When I went to Mean Pastries, I found one box of Fancy Lad Snack Cakes behind the counter, I took it as a sign that the owners had been passing off pre-packaged goods as freshly made pastries.

I think the skeleton is actually one of a child that climbed into the dryer while there mother/father was doing the laundry. The washer/dryer is rather small after all. So, the child climbed in. The parents heard the bombs and went to find their child but couldn't find them as they were in the washer/dryer which might have been turned on. Sad really.
People love to rag on Fallout 4, but nobody ever takes the time to enjoy the subtle details. I hope the next Fallout has even better graphics and allows us to explore Pre-War a bit longer than the exact moment the bombs drop.
Sure its there but stil for most its (ocean?) of content but dept of a mud puddle. Those things are a Nice extra but boring afther u know them. Quest and rpg gives more replay. But modded its fun though 🙂

[The Wonderful Adventures of Preston Garvey] SEASON 3 Quick Recap: The Minutemen at the Castle received the transmission from the rescue team, that’s leaving the Glowing Sea, with an army chasing them. Episode Ten: Run [Castle] General: They’re on their way back, so would that attract the army? I’m just wondering if they’re hiding while running. Minuteman: Knowing Captain Miles, he has a good plan sir. General: I hope he does. We don’t need another foreign enemy invading us again. Contact the Brotherhood and Railroad. Tell them about the intruders, and to keep watch on them and make sure they don’t settle down for too long. Minuteman: Sir! The enemy army is here! General: Already?! Minuteman: Fire the artillery! (But rolling on wheels is the enemy’s own artillery weapon. They fire it, dealing a great deal of damage to the Castle walls) Gannon: Run! Everyone! Get out of here! We are no match for them! General: What is this? Preston: General. We have to go now, if we stay here, it will be a slaughter, there’s like a thousand of them right here. They split into three. General: Fine, you’re right. Alright everyone, let’s go! John Dee: the Rising Sun thats who they are- (he is grabbed by the arm by a Minuteman, and they all began to retreat from the Castle. Some went into the beach, some were making their way to the Airport, and others stayed to fight) (End) Wow, thanks for tuning in everyone. Leave recommendations too. Have a good day :)
You forgot one pretty nice place!! At 6:18, exactly in front of you is a huge hole in the wall and if you jump on the roof in front of you, you can get over there. In the room you'll find some furniture and one locked door with a little nice surprise behind it!!
I just found a new unmarked location yesterday that I've never seen mentioned in any youtube videos. Hoping you make a part 3 soon and publish here. My finding is between Coastal Cottage and the Mahkra Fishpacking facility. Under the bridge that connects these two locations there is a door named HIdeout or something. Anyway keep up the great work Oxhorn
When Oxhorn (our lore lord) said there was sweet rolls in the bakery i was waiting for a white run guard from skyrim to appear and start the sweet roll dialogue
I find that I have visited almost every one of those highlighted in parts 1 and 2. Lore doesn't pop into my head so I love watching Ox explain it all to me. I did miss the Ladies Auxiliary. This playthru I am only lvl 20 so I don't have a jet pack. But I watched his 2 unmarked locations videos on my PC and at the same time visited them all again while playing FO4 on my Xbox One. Two major differences besides the lack of lore on my part. I didn't run thru the locations in power armor, I had a mixture of metal armor and combat armor and my weapons were a sniper rifle and a 10mm pistol.
from the rainder's drug den roof you can go to the next hause roof and from there to a hole in the wall in the next house i think there is a green steamer trunk inside behind a lock door or maybe a crepy manequin scene or both if I remember correctly. You can see the hole I'm refering to in 6:18
and right in front of the construction site there is a chemical lab (at least I think that was the name) nothing special there a construction protectron and maybe a super mutant on the roof setting on a concret block (he maybe have join the fight and you kill it thinking was one of the construction site super mutants) and I think there is a skeleton loving sceen somewhere on the roof but I could be mistaking on this one
I actually got sent to the unmarked Drug Den as a side quest from the SRB. There was an older model synth held "captive" by the raiders, never even noticed they were drugging up.
Cats are never truly domesticated, they live with us because they want to, so killing a guest is poor form. Also there are tons of things they do that people don't think about, so killing a potential ally is also poor form.
I love the little stories in unmarked locations, so this miniseries is a treat. If you're ever up for going back to Lexington -- remember, Preston mentioned the Quincy survivors tried to settle there, but were driven off by ghouls. Lexington has (iirc) a full set of crafting stations, scattered and hidden amongst the buildings. But the settlers' work is now being taken advantage of by raiders who appear to be using the ghouls on the ground as camouflage. Each separate building has its own complement of raiders, including one strong raider at the top of one of the taller buildings who's wearing power armor and has a modest but grisly collection of severed heads (including in the bedroom). If a player has a jetpack and doesn't mind the occasional respawning of raiders Lexington could make for an interesting player home. I have a couple of other beloved unmarked locations in mind but will watch the next video first to see if you covered them :3
6:32 that raider got ash-ified in midair. Cool! Also what is your favorite companion? Love your vids. I used to watch them before I got fallout. Finally I bought fallout. Thanks to you I got my favorite game!
