The first time I listened to Soundtracks For The Blind I decided to turn off all the lights in the room and close my eyes for the full experience. I had to take a break after Helpless Child because I just started bawling when the organ came in. Great no. 1 pick.
Sleep is my favourite off of the album, the second part surpasses the joy of the first part of storm due to the context of rising out of the sadness of the first half of Storm. Also past like the first 12 or 13 minutes of storm where it goes ominous, i never really cared about that part.

@@chemicalfuzzy Obviously rymcore can be good, there's plenty of albums in the top 100 that I love (which makes sense because they're in the top 100 for being consistently loved by many people) but there's too many cases out there of peoples' top albums/songs lists consisting almost entirely of stuff that's popular on rym which implies that they usually just listen to what people are telling them is good. And there's not necessarily anything wrong with that, but it's good to venture out of your comfort zone often and check out something that might not have as much of a following. There's just as much gold outside of the rym top 1000 as there is within it. tldr: Yes, rymcore is good, but it shouldn't make up 85% of your list

@@feepants4495Their highest rated albums are Lonesome crowded west and moon and antarctica but It depends what you're feeling. If you want heavier more grungy music listen to lonesome crowded west. If you want something more existential and spacy and acoustic listen to moon and antarctica (my personal favorite). If you're feeling very mentally unwell their first album (which feels very slint-y) and building nothing out of something is good. The rest of their discography is more standard indie rock, I really like it but the fanbase not so much.
