We just bought our first boat! 19' Carolina Skiff DLX (old though... '94 hull 😅) with the same Yamaha 115 you have there! *Very* excited to get it on the water. Watching your videos is great inspiration for cleaning up our salty old dog.
Niceee, my husband and I had so much fun catching flounders last year and can't wait for this season! We are more into snakeheads based on distance, but if we ever see you around the water, we'll definitely say hi
We got em yesterday down here off fisherman's Island Thursday. Only 3 but all keepers. Going back Wednesday, trying to get some live croakers for a trophy
That water is cold and rough. Definitely should have a life vest on especially being your alone. Be save. Have a great season. Boat looks good. One little tip. Those rust areas on the fiberglass around steering wheel will come off with a small dab of soft scrub and green side of Brillo sponge. A little wax and good to go.
Yea here in Nj there’s a new law any vessel under 26 ft from the months of November 1st to may1st a life jacket is mandatory on any persons on the vessel. Smart law, too many people die or go overboard where I’m located
Hey Scott my brother in law and I bought spinning rods from you at the oc boat show. We went white perch fishing last weekend , your rods are awesome. They are sensitive and have a great feel , i cant wait to use them for flounder down in va. I think they are perfect rods for the Chesapeake and inshore flounder. Hopefully you guys comeout with a 7ft version.

That is awesome!
Great to see the Skiff back in the Water.
U said 8 months, harsh. Downunder we count by week ends. 3 or 4 week ends in a row might be a bit ordinary to go out.
That outboard looks amazing 👌 Gonna give them a call in the morning for mine, thanks for shouting them out
It’s insane! [Name] Steven Cavey

Scott what size and model is your skiff?
Carolina Skiff 24 DLX
How far offshore on a good day would you feel comfortable taking your skiff out
@@garyf4517 she's flat front and bottom so not far. I've been 3 miles or so on a FLAT calm day with no wind in forecast.
