Wow never saw this clip of Me'shell...wish it didn't cut off. She was so badass back then. I love all her stuff but nothin can really compare to the Funk that she used to throw down. Hopin maybe her new covers album will lead to a return to some more funk cause her stuff..while lyrically serious..was just so feel good, shake your ass kinda music. Whereas the last 10 years or more have been more listen and learn. Plus the band's she put together back in the day were stacked with some of the best musicians you could ever hope to see. I get that artists wanna change and explore different things but damn I'd do anything to see her do the old stuff again.
