Importing Airfoils into Solidworks

In this 2nd video in a series of 4 about airfoils for SAE Aero Design and Design/Build/Fly, we cover various methods to import airfoils into SolidWorks in order to design the parts and assemblies of your aircraft.

In the 1st video, we were introduced to how airfoils are used on a full assembly of an airplane.
In the 3rd video, we will learn to physically interpret some performance characteristics of airfoils: Cl and Cd.
In the 4th video, we will learn to physically interpret the coefficient of moment Cm.
Look out for another series on airplane stability, where we apply what we've learned about Cm to qualitatively understand pitch stability in airplanes.

Bro, thanks for making these videos and sharing your knowledge with us. Your videos are very useful when trying to figure out how to design complex shapes that are based on calculated / equation driven curves,splines and airfoils. i.e. propeller blades, hydrokinetic turbine blades, wings, ship hulls, etc.
