When she said yhoo guys I knew she was too gone 😂😂😂
She thinks she still has to learn SA accent. But she's got it on lockdown. The use of "yo" is on point 👉🏾
After so-called Dr Matthew Lani, I believe this lady is Satafrikan
@@Camagwinee no! You didn't just go there!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Camagwinee 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I also heard it and thought ai you are there baby girl 😂
Majority of South African love their indigenous language so if you speak it well they will gladly appreciate it. And then questions will follow on how , where and when you learned the language that is common. My home language is Sesotho and i can understand 4 other languages
That's a PARA Walk 🤣..you see that ,run
Hi Family, I partly disagree with the culture shock regarding buying data. The lady used a merchant who doesn’t have new technology at the shops.
I was going to say that you can literally just as for data… or you can buy it through the app with your card… or go to an atm or a petrol station 🤷🏾♀️
Whether it is South Africa's culture shock or electric shock I can't differentiate both.
Real talk
This is helpful to know.
I was shocked myself that she was taught an ancient way of buying data. And there's also contracts know for those who can afford it makes life a breeze they just deduct money automatically in your make and you get your data or minutes monthly without lifting a finger.
An Average South African can speak about 2 to 3 languages.
I'm South African, I understand all 11 SA languages and learning Asian languages too. I wana leave for Vietnam soon
Vietnam is so beautiful, of all the countries I’ve visited so far vietnam is one of my favourite. Lived there for 10 months.
We're happy to teach our languages. Im Xhosa from the town she lives in(PE) and she's doing well with the clicks
Very well infact
She's well versed now. She has a south african accent and I love😍 it.
She said "yoh guys" , like, she's really assimilated 🤣
The answer to the question in the end: we actually treat you like royalty if you learn and speak our native indigenous languages. Its like you now belong in the family
When u in Rome do what Romans do we like it like tht
Facts
We know the basic greetings. We will get off the plane saying them lol
@@TheDemouchetsREACT then welcome to the family
Buying airtime or data is not difficult for us, this days you don't have to go to shop, you can use your phone to do anything as you have a bank account.
Exactly it's not complicated at all, you can buy data directly from your bank account using internet banking or cellphone banking.
Just a little btw , Malls & Cinemas electricity will come back , they have generators & everything will continue happening as it was before.
In Wakanda Movie the indigenous Language they speak is Xhosa
When they say Kumkana they saying my King
The writing in Wakanda is Nsibidi of Nigeria.
@@youme1414 which Black Panther movie were you watching?
@@wandilekhumalo1255 It is clear you know nothing about that movie that centred on African superpower, which is Nigeria - the only true giant of Africa not SA.
If you have read the synopses you can see that the written letters are of Nigerian Nsibidi. Do you have any writing method in SA? No, you don't.
Thank you.
@@youme1414 when T'Challa gets a vision of his father T'Chaka they speak isiXhosa. Clearly you didn't watch Black Panther you watched one of the bootleg movie Nigeria is famous with.
Zulu, Tswana, Pedi, Xhosa, Swathi, Sotho, Afrikaans, English, Tsonga, Venda, Ndebele these are the languages of South Africa. They are spoken in Zimbabwe too.
In Ndebele with that addition of "Kwa" at the beginning of it makes it a name of a place. The correct one would be "isi or Si" isiNdebele or siNdebele.
@@mbusomhlongo579you are right, but Zimbabwean, is largely different to SA. Northern are called Matabele or Mthwakazi.
@@t.bozmkw3562 They are both IsiNdebele. The distinction is Northern Ndebele and Southern Ndebele. Zimbabwean Ndebele is a dialect of Zulu so they are similar languages as opposed to the South African Ndebele
@@TheeComms it's old Zulu, not a dialect. It's mutually intelligible amongst Nguni languages.
