@@idkwhattohaveasausername5828well mgk has spent a good amount of his years trying to literally be lil peep after his death and jack harlow is… well jack harlow

Jack Harlow catching a stray is still kinda weird though because he’s just a mainstream rapper and I don’t think he’s ever hated on the underground or anything
This is their most complete album by a mile and I'm so happy to see them finding their spot and continuing to evolve. Scrim the best producer when it comes to sampling and there's no competition
scrim actually has produced for denzel curry, the song is “narcotics” it was originally on imperial, but it’s only on the soundcloud version of the album, it’s not on spotify or any major streaming
I think what Ruby is trying to say at the end of All of My Problems Always Involve Me is that they don't want people to try and put out posthumous albums of unreleased music and everything like how they did with Juice Wrld, X, Lil Peep, Mac Miller (his was done well tho), etc, like the whole thing about using their name and the tragedy and everything to try and make a profit. I'm sure they still want people to fw their music and take influence from them
I feel like Mac is the only artist I’ve seen so far that has hade music posthumously released well and respectfully. Everything else has felt kinda scummy to me
The speech that Ruby gave at the end of “All of my problems always involve me” was referring to (in my opinion) to what X, Juices, and Lil Peeps label or management team has been doing. Which is releasing music and music videos that they had in the vault in order to like keep them “alive” in a way, but for some people they see it as if their management team is using them for Profit by releasing that music, yk what I mean? Just thought I should share that with you guys Also, in “the light at the end of the tunnel for $9.99 a month” if you hear closely in the beginning you can hear a clip of Lil Wayne when he was getting interviewed and spilled his cup of lean mid interview 😂 and the reason WHY he put that in there is because $crim sampled the same song (“once” - Karma-Ann Swanepoel) from one of his favorite Lil Wayne Songs, which is “I feel like dying”
The producer Jim Jonsin was the first person to use that sample on "I Feel Like Dying" but the origin of the sample is a live performance by Karma @ The Mystic Hotspring which is available on RUclips if you look it up. Scrim actually sampled Jonsin's beat, too, so that added some depth to it, which I really liked.
