大阪に住む３５歳です。
７月の末に骨の癌が見つかりました。
余命は８か月！だから、あと５か月程かな。
思えば２月１６日の武道館、やっとの思いでチケットをゲットし、サマソニ以来の生べビメタを楽しみに張り裂けそうな気持でコロナ渦の中、新幹線を使わずに車で８時間かけて東京まで行ったのが昨日の事のように思い出せます。
今、思えばあの頃から少し股関節が痛く、「ま、仕事のしすぎか」くらいに思っていたのですが体は病気に負けだしていたのかな、なんて思います。
けど、そんな事も忘れるくらい期待で武道館に向かい、足の痛さなんか本当に忘れるくらいの感動で武道館から帰ってきたのを覚えています。
確かに余命宣告を受け、落ち込みはしましたが何も手につかない中でもべビメタの音やDVD、新しい情報がないかとネット、ユーチューブを毎日チェックする自分に気づき「ああ、本当に自分はべビメタが好きなんだなあ」と思い、何だか暗い気持ちも自然に消えていく日々でした。
そして仕事を皆さんより少し早く引退し、今は残された時間をいかに大切に、楽しく過ごすかの日々の中、ここ２か月も同じようにべビメタの新たな情報をチェックする事を楽しんで過ごしております。
もう、自分は新たなべビメタにはお会いし、直接応援をする事が出来ないかもしれませんが、また必ず皆さんの前に元気な２人？３人？？が笑顔で登場する事を、遠い場所より心からお祈りしております。
僭越ながら、私よりエールを

BABYMETAL、そして３人の心の使命でもあった、べビメタを通してさくら学院の名前を広めるという事もしっかりやり遂げた上での休憩だと信じております。
長くて、少し重い文章にはなってしまいましたが、２月の武道館は私が生きた最後の誇りでもあります。
本当に有難うございました。
適切な言葉が見つかりませんが、コメントせずにはいられませんので。私は貴方と同じステージを、同じ気持ちで体験できたことを誇りに思います。

今まで歴史上で死ななかった人はいない。人間は100%死ぬ。死を意識しながら生きることで生きる実感が何倍も意味あることになります。私もいずれ死にます。それはもしかするとこの後横断歩道渡る時に事故って死ぬかもしれないし、急に検査で病気が見つかるかもしれない。つまり、みんなあなたと同じ立場なんです。
そんなことを普段から考えてたら、死ぬことに恐怖はなくなりました。あー、死ぬことって順番なんだな。としか考えてません。
こうやってコメントを通じてあなたのことを知ったのも何かの縁です。残された期間が長い、短いを決めるのもあなたです。素晴らしい人生を悔いのないように楽しんで下さいね！かと言って、特別なことをしようと気を張らなくていいと思います笑。

These girls literally devoted there childhood to this band! I think it’s fair they get a break.
If you read some interviews you see that usually it was the girls who didn't want to take a break and keep going.

As a new fan, it’s always a blessing to visit the Babymetal archives and experience moments in history like this. Not just the video, but reading through all these comments from 2 years ago. Seeing everyone’s emotional out pours, of not knowing what the future holds, all documented. It’s like everyone left their signature at a memorial, now frozen in time like in a digital ice. I only hope RUclips doesn’t mess anything up with an update or something. Either way the hearts have been expressed and at least I am here to witness it like a museum.
In hindsight knowing what the future holds it fills me with hope. This really gives me a sense of perspective looking forward. I am grateful I took the chance to see them on the Babyklok tour. I can’t ever take these girls for granted.
6年前、人生終わった･･･と思いながら病室のベットの上で偶然にもソニスフィアのLIVE動画に出会い、あまりの感動に体が震え涙が止まらなくなり、一度でいいからBABYMETALのLIVEをこの目で観に行こう！人生やり直そう！とその時心に決めました。
それ以降何度もLIVEに足を運び、その度に感動で涙し、沢山のパワーをもらい、歩くのもやっとだった体力も完全に回復し、失ったはずの笑顔も取り戻し、おかげでそれまでとは全く違った人生を歩むことが出来るようになりました。
本当に生きてて良かった！しななくて良かった！
次にまたLIVEで会える日がくるまでずっとずっと待ってます。

Sorry for your loss, mate. But I feel you with the depression stuff - I discovered them during one of my worst depression episodes, listening to Babymetal was the only thing that truly brought me any joy. It was like a light in the darkness for me.
Same here, BABYMETAL helped me with some very dark times in my life.
I would never be where I am today if it weren't for BABYMETAL.
I lost my best friend to suicide last October. A friend recommended Babymetal and it's made such a difference to my life. I don't understand it, I'm just grateful to have found them. My condolences for your loss Richard.

