This year I chose to learn Javascript and React. Javascript has so much quirks, and also tons of framework and library waiting to be learned can occupied you for a really long time. Choose what to learn wisely because you might stuck with it for a long time to master it.
I guess this depends a lot on what job you are looking for. I have been googling "Software Engineer jobs" and "Backend programming" and the most commonly listed languages I see are C#, Java, and Node. I do see a bit of golang and python sprinkled in there, too.
i would recommend 100 days of python (also in UDEMY). i really liked its approach to learn with small projects that are planned to be finnished in just over an hour at most two
I am so glad and happy that you brought Swift!! As a newbie who started learning swift few months ago, it gets me really excited!! Thanks so much for this video!! 🎉🎉
I love this video, i come back to the tech world this year, after being a Photographer for around 6 years and i love the quality content that you make! keep the good work ♥ Best wishes from Argentina.
Very well-researched and fine-made video. And also, you have a good presentation style. Love your content ! I have watched every single one of your videos and learned a lot. Expecting more from you...
Love your content i recently decided I want to follow coding and found you along the way and love every piece of content you put out thank you so much 🤞🏽
I would say Python just because of the following of AI & Data Science & Cisco/juniper network automation & Cloud infrastructure as code. Remember for anyone that if they know Python they must also know the domain of what they’re programming rather than just Python. I’ll check up in this video when I have time!! I know it will be good
Little fact... it was Sun MicroSystems that pushed to rename Mocha (ie:JavaScript) to JavaScript, after Netscape began collaborating with Sun, before JavaScript was acquired by Sun, after the Sun-Netscape alliance ended. Sun had already developed the Java language and wanted to emphasize their suite of languages using similar names. It was branded as the Sun Java System.
horrifying fact... designing JS took Brendan Eich like 2 weeks only... since then all new releases of JS must be backward compatible with all his not well thought decisions taken out of rush.
Hey Tiff, thanks so much for value information and links as well, you definitely encourage anyone willing to start learning programming , greetings from Peru ;)
OMG! Your Python course recommendation is the exact course I took!! So cool that you took the same course. Udemy is awesome! I love that elephant picture in the background btw (elephant in the room? Lol!) What courses are you taking now?
fun fact about udemy is if you wait till their courses are on sale which you never have to wait long they will reduce them from $99 to just $9.99 in some cases.
Hi Tiff, I Subscribed you , & Thanks alot for sharing a pretty good info... in a amazing style. I would like your way of presentation. I'm so glad to your expression 😊🤘🏻
C++ is great, rust is great python is good for starting out and coming back to later. Do take the longer courses it means you will have more experience, also Learn how to learn. It doesn’t matter how smart you are right now. You can learn to learn faster
Awesome video! I'd highly reccomend Tim's courses, he never disappoints. All his courses are presented really well, and he definitely puts a ton of work and thought into his courses.
I've already enrolled to the js and C++ courses, so I'm kind of happy that you suggest these courses. Also if you wont mind I've a question after a while I will start learning the back end side of web development which language do you suggest, like alot of people says continue with node js however others says that C# will be better in terms of it's capability in making faster desktop app or games besides back end or you may go with python.......etc So what should I pick ?
for me Javascriot and react , maybe i should say MERN Stack is what i need to focus on in this coming years..we can learn other langueages if we currious about it, but learn 1 programing language deeply is what i turely believe in...
Ha, wow. I kind of expected JS to be #1 or #2, but I defer to the actual expert. I'm still learning to code myself, but I will absolutely say, from a student perspective, Python is an amazing place to start. I have Dr. Yu's Python course and her Complete Web Dev boot camp, and *love* her teaching style Edit to add: YES, if you want to learn a language like Go, please do! There WILL be a job out there (Sweetwater Sound uses Golang for their backend, just off the top of my head).
Hey Tiff, heads up; your course lists links are not working. Trying to buy a course through your afiliate link, but I can´t open the link..Can you check this out or send me your link? I want to buy the The Complete 2022 Web Development Bootcamp by Dr. Angela Wu...Thanks! Cheers...
For me, the only language of any interest is C++. Swift is a solution looking for a question - unless that question is "how can Apple lock in more patsies?" The others are interpreted, and therefore achingly slow and limited.
you mention Udemy but I am a bit sceptical as I paid for a Udemy course on coding and the tutor was using Atom and half way through changed to another developer tool and didn't tell anyone, I was so confused even when I started the course from the beginning again. i am frightened this will happen again and I end up not learning anything and wasting more money. But on the the plus side your video was very good thank you
Hi Tif, you started off as a QAEngineer? What tools did you learn and what was your process for landing this type of job? I would greatly appreciate some insight, thanks Tif.
Nexy year Imma study software engineering, I've had like 3 months of practice with jave 2 years ago, but I would like to focus on C++, my theory is that it's gonna help me learn other languages faster in the future, is that true?
3rd time I am trying to learn JS but I don't understand really 😕 🙃 😪 I jump to learn ReactJS, really. I am learning Python too it's the 3rd time... What's going on with me?
I am a 3d Artist and I am trying to learn python for use in maya and houdini tools. I really want to see more programming courses that you can learn through playing games. Any suggestions?
Angela Yu Swift course is very much outdated. If you actually look up the reviews...they are mostly negative in the last time. If i remember it correctly...the last 2 years...no updates...the tech versions are really outdated
1. Python.
2. Java.
3. JavaScript.
4. Swift.
5. C++
Learn Java + C#, enterprise job market will love you, then Python on top of it, you are set for life
Pretty much.
Swift??
This year I chose to learn Javascript and React. Javascript has so much quirks, and also tons of framework and library waiting to be learned can occupied you for a really long time. Choose what to learn wisely because you might stuck with it for a long time to master it.
Me too ended up with JS but started with Python

