How is there a trailer for a 2026 movie with clips of the original movie in it? It would be nice if this was real, because I like the way the gremlins look.
It would be cool to see what Gizmo's version of a gremlin would be like, even if I wouldn't ever want it to happen. I think he'd still be good, but also a powerful little bad ass with a hot rod rigged for taking down evil gremlins. In the story we'd have a really powerful gremlin that can only be killed by another gremlin and this would be Gizmo's willing sacrifice to save the world and his family.
There's an official design of Gremlin Gizmo. Unfortunately, it's a LEGO version 😆 maybe an artist online has done a more realistic version of it going by that LEGO design. He's basically a brown and white gremlin with spikey eyebrows. It was for the Lego Dimensions game.
What people really need to know, and I don't know how they'd properly insert this in, is via Secrets of the Mogwai acting as the prequel aeries, rule 3 was shortened down from and has to do with the moon: Never feed him (them) during the hours when the moon is at its highest point in the sky.

I am excited for a Gremlins 3. I've loved the Gremlins movies since I was a kid. But I would like to point out that there are a few bits in this from Gremlins, and I know for a fact that the gargoyle gremlin was from Gremlins 2: the New Batch. And I have absolutely no idea why, but for some reason I always get pissed off when a trailer for a new movie in a series has spliced scenes from the past movies instead of original scenes. But still, I'm excited. And when I do watch the third one, I'll probably watch it with my Stripe figurine ☺️
I'm an 80s kid, and Germains was one of my favorite movies growing up..I can only hope they would make part 3 or a new story base on it ..but do it right and not slapped together.

If Billy and Kate were able to not allow Gizmo to get wet for over 35 years (which would precipitate all the other problems,) there is no reason so it to happen now. Even if they had children and grandchildren. By this point they would all be briefed about the rules on dealing with a Mogwai. The only thing that would make sense is probably not a fun answer. We don't know how long Mogwai live for, so it could be written that Gizmo is getting older and may not live much longer, so they intentionally get him wet just so that the Mogwai don't go extinct with Gizmo. Maybe one or two Mogwai offspring turn out okay and can be raised by Gizmo to be nice, but you will have your usually delinquent variants as part of that litter. They escape, eat after midnight, turn into Gremlins, etc. and start the usual hi-jinks. Otherwise, you could do a modern-remake of *_Gremlins._* Still have Howie Mandel voice Gizmo, (which he can still do.) As wink and a nod as well as a link to the past, Zach Galligan and Phoebe Cates could be the Futtermans in this remake. Ironic twist of fate that the character that played Billy would be the guy telling everyone Gremlins were real and no one believes him. 🤣
Maybe someday...this dream will be come true...i love the first part of the gremlins...the second wasn't bad but not as good as the first one...maybe someday they'll make a remake of the first part...🤔
