the orange shirt toxie makes me think toxic Bart Simpson. I'm trying to remember which one it was, so there was prototype swampthing that was never used for the super powers Jenner line. years later with the swampthing cartoon Jenner did the toys. one of them, was bio-glow swampy which was the used prototype from before. the glow in the dark Roxie reminded me of that.

The SOTA figure you showed for comparison is still to this day one of my favorite pieces in my collection. Beautiful paint job and great likeness. Miss SOTA very much. No other company served so well the horror collector for those kinds of movies.
I wonder if this 5 point of articulation is only what Super7 can only do ?I love that they have done some great properties but really" retro" can only take you so far with collectors. We have the technology to make great figures if these companies wouldn't be so greedy.15 bucks for a figure that should be 5 on the high side.The days of 5 point are coming to a end wait and see.It would also be nice if we could get a better update on the motuc ultimates.Thanks dan great review as always
They do super articulated stuff as well. They are producing the new Masters of the Universe Classics figures. There's actually a pretty big market for this "retro" stuff. It's not for everyone, but the market does exist. :-)

Yep, you are right! Kenner reintroduced the cancelled Super Powers Swamp Thing into their later Swamp Thing toy line. A great line, btw!
Toxies disgustingly awesome. I’m glad 7 did him in ultimate. I have the colored one I’m debating on getting the glow in the dark one.

SOTA was a wonderful company. I LOVED their Street Fighter line as well. That Toxie there is one of my favorites.