That load shedding part is not real, that was a loadshedding advert. They were making a joke about this constant power outages
You can literally buy airtime your mobile banking app😂😂 going to the shop is a long process
What side of South Africa does this lady live though? Ae data? I can literally buy data at tip of my fingers . We have banking Apps on our phones where we can do anything on haiboo 😂. Some markers walk normal though. Hmmm very interesting to hear that loadsheding is not only the South African thing 🤔. During loadsheding there are normally guys who stand in the middle of the roads wearing reflectors who control the traffic. Xhosa is very beautiful language but haai I struggle with clicks too. I normally get very happy when someone randomly speaks Sepedi and do ask them with excitement, engage with them and try to teach them more. Great video Fam ❤
Seago tia/betha seXhosa.
Oooh Sisi we have work to do with the languages, but I'll for sure have the translator app on deck lol
@TheDemouchetsREACT @Sisi I am waiting for that App. You might wonna try "Speak & Translate" App' You just download it on Google/Play store. I am just not sure if you can on the computer though. I learned Swahili with it and my Swahili is getting polished everyday. It's so easy to use. I just can't wait for the day you say to me "Dumela sesi" (Hello my sister) 💃❤️
@@LLEntertainment hei wena, se nnyesa nyiii 🤣🤣🤣
Will do!
That stadium loadshedding was actually long. Fans were using the torches on their phones.
She's soooo cute💖🇿🇦
In South Africa we're used to buying data and airtime from the banking app on our cellphones, that's quickand easy😊
South Africans generally like it when you speak to them in their languages, so be free you will have the best time
Hi please do a reaction on Belinda Davids from South Africa.
We always run into issues with music, fam.
😂so much exaggeration in the video
Love you guys!!
Buying data is way too easy though, can be done within seconds even via ur bank app
African people are never against anyone learning language. We love it. I think that’s why we are also open to learning other languages too because we already speak about three minimum anyway. You guys should check out Jabulani the Zulu speaking Chinese man (Jabulani means be happy plural)
I liked how she said "If there's loadshedding down there. Tell us so that we can prepare ourselves" 😂😂😂
Hi Deon I hope I spelt your name right. To answer your question most Africans speak at least 2 languages as a minimum so No we are not shocked when a foreign person speaks our language’s because of how normal we see that as. In China they have only 2 languages mandarin & Cantonese with Cantonese only spoken in only one region meaning the majority of Chinese people only speak one language & as a result the concept of seeing a foreigner speak their language is a surprise to them
Thank you.
Lol if anything it I would probably find it very weird for a South Africa to only know 1 language. Because just from school alone in my area we learnt 2 to 3 languages, even though most of us are tlnot fluent in speaking most languages we surely understand each other when speaking. Because of most south African dramas include a cocktail of south African languages. That's how I actually learnt how to understand lingos from non-neighboring provinces.
Fun fact: I stay close to the Mozambiquen boarder so the Tsonga spoken this side some mix it with português words/slang. So a Tsonga individual from Bush or Limpopo may not understand certain terms used.
Also it normal for us to encounter portuguese speakers around our shopping malls and such (around my area).
PS: LOVE videos they have made me look at South Africa with fresh eyes and have learnt to love and appreciate it more instead of always complaining about the negatives❤
And we could tell where you're from just by listening to your accent 😂😂😂 that's crazy but true❤
There are simpler way to buy data. The last time I bought data that way was 10 years ago
Anyone can be a carguard. You just need a reflective vest. Some of them make like 40 dollars a day.
Buy Data is simply, you simply buy from your banking App or through celphone banking. You can buy Data from the shops which no conversion.
She bought Airtime to buy promotions Data which comes in different packages eg; for a day, a week, a month and time based Data...😅😅
😅load shedding 🏌️🔥🇿🇦🕺
It is the some. They are doing it save electivity
We get excited when other people learn our languages because hey they many yoh😂😂😂
Aww your’ll made me miss home, load shedding and all 😊
I love my people...my SA✌🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I seriously dont know when last i bough data like that, i even forgot that option existed- there are many different ways to purchase data and many have wi-fi now anyways
Could actually use cellphone banking option to buy data or via a bank app
The fact that she so naturally uses “yoh “ is crazy 😂that’s a culture shock to me
Meercats also love to live in hospital yards because they know they'll get food .