I found Babymetal in late 2022, about the time The Other One came out and Babymetal returned to life. Exciting times with Monochrome First Take, Momo becoming a full member and finally seeing them live in Cologne in May 2023. All the while I was busy figuring out Babymetals past, watching footage of earlier concerts and at the same time following their progress around the world. But only now, in September 2024, watching this video and reading the comments, do I finally understand what it must have felt like to see your favourite band "sealed" without knowing if this seal would ever be broken again. It has been, and I know that my life has become richer because of it.
Love how her voice has really matured into this song over the years.
It's pure perfection.
Her vocals have some serious power. As a child, she was belting out some impressive music. As Su grew up, she has only gotten better.
One of the all time GOAT female singers, with a voice all her own, in a genre all her own. She sang this project into worldwide acclaim. Legend indeed.

I agree her voice matured a lot over the years which it was easier for her to put tone of emotion in her singing same thing for moametal if you watch her 20th birthday which she sang headbanger and if you compared it to GJ from the ten years concert there’s more improvement but she still finds ways to hype the crowd
I was on set a few months ago and was asked my favorite band. I am a 64 musician from Nashville. I said Baby Metal. One of the actresses screamed "Shut up! You may be the coolest old guy I have ever met." I had nothing to add.

I feel like this is a "until we meet again" type of farewell as opposed to a "thank you for the memories" type of farewell. Basically, it's not a goodbye but a see you soon type of thing. We've seen Babymetal debut on the scene as teenage girls and have watched them grow into mature, young women that have redefined a genre of music and gave it a fresh face. All the while, they have likely sacrificed much of their personal lives and development to give us a grand tale to experience on stage, on tour, and in their music. Their career is a musical masterpiece of art that only they could create. So this is just an end to one major leg in the journey. More than likely, the ladies are going to take a much deserved rest from the spotlight. Whether they choose to take time for themselves or pursue solo ventures, the Babymetal era is just something that will be taking an extended hiatus. Maybe in about three to five years, they will return as something else. Whether as "Babymetal" or as something else entirely, this is not the end but the sign of a new era to come. I got into them around 2014 or so and honestly I wish I got into them sooner and was more active in enjoying what they have released. I enjoyed their albums and I love their videos. I can only wish these ladies nothing but the best of whatever life has to come for them and to all those involved in their creative realm. Thank you for everything you've done over the past decade. When will we see you again? Only the Fox God Knows.
Indeed, especially when they are being affected pretty badly by COVID restrictions. Live performances are their main thing and they can't do them. I think this is just a break until that clears up, especially when they are still climbing higher and with how the announcement of the break said that the seal would be broken some day. The vagueness of that 'some day' part could be attributed to the lack of clear end to the COVID restrictions since no government that has restrictions in place has announced a date to lift them or even the intent to.
This project is too successful and authentic to be done. H3adbangers never stop.
I got into them pretty late, only I guess about two years ago, but through the power of RUclips have been fortunate enough to basically watch them grow up. You can tell just by watching them that the y were born to be on the stage, but they deserve and on some level missed out on a life off the stage. 10 years is a long time. A well deserved break I’d definitely in order and may even be necessary for their well being. I wbish nothing but the best for them whatever they do.

@@phillipgregory9671 you can't go by normal logic in times where things aren't normal. The pandemic has hit them hard since it took away, albeit temporarily, the one thing their focus is on as a group. They aren't allowed to perform live, they could be fined or even shut down entirely if they do for disobeying current covid policies regarding live performance. While things have been getting better, we aren't there yet, at least not in several countries including Japan.
Then there's what was said when this was announced, particularly in that it specifically mentioned the seal being undone, which no doubt means resuming activities in full. They would have used more permanent language if this was ever intended to be permanent.
Then there's their record so far, no group in their right mind would stop when they are still gaining. If they'd stabilized, sure, but not while they're still rising.
They are better off suspending group activities in favor of individual practice while they wait, it is a lot more cost effective and they would come back better than they've ever been.
I'd just discover BabyMetal in 2022. Better late than never.

I would've never thought years ago that a band like this would be my favorite. But, here we are.
Despite being a music lover I used to kinda scoff at people that got overly attached to bands.... but here I am. I can honestly say this band is literally an important and beneficial part of my life well beyond just something I like to listen to.
Don't think there hasn't been a day i haven't listened to BABYMETAL since they came into my life a years ago.

