this is my first time watching one of your videos as a $uicideboy$ fan just trying to find and look for a new reactor to $uicideboy$, and you honestly are one of my favorites out here now. how you can go into depth hearing these songs just makes me feel like you value, realize, and understand what they’re saying in these songs they make. you enjoying the beats too calling them atmospheric is something so awesome to hear as well. you just gained yourself a new subscriber, wishin you the best of luck! 🙏🏻
Edit: i absolutely recommend more $uicideboy$ to you, some albums that are my personal favorites are I Want To Die In New Orleans and Sing Me A Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation.
    Some background on $uicideBoys:
$uicideBoy$ is known as a rap duo from New Orleans with the members names being Scrim and Ruby. They are both cousins and have been going at it since 2014. During their time making music, most of the time they were complete drug addicts ever since 2020 or 2021 from what i know. they had this rule specifically saying “if they didn’t make it in rapping when they turned 30, they were gonna off themselves”, and thankfully, they made it before 30. they struggled with mental problems like crazy during these dark times in their lives, and they’re doing insanely better than ever. Scrim is the one that makes the beats for themselves too, and he is one hell of a producer. G59 is also their record label, with it including members that go by Germ, Shakewell, Night Lovell, Chetta, and Ramirez. They are completely independent artists as well, and they’re growing like crazy and have been for a minute now. G59 is also called “Grey 59” and the 59 is a highway in New Orleans that separates 2 neighborhoods that didn’t really get along from what i know, and Grey is just mixing black and white together, making it all grey.

My liver will handle what my heart cant is a classic in every sense of the word. From front to back. Scrim produces the beats and is the one you said sounded like 21, and ruby is the other. They are cousins from NOLA and the G59 is their clique from all the way back to HS. Im pretty sure scrim said the grey is a blend of black and white, symbolizing their culture and the 59 is a highway that cuts thru Louisiana. My favorite song of theirs ever is either Low Key or Nightmare Choir. Low key was made after they both relapsed on H and it hits so hard. Great video bro and I hope you enjoy their other works. This album was like a blend of their new and old sounds. Since they’ve gotten sober in 2019 and 2020 respectively their sound has changed a lot but I love it personally, along with all of their old shit. Im pretty sure they have over 50 projects (EPs and LPs) released to this point. And yes, ruby can sing, he used to be in a few Punk bands before he started $B, and scrim used to DJ. I’d recommend you check out their no jumper interview from 2015 and their theo von podcast from this year to see how much they’ve grown and changed. Being such a huge fan of them, it really has felt like i’ve grown up with them over the last 6 years. If you liked this you’d love Pouya. He has huge bone thugs influence.

like troubled white teenagers that like rap often will, i had a real huge $B phase few years ago, like for years they were my absolute favourite rappers ever, but i did kinda fall out of love with them after hearing more and more music and finding stuff i thought that was even better. and they did have a change of sound over the last years from that muddy-deep-dark-underground stuff to something a little more commercial like this album, and idk i just don’t fw that as much as their older underground work which i do still go back to sometimes. this reaction was my first time listening to this as well and obviously this isn’t bad, but it doesn’t really hit me like that either. i’d probably go with a 6-7/10 rn, just doesn’t stand out too much. if you want to check out their earlier stuff (ik that’s a meme in the $B community but i really think they peaked in 2015, they released like 12 albums in that yr alone 😭😵‍💫), my personal fav tape of theirs is “high tides in the snakes nest”. and btw, i’m sure somebody has already said that by now, but all their stuff is produced by one guy in the group scrim, i just think that really embodys their independent character and i think it’s really impressive, bc i think the production at least never misses

Great video, you give off a very chill and honest vibe which i appreciate.
To the Suicideboys, if you really want to go down on their stuff they have a crazy huge catalogue of music. But i would suggest you get onto the songs which made them come up in the first place like songs like: 2nd Hand, Paris, South Side Suicide, O Pana, Magazine etc. anything from 2016 / 17 really.
They struggled with alot of drug abuse in the past and are now sober. (Scrim completely sober and Ruby Cali Sober)
Their depression and their substance abuse was also mainly the topics of their songs, there are a lot of deep ones as well which have some very heavy lyrics like for example: the kill yours*lf saga, antarctica, new chains same shackles.
anyway keep up the great work and have a nice day!

just finished your reaction, long day at cedar point yesterday, and I had to do a 2 part comment, lol. I've been listening to hip hip since the 90s, 1st cd was Lethal Injection. I'm loyal to an artist/label like no other. had my death row/bad boy period, master p/no limit, em, 50, dipset, max b... G59/The Boy$ have the top 100 of my songs played. the difference with the boy$ is that their music had an impact on my life, for the better. it wasn't about kicking the drugs with me (typing this as im literally using beyond weed) it was about just living and trying to silence this wish to just die as I had enough of living but coildnt end it myself. we won't even talk about how their music/lyric videos gave my son a life , that story is for when you review Sing Me A Lullaby My Sweet Temptation. older stuff is when they were heavy on drugs, but still absolutely fire, but from the beginning you can hear the changes to now, you hear the progression, every album has really been a banger since High Tide in the Snake's Nest, but the old stuff was a lot more GRIMEY and there were switch ups, they've matured a lot in recent albums and being sober helped too, but the sound was always fire, $crim produces every song they have, he's by far the best producer to ever walk this earth i think honestly, you'll notice that in the more songs you listen to

They make lyric videos also, which makes it easier for someone to get what they are saying. Their lyricism cant be matched imo.

Oh boy you’ve just awoken a whole community, they will not let up on you, you got SO much music to go through. They are legends at this point. Completely independent duo, and I saw you mention lil Wayne, he actually brought them out in nola some years back! If you wanna know more about them both personally they actually just dropped a podcast with Theo von which is HUGE they are very introverted, a select few interviews, and with this 2 hour podcast you’ll learn a bit from these guys, but DEFINITELY listen to some of their classic albums, I’d recommend eternal grey, high tide in the snakes nest, and now the moons rising. You’re about to tap into a whole scene of music, if recommend bones as well! Similar to these guys and is considered a pioneer for a major scene of music. Some of the biggest mainstream artists used to quote his lyrics or just show love over a decade ago.

The Sample on Lone Wolf Hysteria is from one of their songs called Bossier City Kidnap Victims from their EP (i think) called Yin-Yang Tapes with 4 different seasons
(Fall, Summer, Winter, Spring). Its a must listen and to me personal really REALLY good. And a lot of their other Albums are amazing, hope you check out more of the boys songs.

Only a handful of $b songs have a chorus but that’s just what makes their music so unique, no repetitiveness just straight bars

bro. react to "eternal grey" , then follow that up with "i want to die in new orleans" then follow that up with "stop staring at the shadows" , then finish it off with "sing me a lullaby my sweet temptation" , i know thats a lot but it's worth it. absolute classics

they do have old classics that are 1000% worth a listen but out of their new stuff even as a super bias fan i wholeheartedly believe this should be held high in regards to their new shit. to go from sing me a lullaby to THIS is insane

My best way of describing how to differentiate between scrim and ruby is that ruby has the deeper toned voice and scrim has a more traditional rap voice

@@alpharl6347 lmao there’s no way you’re saying scrim has the deeper voice, sure he does a deep voice sometimes, depends on the song but ruby has the deeper more unique voice forsure, scrim has your more typical rap voice. There’s no way you’re going to say scrim has a deeper tone on a song like champagne face or all dogs go to heaven

G59 came from something scrim came up with and Ruby said they should run with it also they lived on north side 59 and there color they rep was grey so that’s how the name g59 came about
