I came across this video and THANK GOD I did! I listened to this course 3-4 times (at home, driving in the car, etc) over the weekend and took notes. On Monday, I PASSED on my first attempt! I wish she was still alive today because I would definitely thank her for explaining everything in an easy-to-remember format. Yes a few things are now outdated, however, I didn’t get any questions pertaining to specifics w/penalties $ amount. She was also right, don’t focus too much on the math, as I only had 2 math problems. Needless to say, this course helped and I hope it helps the next person too! @@rfranklin999 my apologies for the delayed reply. I took the required pre-licensing course, but to be honest this exam review stuck with me the most. I purchased flash cards, made my own, but I don’t feel as if I learned enough to prepare me for the exam, so I opted to find something else (without paying more $) and this is the one! The way she explains it makes it so much easier to memorize.

Just took my exam today and passed with a 75% !! First try !! This video is a gold mine. Thank you and Rest in Paradise Atricia. All I did was take theCEshop course which I finished a little over 2 months ago and did not touch , then suddenly watched this video , wrote EVERYTHING in my notebook , rewatched sections while driving to work , studied my notebook , a few quizlets , and took the practice exams from The CE shop , but I only studied for about 2 or so weeks before I took it ! But what was the most important factor without a shadow of a doubt was God . My 75% score is a testament ! Have faith in God and with His strength you can do all things . Can’t describe how crucial of a factor He was throughout the whole process and I wouldn’t have passed without my faith !! God is the way ! Always !! God bless all of you guys on your journeys ! @@lukasbelletete9 about 4-5 or so for me, but all we’re pretty much about front-end (housing expense ratio) and back-end (Debt-to-Income ratio) ratios, so they were pretty easy. I’m pretty sure you can’t be given more than 7 or so , so try not to worry about math too much like how Atricia said in the video

I only had 1 or 2 math problems. Make sure you know the laws inside and out. Thank you for this video. Praise God!! I passed the test yesterday with 80%!!! I did an online course back in Oct 2023 & finally decided to schedule my exam. I was looking on RUclips for a video to help me prepare for the exam & came across this, thank you Mrs. Articia!! This is all I studied. I took notes, made flashcards and listened to it a few times. The test was hard not going to lie! All her tips came in handy. They did have a few questions about flood insurance and coverage requirements, so I also suggest to study that beside this video. But I can say 1000% this video prepared me and help me pass. RIP Mrs. Articia, you made a difference in so many lives.
Was there questions on the test about any clauses for you? I’m freaking out bc my LO friends are telling me that the MEC course was sufficient and I’ll be fine but I joined the MLO study buddy group and I hear a bunch of borrow stories about people failing multiple times and that the 20hr course is not enough and all this and all that and
@@KRVKENx The 20 hr course is very thorough. Which can make it challenging to prepare for the exam because it is so so much information to try to remember. This is why is video is an amazing tool to help you pass the NMLS exam. The only topic that she did not cover that the exam did have a few questions about was Flood insurance. Everything else I felt totally prepared by all of the information given on this video. Just like Mrs. Articia says, they do try to trick you in the wording of the questions. So just read carefully each question but you will have enough time. I had about 20 minutes left after I finished all 120 questions and reviewed a few I flagged. You can do it!!! Rooting for you!!

I watched this video about 9 times. Took notes. I knew I was ready when I started scoring 80+ on practice tests. Master reading the question to really understand what they’re asking. My study course had flash cards when I could recall about 85% of the answers correctly I knew I was understanding it.
Thanks be to God I passed my test today with a 78% on the first try, after studying intensively for a week. I found this video a couple of days ago. Stumbled across this days before my exam and i believe it made the difference. Her teaching style helped me better understand all of the material and she provided the context in a "to the point" style that others couldn't. Just left the test center with a passing 80% grade. I found out Artricia had passed a couple years ago so i hope she was able to see the positive affect she continues to bring us from a higher place 🙏

@@Anissalmhello - I saw your question…I took the exam yesterday and it was not hard if you know the material. This video does a great job at explaining so that you can understand the material. For me it was a lot of scenarios and I just need to apply the concepts. 3 math problems….don’t waste time on math instead focus on the material. Lots of question on Federal Law. Good luck.

I passed my test today on my first attempt. This video is great. But go over her other videos from Affinity Real Estate as well, as she explains ARMs, flood insurance(amounts are old, find the updated ones), her flash cards and pop quizzes. But before taking the actual test go over at least 2 sets of prep tests so you can experience the exam and learn from all the questions you got wrong. you should be able to pass. She covers it all. You are a beautiful Soul Artricia. Rest in peace .
I would be remiss to not comment on how helpful this video is. I passed my exam on the first try last week. Watched this video 3 times and took a bunch of questions. Only prepped 6 days for this exam. This lady is a gift and after reading these comments it appears that she has passed away. If that is true may she rest in paradise. I just took the test. I didnt study after the 20 hour course. I took several tests from CompuCram and all the tests did was condition me to their repetitive questions. I never got above 75% from what I learned, but more so what I memorized. I only did that about 3 times. But THEN I watched this video twice. Each time stopping at every regulation to make sure I understood what she was saying. Once I understood the concepts and her emphasis on what I needed to pass the exam, I'd move on to the next topic on the video, remembering key points as I went. I got an 80%. I graded exceptional on federal and moderate everywhere else. THANK YOU!!!

