I keep my WTF in the refrigerator because is summertime and it stopped separating! 😀 it stayed nice and mixed and with more of a stiffer consistency. Thanks for the video!

The makeup looks fabulous on you Mary. I have a matching scar over my lip. People always think I have a cleft palate but I don't. Mine came from taking an epileptic fit and landing face down on the knob that turns on a radiator except the one I landed on didn't have a cap so it was just a metal bar. Ripped my lip completely open and had to get 72 stitches. It makes for a great story though. Scars show that we're survivors. Back to the makeup. That cheek colour is beautiful. So subtle. Really nice. I have never tried any bobbi brown. Bit out of my price range. Sending lots of love from up the road in Cavan.
Hello Emer from Cavan! Wow, that fall must have been terrifying for your parents. For years I was really self-conscious of my scars, but now...it's a part of my story and I don't mind them at all.
@@SkinObsessedMary My poor mother, god rest her. I was such a source of worry to her throughout my childhood. Thankfully all is well controlled now. Used to take full tonic clonic seizures on a weekly basis at the exact same time. Haven't had one in years. Yeah I'm the same with scars. Used to be so self conscious and now it's just an interesting story to tell. Not all scars are visible but we all gather some along the road. They're little trophies.
I haven’t purchased the WTFoundation yet for exactly the reasons you mentioned but it looks really good on you.

I have true pail Irish freckled skin and I'm liking the WTF combined with the pencils, which are great at covering redness. I don't like full coverage, so I think that's why WTF works for me, because in reality it's very VERY minimal coverage. Great video.

@@SkinObsessedMary I actually find it too dragging on my eyes, but it is great at covering sun spots and redness around the nose.
Sometimes I forget Gary is behind the camera so when he speaks I get excited because his accent is so cool! I like this foundation but it only works on certain skin types, it also is expensive and can trap bacteria in your pores because it is oil based (I think) But it looks so good on you!

This looks like you could just forget the other skin care products before usage. You have beautiful skin to start with and you look like you have blush normally, which I have to say looks wonderful. The foundation looked wonderful, great match. When people have oily skin, their body is trying to combat products that are stripping it, so producing more oil. Just like the hair trying to get a balance after being stripped. I'm going to buy her line and see how much I like it, looks like I really will. I make my own cream for my face and her miracle balm looks a lot like it. So many toxic chemicals in makeup , so I'm looking forward this brand. Having a dewy look makes people look younger, I don't understand why people want a flat matte, cakey look. Definitely look at the products you're using if you have oily skin, I had to eliminate everything and go down to ivory soap (has like three ingredients) witch hazel, and my own cream that is all butters and now have corrected skin. I was shocked to learn that a lot of beauty products have ingredients that cause the issue they say they're trying to help, because you'll use more product.
You're so right! And I can't believe you're making your own products. Very impressive! And 100% with you on the matte thing. I'm nearly 52 and am constantly chasing that youthful glow!
I’m 66 with dry dehydrated skin. I’m yellow undertone, what cheek color did you apply? Have you tried the miracle balm? Would love to know all the shades of the products you applied. Wish it was available in stores. I loved the product on you!

I think I'm going to try it. I have just started using BB balm and the concealer sticks but I'm dry and mature so this sounds like a good fit! I think it looked great on you.

Instead of the spatula, I use small wooden popsicle sticks which I buy from the dollar store-works well to help keep the product clean.

just bought the foundation i like it. i usually use a full coverage but i just use concealer. i bought the flushed balm shouldve bought a darker one
Yeah, it's not a full coverage foundation but I do think it leaves a lovely, natural finish. What do you find is the best way to apply? I'm still tinkering with it...

I just got this foundation, I really love it! It settles beautifully on the skin (I’m combo). I just hate the packaging! I wish she used an airless jar that pumps product from the top, or component with a doe foot/ pump hybrid so you can still mix the product and pump. I’m annoyed I can’t travel with it because it’s perfect to just throw on and forget. I just imagine the oils seeping out if someone didn’t keep the internal cap. Anyway it looked lovely on you, great review.

@@SkinObsessedMary I've been using it for nearly a week and I. LOVE. IT. With the way it looks on the skin in general, I don't really care or notice what it doesn't cover. It's such a natural, beautiful finish, and it does dry down considerably without powder. It's like a moisturizing, tinted primer that actually soaks into the skin.