12:04 I think that's a reference to steelheart, a book. In the prologue "Death point" robs a bank, shoots people, turns them to ash, steelheart pops in later, angry asking death point to join hum, refuses and Have a huge fight with explosions, the greatest explosion comes when Davids dad shoots steelheart, he bleeds and gets angry and kills everyone there, the vault is what makes me think this
Another theory for the dryer scene is that the drinker was in an argument with the victim and things got heated up. When the victim is killed, the drinker panicked amd quickly stuffed the body into a dryer to hide it. When the bombs dropped he felt regret. He started to drink waiting for death
Hey Oxhorn, have you discovered the area NE of Somerville Place that has the Raider painting a big statue? It's in between Somerville Place and Cutler Bend.
Mean Pastry is probably based off of Mike’s Pastry, which was founded in 1946 in the North End of Boston. They’re most famously known for their amazing cannolis. I’ve had one myself, and I can say for sure that the amazing food there makes the shop a tourist attraction.
I know this comment is late (by 3yrs lol)so I don't expect you to respond Ox, but I've watched you for a few years now, and I just wanted to say I love your attention to every detail in the fallout games not just 4, you notice every little thing, every story untold, and you bring it to light and I appreciate it
Another great episode! I wish I would have paid more attention during my multiple playthroughs. So many details I've missed and it makes me appreciate the game so much more!
EJ Red Dude its louder than anything else in the game. Shotguns and revolvers are like nothing compared to it. You guys seriously dont hear how loud it is?! Is it jus my game? Such a shame. Can never get these perks cause of their volume.
If in Drug Den (5:38 final floor) you are with companion, when you are empty handed (lowered weapons) you will see how your companion takes jet. I always enjoyed Piper's addiction :)
Man, Bethesda are masters at world-building and creating immersive, intriguing and truly amazing open worlds. Environmental story telling has always been their forte. I remember finding that laundry building and seeing all the bones in the dryer my reaction to it was just "A skeleton... huh. Cool." I think I didn't even notice the Paul Revere house when I was following the trail. 😆
Also the synth ambush that you expirenced was not a random encounter. They were leftover from the brotherhood of steels final battle with the institute with liberty prime.
At Bridgeway Trust: Close the safe door and there's another shelf behind it with some more Pre-War Money stacks on it. Useful if you need cloth or if you want to trade it for caps/buy things from merchants. Oh, and in the Drug Den if a companion is out of power armor he/she will start inhaling Jet at a point on the top floor. Funny to watch sometimes.
I have a different theory about that bank, the police protectron went haywire and started killing everyone in the bank and the ash pile on the floor is a policeman who started shooting the protectron severely damaging it. While the protectron was killing everyone the bombs fell which is why the protectron is in shambles and I think when the room behind it collapsed it blew the protectron onto the floor with such force that it was destroyed. The couple with the pistols were probably trying to destroy the protectron, but were unsuccessful.
Excellent video, though I'm surprised you missed the hidden room in the building across from the Drug Den which can be reached by jetpack or jumping to the rooftop next door and then through the hole in the wall (you can see it at the end of that part of the video). There's a little loot and a mannequin in there.
Oxhorn your voice is like audible chocolate, its makes it so much easier to fall asleep at night. Love what you do and the stories you tell, have you considered telling more fan made stories? Keep it up! :)
Fun fact: the Mean Pastries shop located by the North End graveyard in the game is a reference to Mike’s Pastries, a real Italian bakery in the North End Italian neighborhood in Boston. If you’re ever in the city, definitely plan to visit, their cannolis and pistachio macaroons are out of this world. Source: I grew up in the Boston area
I prefer to imagine that Mean Pastries is a developer's reference to Mike's Pastries in Boston, home of some seriously heavenly cannoli. Also take note that both of these lovely little bakeries are nearby North End. If you're ever in the area, I highly suggest visiting Mike's for a sweet bite of a cannoli of your choice. Maybe two.
I have a suggestion for the next in marked location. Out side of diamond city on the stand there's a little hideout that kinda looks like one of the makeshift rooms that the guards will make outside. There's a dead settler up there too. There's a power amour station and a bed. It's really weird. There's a trap door but you it doesn't lead anywhere. You can open and close it but that's it.