Tiff, I have been following your for a long while. Wow, what you have become is so amazing. I love your style of presentation and your content.
Thank you so much! That means a lot!

Well done Steffany. Briliat ideas. Impressed with your video quality. Please what type of light do you use and how do you soften it?
Thank you for sharing about those all programming languages tiffany. Useful video. 😊👍
Glad it was helpful!
Love your content i recently decided I want to follow coding and found you along the way and love every piece of content you put out thank you so much 🤞🏽
Great tiff! Thanks for the awesome vídeo! Will be purchasing some of the recommended courses...cheers!
Awesome! Happy to hear you enjoyed it! Happy Friday!!
Thank you for your advice, Tiff. I needed some guidance,.
I have had this question for a while. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I know nothing about programming, but your beauty is stunning.
Thanks for sharing 🙏🙏 love your videos ❤️
You are so welcome That means alot!
Thanks for your time putting this info. together...opening my eyes to a whole new world. Appreciate it..
My pleasure!
@tiffintech-og5cs Back to you Tiff.. I'm out of medical, now computer hardware issues are ruining progress. AFN

What do you mean by the domain of what one programs? I just decided to learn how to code. Trying to figure out which language would be best firstly.
I myself right now I'm watching your RUclips channel videos
Thanks A lots for your nice explanation
Great video i see 3 of my favorite languages made your list
The editing is well done. Nice work

or find them leaked on the internet
Is it life time access ?
@@vajidalishah3595 Yes. If you put your browser in private/incognito mode they usually always appear on the sale then also.
As a udemy course my self I can confirm this is true
@@zltg.mn0ng99 we all know this. This is how udemy works. No one buys 100+ USD courses from udemy.
Again another very useful & informative video from you. Truly good.
im glad you mentioned a course by Angela yu!! she's really amazing ^_^
right!? She really is!
Really you describe very greatly.

C# and Typescript!
Great informative video Tiff ❤
Glad it was helpful!
The editing on this is 🔥🔥🔥
I am a front-end developer and I want to learn back-end development. In this case, do you recommend javascript or c#?
2:30 - 2:50
you are right to mention that. now that learning platforms expanded people need help with choosing as well.
Awesome video!
I'd highly reccomend Tim's courses, he never disappoints.

So what should I pick ?
Doesn't matter as long as you pick one and stop switching languages all the time!
What about Ada? Many big companies are switching to Ada n0w.
for me Javascriot and react , maybe i should say MERN Stack is what i need to focus on in this coming years..we can learn other langueages if we currious about it, but learn 1 programing language deeply is what i turely believe in...
I'm Japanese and in Japan PHP is very popular. So it's very interesting not to ranked in this video 😮
helpful video!! you always guide like big elder sister guiding to a younger little brother
I find it odd that PHP never makes the top 5 when it's what's used in WordPress development which is what makes up a third of the entire internet.
Ha, wow. I kind of expected JS to be #1 or #2, but I defer to the actual expert. I'm still learning to code myself, but I will absolutely say, from a student perspective, Python is an amazing place to start.