I got into Babymetal just yesterday and I come across this. I was not really a fan of metal but Babymetal just connects with me, maybe because im at the teen age or there is something that Babymetal has that hits my heart.Although I have 10 years of content and music to watch during this break, I still am heartbroken. Even though they weren't gone for long, this video still gets me. I was definitely someone who saw them as a foolish gimmick when they first started out. But it didn't take long at all for the band to win me over. They took a genre that I felt had grown pretty stale( like with much of the music industry, all the metal bands from the 90's on seemed to just copy each other to the point where you couldn't really tell them apart anymore) and put a unique twist to it.
I suppose this video does represent the end of the old Babymetal. There newer work does have a different feel to it, but I'm all for it. You gotta grow.

i know i only got into this band recently but here i am crying. This band has cheered me up so many times and i hope Su-metal and Moa-metal have a great life until we see them again because they deserve it.
I regret that I just entered the fox hole recently despite hearing about "Babymetal" back in my early college days, I feel that I missed a certain part of my music life since at least 2013. Watching their performances both in their official music videos and live performances from they were in their early teenage years to their almost mid-20s made me realize how I missed the real-time opportunity to see them grow both as a band and as fine young, talented ladies they are today. I can't consider myself a metalhead, but I love music especially rock music, and I guess some of us (if not most of us) love the kind of music BABYMETAL brings to us because within the heaviness, rebellious feeling (if you may, can't find a better word to describe it) covering the inner personalities that we have, there's a core (our heart or soul) which BABYMETAL penetrates and hit us hard with all their elements while still satisfying our need for heavy music - resulting for some of us to be so hooked or emotional while listening to and watching them. And that's a great experience for me, and I won't be ashamed of being a fan of a band that created, founded a new genre, (or sub-genre for others), and introduced and shared its goodness to the world. A band that I'll proudly introduce to my children someday. I'll be and will always be a kitsune forever. 🦊🤘

Rediscovered them last year. What a journey they’ve had huh? So many epic moments, growth and challenges. Bought the Tokyo dome concerts and it was the best two night concert I’ve ever seen. Mind boggling the amount, and how difficult, some of those songs and choreography were! The Legend 1997 was the most theatrically incredible concert I’ve seen and that was when they were 16 and 14!, Legend S was the most emotional and my favourite. They challenge my thoughts on music and I thank them for it. I’ve discovered genres and musicians that I wouldn’t have because of them, and they taught me that no idea is too crazy. Su said it best: Don’t think, just feel! And so here I am crying as I watch this again. Hope this isn’t good bye, but thank you Su-metal, Moametal and Yuimetal for giving so much!

@@def__tones2473 The sealing is related to covid-19 restrictions (from my perspective). When the live shows restrictions are fully lifted in Japan.
The beginning of the unsealing will occur, probably with some cryptic video message from The Fox God in this channel.

@@Sara_metaru let's be real, a good portion of babymetal fans are casuals who are just curious at first then stayed for a while. the long hiatus made these people lost interest and moved on. they are not like other idol fans who are very devoted to the group. me for example, i just found out that babymetal came back today. i'm sure a lot of fans will be back once they start doing tours and festivals again

学生には辛かったけど、武道館5公演行って良かった。BABYMETALに出会って2年弱だったけど、本当に楽しかった。これからもBABYMETALの音楽を聞き続けます。
2年程前にファンになったので、少しの間しか応援出来ませんでしたが一生BABYMETALの素晴らしさに気が付かないよりはマシだと言い聞かせて10/10までを過ごし、10/10の1日を過ごしました

Started listening this band 2 months ago after hearing "Catch me if you can" and Nooow it's my favorite band, fresh, energetic and creative. Just love it.

I discovered babymetal in I belive 2017 or 2018 but i used to not like them, but now at almost 15 in 2022, they are my go to metal band that I actually love. I'm glad they get a break after such a long time, as they pretty much devoted their childhoods to this band.Babymetal, We will see you girls on the next flight

I still can't believe this band worked! ...and not only worked it's probably my favorite band ever. Definitely took my guitar skills to where I never thought they'd ever be learning to play their stuff. Hope this is just another chapter because they'd literally be throwing away a winning lottery ticket not keeping this going.
I came across them when I was randomly just clicking on, and watching, music videos. It was a live show and at first I thought it was a Asian medal band made up of some bad-ass's that could really play... Then these three little girls emerged, skipping, from the darkness behind all of them and I was confused. Then About halfway through the song I literally remember me saying to myself "...This is fucking genius". lol.

すずかさん、もあさん、ゆいさん本当にありがとうございました😊😭私ベビーメタルを6歳くらいからずっと大好きで、2017年10月15日に大阪城ホールに行きました。まさかそれがゆいさんの最後のコンサートなんて思ってもいませんでした。ゆいさんは病気で引退してしまいました。私が行った大阪城ホールがゆいさんの最後だったみたいでとても奇跡的だなぁ泣と思いました。そのあとすぐギター担当の藤岡さんが高い所から転落して亡くなりました😭私の心の中ではこれからもベビーメタルは輝き続けます！ベビーメタルの皆様本当にありがとうございました😊😭幸せでしたし、今もこれからもずっと幸せです😊

Something inside me told me to react to this today, and so here I am.
I started following BABYMETAL's journey when Doki Doki Morning was released back in October of 2010, and ever since then, their music has really helped me through some very dark times in my life. I am hoping once this whole "restoration project" thing wraps up (probably later this year assuming it's a linear process), we will see them back and even stronger than before.
Until that time comes, we must stay adamant. We must stay hopeful. And above all, we must...