I have a really cool mod that adds the construction site to murkwater construction site, so I can make a hotel, they have also cleaned it out and it’s really cool
Hey, Oxhorn! I’ve been a fan for a while, now, and I am always blown away the the stellar quality of your videos. I must say, the thumbnail for this particular video gave me chills! Keep up the incredible work!
the vault door in that bank faces the same way as the one in the switchboard where you find the deliverer and carrington's device. The one bank downtown in the skyscraper has the bars behind, but i think there is another bank in lexington with the bars in the font. I think maybe whichever bethesda employees worked on each location must have placed them as they thought looked best, i'm not sure if they have a right and wrong way.
Did Charlestown Laundry get mentioned? Not only is one of the Le Coiffe magazines there, but the place is loaded with Abraxo, and Bars of soap, and one loan teddy bear sitting in a basket.... which immediately reminded me of the Snuggles Laundry detergent bear from the commercials in that setting
Hey ox just wanted to say that I loved that little joke you did with Bonny and Clyde/Vicky and Vance at the bank since you are currently putting a lot of time into new Vegas keep up with the great work
I like thinking the body in the dryer was some one pulling a "Jackass" type of gag. It was almost Halloween. The individual could have been trying to spook someone, or just wanted to spin around in the tumble cycle. XD

The parents heard the bombs and went to find their child but couldn't find them as they were in the washer/dryer which might have been turned on. Sad really.
I really can't wait for lonesome road!
Same. That custom intro is going to be legit. Plus maybe Ox can break down some of the confusion that surrounds both Couriers.
The skeleton in the dryer reminds me of a scene from the movie "Identity"
People love to rag on Fallout 4, but nobody ever takes the time to enjoy the subtle details. I hope the next Fallout has even better graphics and allows us to explore Pre-War a bit longer than the exact moment the bombs drop.
Sure its there but stil for most its (ocean?) of content but dept of a mud puddle. Those things are a Nice extra but boring afther u know them. Quest and rpg gives more replay. But modded its fun though 🙂
You help take me away from bad stress and I thank you Oxhorn.
I bought fallout 4 last week and you've showed me alot about fallout and i just can't stop playing fallout while learning more about it from your vids:) i have watched so many of your vids already and i can't wait to watch even more
6:34 airshot :D
[The Wonderful Adventures of Preston Garvey] SEASON 3
Quick Recap: The Minutemen at the Castle received the transmission from the rescue team, that’s leaving the Glowing Sea, with an army chasing them.
Episode Ten: Run
[Castle]
General: They’re on their way back, so would that attract the army? I’m just wondering if they’re hiding while running.
Minuteman: Knowing Captain Miles, he has a good plan sir.
General: I hope he does. We don’t need another foreign enemy invading us again. Contact the Brotherhood and Railroad. Tell them about the intruders, and to keep watch on them and make sure they don’t settle down for too long.
Minuteman: Sir! The enemy army is here!
General: Already?!
Minuteman: Fire the artillery!
(But rolling on wheels is the enemy’s own artillery weapon. They fire it, dealing a great deal of damage to the Castle walls)
Gannon: Run!
Some went into the beach, some were making their way to the Airport, and others stayed to fight)
(End)
Wow, thanks for tuning in everyone. Leave recommendations too. Have a good day :)
Crossover to Skyrim. Let Preston meet the bugged repeating npc of Skyrim
The Hold Guard
Asher Tirona
Yes, haha
Is it true the Minutemen are just puppets of the Institute, paid for with Sex Robots?
FUmarc uhm
FUmarc
Maybe?
You forgot one pretty nice place!! At 6:18, exactly in front of you is a huge hole in the wall and if you jump on the roof in front of you, you can get over there. In the room you'll find some furniture and one locked door with a little nice surprise behind it!!
@@captaingarcia7514 What kind of surprise would it be if I told you now?
@@captaingarcia7514 Good choice!!
So many places I've never heard of, I'll be sure to explore them, and explore more in general!
I swear I find these unmarked locations better than the ones that are marked on your map
from the rainder's drug den roof you can go to the next hause roof and from there to a hole in the wall in the next house i think there is a green steamer trunk inside behind a lock door or maybe a crepy manequin scene or both if I remember correctly.
Can't believe I never checked that house by the Drug Den. Thanks!
I actually got sent to the unmarked Drug Den as a side quest from the SRB.
There was an older model synth held "captive" by the raiders, never even noticed they were drugging up.
My god we need a Fallout 5 and more Oxhorn walk-throughs
Greatest Fallout youtuber EVER! Love your vids Ox ❤👍
Awesome video and series.
Love how you ram into enemies and send them flying. Using fat man on them is awesome too.
Look forward to the next part.
12:04
I think that's a reference to steelheart, a book.
