellow man that he is beloved as much as he was.
