As an Italian I would never change my country for any other. We lack nothing, we have everything we need for a high quality of life, whoever always puts Italy behind others is just envious
1) I don't know who told you the phrases "It's so good I want to sing" and "I hope this doesn't turn me into a giant carbohydrate", but whoever did was kidding you. They are quite ridiculous and I have never heard of them, although I was born in Italy many years ago. But above all: 2) it is very unpleasant that from 4:04 to 4:12 shameful false and ridiculous images were used. What is represented by these images IS NOT THE PALIO DI SIENA!! (the horses are saddled, the colors are wrong, the context is clearly built with AI) and this literally pisses off those who deeply love the Palio for its absolute authenticity and how intimately it involves the lives of so many people. The Palio is a serious matter and we don't need the approximation of those who are not interested in understanding. We demand respect!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I always strive to show respect for the cultures I feature in my videos, and I’m constantly learning. The Palio di Siena is an incredible tradition, and while I may not have portrayed every aspect perfectly, my goal is to share my experience and appreciation for Italy with my audience. As for the Italian phrases, I’m having fun learning the language and will keep working on it-improving is part of the journey!