He started to drink waiting for death
if you need to raise affinity with Cait that bank is a good place , she likes it when you pick those locks
for some reason your 2018 fallout videos give me nostalgia
Hey Oxhorn, have you discovered the area NE of Somerville Place that has the Raider painting a big statue? It's in between Somerville Place and Cutler Bend.
My story for the cat is that it ran out of all 8 of its lives when the bombs dropped and is on it's 9th life just trying to survive
Oxhorn I love watching your videos each day. Thank you for doing what you do.
Mean Pastry is probably based off of Mike’s Pastry, which was founded in 1946 in the North End of Boston. They’re most famously known for their amazing cannolis. I’ve had one myself, and I can say for sure that the amazing food there makes the shop a tourist attraction.
Junk: Exists
Cait: *Triggered*
I know this comment is late (by 3yrs lol)so I don't expect you to respond Ox, but I've watched you for a few years now, and I just wanted to say I love your attention to every detail in the fallout games not just 4, you notice every little thing, every story untold, and you bring it to light and I appreciate it
Another great episode! I wish I would have paid more attention during my multiple playthroughs. So many details I've missed and it makes me appreciate the game so much more!
Pain Train looks like so much fun!
CHOO CHOO
It comes in handy for swarms of low level mobs and fits Brotherhood/military heavy builds
Am I the only one that can’t use Pain Train, Grim Reaper’s Sprint because they are SOOOO loud. Seriously.
+Veroxzes
That's pretty much the point of Pain Train, running over enemies with PA isn't exactly quiet
EJ Red Dude its louder than anything else in the game. Shotguns and revolvers are like nothing compared to it. You guys seriously dont hear how loud it is?! Is it jus my game? Such a shame. Can never get these perks cause of their volume.
This series is gonna be my favorite , keep it up Ox
If in Drug Den (5:38 final floor) you are with companion, when you are empty handed (lowered weapons) you will see how your companion takes jet.
I always enjoyed Piper's addiction :)
Oxhorn the sound of the whistling Mini Nukes while Cait unloads Gatling Repeater hell is so good. I could listen to that kinda stuff for hours. :D
1:07 Cait seemed keen on a back-door entry.
sexual pun intended.
We all did low key
I watch your videos like Saturday morning cartoons, they give me something to listen to while I do work for university. Keep up the good work!
Man, Bethesda are masters at world-building and creating immersive, intriguing and truly amazing open worlds. Environmental story telling has always been their forte.
Also, I absolutely love your channel and your videos! I’m 17 and in my senior year of high school and I’ve been a fan of your channel since I was like- 11 or 12😇 you always make amazing content and I’m so sorry about any of the drama you ever had to deal with
You missed one place by CIT, under one of the bridges is a small home. I actually built a settlement there
I don’t know how I stumbled across your videos but you’re literally always on, and you’re the only one I have my notifications on for! Keep up the great work!
This is only part 2, I can't wait to watch the rest of your unmarked location videos
Hey oxhorn you should try and get the perfectly preserved pie in a scotch and smoke rings episode
One episode just dedicated to him trying to get a PPP? I wanna see that!
There is a perfectly preserved pie that respawns in the bar in Nuka town USA. But thats too easy...
The first time I played I got a slice of pie with a 4 luck, in Mean Pastries, I think. At the time, I didn't know what a rare event that was.
Jay Matker with only 1luck that is the real challenge
I like to think those bones aren't pre-war at all and the cat has simply picked them clean. Lucky for you, it just ate and isn't inclined to attack.
I remember finding that laundry building and seeing all the bones in the dryer my reaction to it was just "A skeleton... huh. Cool." I think I didn't even notice the Paul Revere house when I was following the trail. 😆
I just got off of school and this is what I love coming home to. Keep it up Oxhorn.
Keep it up! :)
When you said, "Running smack dab into a random encounter." I honestly didn't expect it to be meant literally.
New drinking game! Take a shot every time Ox says the line, “We find an end of dungeon steamer trunk.” 😂 loved the video Ox!!!
Super mutant: Gonna be a-
*Dong*
Player: good funeral lol
I feel bad for the cat at mean pastries he never gets visited
Best Fallout Videos anywhere on the net! You bring in so much detail that most overlook. Keep it up!
I remember mean pastrys. I honestly forgot about it. There's a boxing gym near Old North Church and a red rocket near Federal Supply Cache 84NE
Thank you for making fallout far more interesting, keep up the great work....
I love unmarked locations, they add immersion
Hey ox just wanted to say that I loved that little joke you did with Bonny and Clyde/Vicky and Vance at the bank since you are currently putting a lot of time into new Vegas keep up with the great work
I like thinking the body in the dryer was some one pulling a "Jackass" type of gag. It was almost Halloween. The individual could have been trying to spook someone, or just wanted to spin around in the tumble cycle. XD
