100% James - I was well impressed. To be honest the quality of the racing, if not some of the driving 😂 was great throughout. I never felt at risk of a lunge or being punted. Great to see.
Great sportsmanship from him. Look forward to more ACC. I hope I can keep my eyes off the windscreen wiper and how it moves though! Something I never really noticed whilst playing.
Cheers Steve - yeah one of those things for sure, and big credit to Jonas for slowing…not used to seeing that outside of SCB races! Looking forward to doing more on LFM!
Need to check it out. Totally avoided online for ACC as was just insane mostly but I do like the sim. Better than iRacing for GT3 and maybe GT4 except no reasonable VR. :(
nice bit of info, thank you. I've signed up but yet to get my license.... finally getting my head around ACC and now starting to really enjoy it so hopefully get my license this weekend. Will we have a SCB Team to setup in the LFM account page?...hope to see you trackside soon
2.03 is pretty good for the safe set up. I did my first race with LFM this week and It's a great alternative to iRacing if you're into GT3 & GT4 racing
Ah cheers man - as you might have seen I’m a noob when it comes to ACC and still finding my way around! Absolutely agree re LFM so far - looking forward to Zandvoort this week.
@@Ben_LaBroca Zandvoort is great, and I did kyalami last night and that was a super clean race (for me anyway) and with the splits it's very evenly matched
Not sure if you know this by now, but one of the reasons why you were struggling with traction were your tire pressures. During the majority of the race your pressures were too low and ACC is quite sesnitive when it comes to that. You want to be between 27.2 and 27.8 PSI for the GT3s with dry tires. Overall your pace wasn't actually bad mate
Ha thanks buddy - I have indeed been on a learning curve with ACC! Had no idea at this point what good pressures were, and was running the safe setup I think. Cheers for stopping by fella!
@@Ben_LaBroca I'm gonna have to go on a learning curve as well again, once I start racing again. Need to get my hands on a GPU and a new wheel first though. Well, this is going to be a painfully expensive month. Anyways, for this game I'd never recommend running the safe setup - especially not when you're already a simracer.
good video, sad to see you struggling. It might be worth to try out some other cars as the aston was definetly one of the quickest with last seasons BOP but i am not so sure about that this season !
Good race Ben, love your video's, but I believe it was just a racing accident it was a error on both of you two. His car had a little tail snap while he was 3/4 along side you, but you should have gave a little bit more room and not try to get back on the racing line when you go too wide in a turn.
Yeah I tend to agree Terry - I think there was room, but could have given him half a metre more to be safe. I do suspect he’d have hit me anyway, but I might have survived it! And thanks for the feedback buddy, appreciate it!
Well just wanted to put my two cents in here. I've been trying to get on this league for 2 days now. You have to do seven laps of 1:49.256. or less consecutively. Sure seems easy right my average lap is 1:47.657. and if you would get a and let's say you made it six laps and you get a one minute and 48 flat well you have to start over I just spent 2 hours doing this I average between 1 minute and 47 seconds and 1 minute and 48 seconds but if you go a half a second off you're seven laps start over kind of a joke.
Hey Richard buddy - that sounds weird! If I’m understanding you correctly it might be a glitch. Perhaps worth reaching out to LFM on Twitter or discord? It should be the average lap time across the 7 laps, so I can’t see a reason why it would be restarting your stint.
I dont get if you are withing 107% and the laps are valid they should count right ? I completed the test yesterday and i just cruised for 7 laps at Hungaroring at a simular pace like you and it counted fine for me.
Ha thanks buddy, and no you're not the only one! It was an attempt early on to bring people along on the ride with me, but to be honest now I don't even realise I'm doing it! When I am conscious of it I try to switch to first person, but can't promise I'll be able to phase it out entirely!!
Hey Richard - Head to low fuel motorsport’s website and there’s instructions to get your rookie licence. Then it’s just a case of registering for races and finding the servers on ACC. Let me know how you get on!
The best GT Sim out there and something like iRacing system, such a good match!
Hey buddy - 100% right!! Looking forward to trying to get up to speed in it over next few weeks, then hit season 5 proper!
Well done J Salm. Great sportsmanship.

I noticed it earlier during a practice session on Monza... proceeded to absolutely ruin 3 laps in a row
cant believe i only heard about this yesterday. already had 3 epic races today
It's fantastic isn't it? I need to get back on LFM soon!
Good race Ben, unfortunate but one of those things I guess. It's great to see videos being made in LFM now, it really is a top notch place to race!

nice vid Ben, my first LFM race was a non starter so I lost 62 ELO, then my next race was a total disaster!
Ah no mate! That’s a big shame! The standard is fairly frighteningly good it seems! Hopefully third time lucky!

J.Salm you are a hero and a gent
100% Ed - fair play to him. Love to see that. Nothing malicious in the move but takes a top man to hand the place back anyway.

Is LFM for PC players only? I couldn’t find any info about Xbox on the LFM website.
Unfortunately I believe it is for now Matthew - I know they’re still very early in development of the platform so maybe they will expand one day?
@@Ben_LaBroca yeah, I hope so. It’s somewhat difficult to find good online racing on Xbox.

noone mentions u need at least 70sa to even go for the licence....
Very good point Patrik - I’ll flag that in the next race vid I do on LFM!
Drive safe and it's not a problem. My problem is my speed, but i got the licens 😀
Need to tune your tyre pressures before the race, the cars in ACC drive like pigs if the tyres are underinflated.
Learn to adjust your tire pressures, fastest time gain.