There is almost no job for
python developers in Germany.. in Germany companies still use PHP, mostly Java & C#
Interesting! Yup Every location is different!
Could you tell me more about the state of software engineering/development in Germany?
As a Swift Developer here in Canada ,Swift has very clean syntax and design right now .
Thanks for sharing! Swift is great! Also that is awesome you are in Canada too!
For me, the only language of any interest is C++. Swift is a solution looking for a question - unless that question is "how can Apple lock in more patsies?" The others are interpreted, and therefore achingly slow and limited.
Awesome! Whatever works best for you!
But about C#? It is mature and complete !
True.
LOL I owned all the courses you mention, do you believe PHP still good to learn? Im relearning as I stop learning it couple years ago
Are golang for threaded services or Julia for mathematical programming like machine learning growing much?
What do you think about R? Especially now that RStudio has changed to Posit. Thank you for this great video!
you mention Udemy but I am a bit sceptical as I paid for a Udemy course on coding and the tutor was using Atom and half way through changed to another developer tool and didn't tell anyone, I was so confused even when I started the course from the beginning again.

Thanks for this info👍🏼😍
May I know how many days is the Python bootcamp course in Udemy ?
Love this video!!!
Big tip for Udemy! They have sales VERY often. I've seen the Python Zero to Hero course like 80% off
It's $18 USD for the Black Friday sale!
the intro was wow
1st Python
2nd Java
3rd JavaScript
4th Swift
5th C++
@tiff in tech :)
C++
Swift
Javascript
Java
Python
building blackjack, so so exciting!
Nexy year Imma study software engineering, I've had like 3 months of practice with jave 2 years ago, but I would like to focus on C++, my theory is that it's gonna help me learn other languages faster in the future, is that true?
yes c++ is a beast. you can easily catch deers boars etc riding on c++
I don't know why, but they all (the programming languages) look almost the same to me. It's so confusing ...
How do you make the background in the intro! So fascinating!
thank you!! I have an amazing editor!!
I would say Rust over C++
Excellent.
Me learning Kotlin and wondering why Java is still a thing, even more wondering how Swift made the list but Kotlin didn't 🤷♂
Hahahahaha. Seriously though, tools in a toolbox. The right tool for the job. Keep on keepin' on
Kotlin is good. Don't worry.
Books on all these languages... where is a good retail store in Toronto that will have both beginners but advanced books as well?
What do you think of the book python crash course by Eric matthes as a free starting point in learning python?
3rd time I am trying to learn JS but I don't understand really 😕 🙃 😪 I jump to learn ReactJS, really. I am learning Python too it's the 3rd time... What's going on with me?
What language I need to learn that can help me to make AI based app?
I am a 3d Artist and I am trying to learn python for use in maya and houdini tools. I really want to see more programming courses that you can learn through playing games. Any suggestions?
@tiff in tech What does this mean? A bit cryptic. Is this a bot?
Do I need know knowledge in machine learning if I am web developer?
Tiff, can you make your own programming language with c programing or c++? I want to make my own programming language can I make it in c++???
yes
0:26 #3: Saw a beauty and decided to click on the video
C# and unity? Is it good for career?
c++ and unreal would be better
Hey Tiff What about dr.angela’s 100 days of code:The Complete Python Pro Bootcamp for 2023 on udemy? I just bought it now
It’s is awesome too!!
lol you didn't include c# even though that is a much bigger market that ios swift crap
Angela Yu Swift course is very much outdated.
If you actually look up the reviews...they are mostly negative in the last time.
If i remember it correctly...the last 2 years...no updates...the tech versions are really outdated
I would have expected Solidity to be on the list but then again it is very similar to JS.
YES, Jonas JS course is the best!!. I finished the whole thing and I feel super strong in terms of JS knowledge.
Most demanded languages in Canada
I don’t
See java on there ..that’s a vast and imperative language to learn
The link to the other udemy courses is broken.Thank you for the content.
Me who codes in JavaScript and C# looking for where C# ranks lol😭😭😭
Don't worry. C# is like Java, but better.
Lern php and laravel
What about Google's Go?
Where is the most love language ?? RUST
loved. but not in top 5!
Blonde girl talking about hard stuff
What about Rust, it seems to me a language for the future.
Tiff, where are the c#?
New Vlog by Dasha Taran on YT