Yoll are so awesome! Would love to host yoll. From South Africa. LLemme know
Loadshedding I’m USA= The Purge 😂
And the car guards are also always in the way
You should listen to D22 boyz from Kenya yooo there dreal is on another level.....show more Love to African bro
Hi family I love u guys
Much love!
We buy airtime on the banking App....or EFT
She's lying about saying it's complicated to buy airtime, you can buy airtime from your phone, using phone banking
Data is not complicated at sll. Just use your banking app in your cellphone. Super easy
Lol ya'll have Para walk and loadshedding too that side.....? 😂😂
Guys... the stadium loadshedding was just sarcasm, it doesn't happen there 😂😂 how did you miss that just after the white guy has told you we joke a lot
Not everything is accurate... Places within SA are different, theres no whole blanket rule for everything... Like its all strictly like that nah... Americans don't always do accurate research... Y'all should learn from Trevor Noah
Huh
She's sharing her own experience. Nothing is wrong with that. This is RUclips, not research.
You're right, noted@@TheDemouchetsREACT
I use my bankapp to purchase data 🤷 don't they have that in canada ? Or they still use cheques to buy everything
There are quicker ways to source data
Barbaque guys is spice or seasoning not a braai the meat you fry it and seasoning it with barbaque spice
I'd like to know where do these cows come from?👀 they are in the Mount Pleasant and Walmer area. Someone told me that the people of Walmer Township killed and ate some cows and said the people from Motherwell committed the crime😂
The peacocks are more in the St. Georges area
Durban had the best variety of vegan and vegetarian food because there is a large Hindu population. Cape Town is a Johnny-come-lately to vegan and vegetarian foods.
The data part is not make sure😅
Lol! Why doesn't buy airtime and data from her app on the phone?😅😅😅
Maaaaaaan, you should've watched to the end! Something funny happened, lol.
They don’t spare hospitals and clinics 🥴so the stadium will definitely not be safe. Fortunately majority hospitals have back up power.
She should let me teach her Xhosa language 😊😅
She posted a new video. Please react to it
Loadshedding at the robots are horrible, fighting for my life everyday 😭
Do people not follow the rules? Peak hours without robots is a free for all around here so I'm not throwing shade, just curious if anyone tries to do the right thing at all
the mugging situation is real but like cbd joburg, the rest url will be safe plus url are black so dont worry too much on it, people here protect the tourists for real
🤣🤣we use our banking apps to buy data
😅💃🕺🏌️🔥🇿🇦
Uyasiqhela loo😂you are Nying ngoku😂uthi i data itheni
Haibo mxolele tshini😂
My data expired last night and bought new bundles in my banking app😂🤷🏾♀️
It's not everyone one banking app
@@Camagwinee “Uthini Ayanda”😂hai usiqhelile loo mntu
Zulu is the Second most spoken language after English,
Buying data is simple oaks 😅
I don’t agree with the data purchasing part, there are simpler ways.
The data part was untrue, when did she visit 2000?lol
I still go to the tuckshop to get airtime or data 😂
@@richardbotha1740 Lmao I haven't seen/used a paper airtime voucher in years dude. 🤣
I like you guys in Nigeria. You are blessed.
Thank you, sir and ma'am
You're welcome, fam.
it isnt the same kind of walk
8:27 are you 🩸? 👀
Shadow from my head/hair.
She doesn't know where and how to buy one of the most commonly used service in the country, geeez. we have internet banking how can we not have rapid data service
That cow pays taxes, he can go wherever he wants.
She's complicating life for herself. You can literally just buy it from your phone. Airtime and data
Don't understand why is South African slangs cultural shock, are we supposed to speak like all people around the world or every country have thier own languages and slangs ,crazy
Differences are fun.
You so boring you are too serious
I hope she has left cos it sounds like she’s not happy about anything here peacocks in hospitals disagree
