- A very chill start to the boating action at Indian River Inlet in Delaware. The boat traffic here was busier than Haulover and the inlet has the potential to get far more wavy and rough than Haulover ever could get. I'm excited to see what happens here in the future! The beach has great services but the parking fills up quick, so if you want to park close to the beach, get there early!

So happy to start producing videos from Indian River Inlet in Delaware! Thank you to all the subscribers who told me about this place. The boating traffic was heavy and I hear that the current and waves can get nasty. More vids coming from this trip and new 4k Haulover vids coming in a few weeks... i had my boat there for a year, it's the worst on east wind with a ebbing tide ...a good time to film the boat owners who don't know how to trim a boat...
Jim D so true but fishing is great once you get through the inlet I saw a guy have to be towed one on my way in from an awesome fishing trip he hit the rocks it was had
I was hoping you were going to stop at IRI when you were up for the WMO, yes this Inlet gets crazy crazy sometimes it was very calm in this video. I hope I know next time your filming there i want to get on the video lol

lol, seasick, so true, i was getting dizzy when i was editing, i left it in because i figured there would be lots of comments about the trim and help the video engagement score with the algorithm!

No way !!! Can't get any more close to home !! Thanks ZipZap !! This is where my dad and I run out of. I know from experience that this inlet can get sketchy really quick.. I remember loosing an engine on my old trophy 2502 on the way in with a 5-6 foot swell. I had a little bit of pucker action going on! Next time you are in the area I would love to catch up and say hello!

it was a beautiful day, i could only spend a few hours there, i was not expecting the HUGE volume of traffic and the sweet beach area, i looked it up on google maps and thought, this is gonna be a ghost town! Biggest regret of the trip to OCMD was not blocking out an entire weekend day for Indian River Inlet. Thanks again for pointing me towards this place!
ZipZapPower the weekend there can be really busy. Lots of boats fishing in the bay and inlet making for a bit of a zig zagging to get in and out of the inlet itself. But good boat traffic to film. If you come back my wife and I would be happy to treat you to lunch at the restaurant there (surprisingly good) and help out however we can.

Thomas Kramedas I was referring to the Big Chill at the south inlet beach. We like the food better there that Hammerheads. But there are a few things I like there too. But the view of the ocean is great.

Not sure, I'm booked up until December, so chances are that after this current series of videos, i'll get back or start producing vids from there in the spring.
This is a typical weekend at the inlet. More entertainment at the boat ramp on a Saturday!

That Baja outlaw looked like a joke coming through the inlet. The captain definitely did not know what he was doing.
that baja was definitely daddies boat, they didn't even know how to trim it, tbh he probably just left the trim at what his dad left it at when he last docked it. which explains the high trim.
These boats are more on my price range. Haha
Especially the first one, a day out on the water in a rustbucket beats any day at home watching youtube and wishing you had an Estrella.

Come back for the Flounder Pounder tournament next summer. Usually about 300 boats entered in the 5 day tournament. Should be able to get some good footage in the morning of boats running to the ocean. Really enjoy your vids !