@@SkinObsessedMary I've applied with and without, and I don't see much difference either way. I had watched a video where Bobbi Brown suggests to let moisturizers and skincare soak into the skin before applying WTF. At least five minutes after moisturizer with sunscreen seems to help with my skin (really dry!). I haven't seen any settling, pilling or separating. I have Miracle Balm Sunkissed on the way, so we'll see how much we can pile on! 😆
I tried this foundation, number 3, light, the color was perfect. I just turned 64 yo. I needed to switch from water base to oil base. I can not wear this make-up. The smell from the oils made my eyes sting terribly. I suddenly got all these clogged pores, I even cut this with a water based make-up.. it helped with the smell. It still felt heavy on my face and I am still stuck with these healing break outs and clogged pores. I am now using no make up for healing or a new oil based matte, where I am seeing my normally smooth pretty skin come back. I do love the Miracle Balm. I got one in Flushed and want to get another in a warm color. Oh, the foundation also made my pores look big, and it just wasn't for me.
I'm so sorry to hear that. I do know it doesn't suit everyone. How are you using the Miracle Balm?
@@SkinObsessedMary Hi Mary, ty for responding, glad you had a good experience. I wish it would have worked, but nope. I use a bit of powder blush first, I can only use a pink shade, although my skin is lt/med, and I have golden undertones. My family is from N. Europe. After the blush, oh, I love 💕 putting on the balm, I get some on my fingers and push on my cheekbones up to next to my eyes. I don't wear makeup on my forehead, but I put a swoosh of it up there and on my chin. I might refresh 2 times a day. I love it. It makes me look like I just came in from a chilly day 🍁I want to get another one for the beach look Bobbi was talking about. How do you use the Miracle Balms? What Colors do you like?
I got mine last week, I do like it, it is different from other foundations..
After it dries down, soaks in, it’s ok,
It does take a little trial and error. Less skincare is the way to go I think...
Yikes the packaging! You’re not the only one who is like WTF when it arrived lol. Looks lovely on your skin; but between the scent and packaging I’m still on the fence as to if I want to bother.
I have to say...the packaging is even worse over time. So I've decantered into a mini jar (freebie when I order Trinny London products) so it's much tidier.

I think it looks really pretty..my only worry is if I buy it wil it make me break out, bc I'm prone 2 acne & u said u could actually c the oil in it..but I do need a moisturizing foundation bc I also have dry skin..so I need something with lots of hydration that doesn't cause breakouts
Hmmmm...that's tricky. It definitely contains oils which is great for dry skin but I really don't know if it'll cause breakouts (as I'm not prone to them). So sorry I can't be of more help 😐
Just received the WTF. Was so looking forward to getting it but can't handle the smell of it-am very sensitive to most scents and all of the products, soap, makeup etc is unscented. I'm surprised how many reviews I read that didn't even mention this. Will return if I can.
I'm really sorry to hear that. It does have a scent but it's nothing something that bothered for me to some reason (which IS strange). I do think it dissipates though. Fingers crossed on the return 🤞

Hi Mary - your skin w/o makeup is awesome!! And I love Gary responding to what do you think? - kind of like if you asked him if your jeans make your a** look big😆.The biggest challenge that I have seen with reviews on this is that you really should do minimal skin prep - moisturizer etc. before use. Bobbi made it to use as a kind of one of done which is nice but I like all my skin care steps. I don't mind looking dewy because I have mature, dry 59 yo skin. Have to say the whole look is great on you. Please keep us posted as you wear it how it works with all of your skin prepping steps...tempted to pick this up!
I definitely will! I do find you can reduce steps (for me, I use less mist between steps) and I decanted into a much smaller pot so it reduces mess. It's such a lovely product.
I just tried it for the first time, clean face but no moisturizer. the product is lifting, not smooth at all
Hmmm. How are you applying it? The more I tinker with it the more I think I prefer stippling it with my fingers (rather than spreading, as I did in this video). What's your skin type?

I adore the Lip & Cheek stick (I have Rosy Brown) and Shimmer Face Oil (in Midas) is divine. I just ordered a bronzer, blush and a new miracle balm. Now wishing I'd picked up some eye shadow 🤬

It’s funny…I start off loving them and then I stop. I think the way my skin feels makes a difference. These are NOT for oily skin tho
I felt like this was heavy and greasy. It never set down on my face and just wasn’t for me. I have dry skin, so I was really optimistic about this one, but it was a BIG miss. If it had any sunscreen in it, I might have liked it more, but it doesn’t even have that. I added insult to injury with the miracle cheek balm. I felt so sticky that I could catch flies. I returned it immediately. Blech. I live in Los Angeles and it is WAY too hot here for foundation and cheek balm like this in the summer. I’m glad this worked for you, tho.
That's an interesting point....it may not be best for hot weather. I still have some tinkering to do but all in all I'm digging it.
Curious: Did you use moisturizer underneath WTF? I’ve read a lot of women adjusting their skincare routine and using a lot less, if any, before applying WTF.
@@cynthiajeske5710 when I remember! I usually do my skincare before I decide what makeup I’m wearing so I’d be best to skip it in the future.

I found a solution....I get these little plastic pots when I buy my Trinny London BFF Cream (a staple in my arsenal) so I decanted some into that and it's perfect.