@meganhullett2761 Hello, yes. The information can be outdated, and it is said in the video. It teaches you enough to pass. Funny thing is even if we go by actual numbers say for debt to income, for example. There is a lot more leniency in today's world and you can almost always find a way out of situations with proper documentation.
I passed the test on June 19 with a score of 80%, and a few days later, I got my NMLS license 🎉. All thanks to Artricia! Without this course, I probably wouldn’t have passed on the first attempt, especially since I was balancing a job and a side business along with test preparation. My advice to everyone: schedule your test within two weeks after finishing mortgage school while the material is still fresh in your mind. I took mine two months later and had to relearn everything. I was most worried about the federal part and focused on that. Thanks to Artricia, I scored well on that section, but to my surprise, I struggled with the products and general knowledge, which I thought I knew best. Don’t be overconfident-study all sections equally. Thank you, God, for helping me and allowing me to become a mortgage professional! Thanks again to Artricia for such an amazing video course. Hello Atricia, the way you explained it was so easy to understand. I took the 20hrs with oncourse and the instructor basically ran through it very quick via zoom. I was still at a lost. I don't recommend oncourse for the 20 hrs. To anyone taking NMLS, if you listen to how Atricia explained it you'll pass. Just listen to this a few times. Don't stress to much on the math. I had like less than 5 math questions. Like Atricia said don't focus to much on the math. I passed on the 1st try with a 78% yesterday. Thank you Atricia. I hope you're doing well in heaven. R.i.p.
Just passed the exam on my first try this week. I have no doubt that watching these videos played a huge part in that. Watch all her videos and watch this particular one twice. Take notes. Make flash cards. You have to understand the material, otherwise you will not pass. Memorizing things is just not enough. Pair these videos with Compucram’s test prep and keep taking the practice questions and exams until Compucram tells you you’re 100% ready on their meter. Do this and commit to a couple hours of study per day for 2-3 weeks and you should be golden. RIP Artricia and thank you!
I Passed my exam today on 1st try and all beacuse of this video.... Make as much notes as possible from here. I got 7 math problem, 6 questions related with Loan Estimate, 4 Q were realted to QM. While I didn’t take my classes through Affinity and I wish I had, I stumbled across this video and let me tell you…. What a game changer. I took the exam last month and got a 74. I just took it today and got an 84. The difference: this video. I watched it 3 times the past 3 days along with other study materials however everything I was presented with in the exam, I remembered from this video. I highly suggest this video to be watched 2-3 times before your exam and also study other materials. Thank you for this video. It made such a difference. I’m a certified appraiser in GA since 2006. And let me tell you. No matter what industry you are in, you NEED THIS VIDEO.

87%. I also took compucram, I needed the combo. I'd recommend both. Some of the questions were word for word the way she said they'd be. Her 'TILA the Godzilla' and 'B equal' for ECOA, etc is the ONLY reason I remembered those Reg's. I'll never forget them, either. She was a great teacher, I learned more (or at least retained more) from this 4 hour video than my 20 hour class. ....It is sad that she has passed, I wonder what happened. It was hard to forget as she coughed though the whole video.
@@kingzq6784 Do you have compucram/prepxl? Those practice tests are literally harder than the actual exam. I thought I failed all of them. But I knew I passed the real test. I got the lowest score on the Laws. Then ethics. Do I know what is discrimination and what isn't? yes, Do I know which exact law governs every little thing? (and what Reg they are called?) no. When in doubt go w/Tila the Godzilla. I downloaded this then listened to it 4-5 times and just kept doing those practice tests. If it was one or the other I'd have to go w/the practice tests.

Passed with a 93% today and this video was an immense help. The way she phrases the questions are very similar to how they're written on the test. Regarding the content of the test, definitely focus more on the concepts and less on memorizing the ratios and penalties. A lot of the questions are very situational and not something you could look up if you didn't already know the answer. Good luck!

Took the test August 2024. Video helps out a lot. Passed the test just studying off all the slides in the video. Wrote all the slides down then rewrote the info onto flash cards. Watched video twice.

I took and passed the MLO test today in my 1st attempt. Watch this multiple times and memorized it. I highly recommend it. Woods has great teaching methods; straight to the point and great anecdotes that helped me remember the info.

Like most people in the comments I only have wonderful things to say. The first time I took the exam about 6 weeks ago I failed by 4 points. When I began to study again, I found this video and just watched it over and over again. Usually primarily this video as a guide. I retook the exam today and passed with a 79! I am so thankful that I found the is video, it is a great tool!

I've been in this business a long time but haven't personally originated since the licensing requirement was just a state real estate license. I found this just 2 days before my exam and passed first try at 86%. I wish I would have found this to use as a study guide weeks prior. Artricia is an angel and makes things so easy to remember, things that we don't do or have to know in the daily grind of this business. Just an FYI, I think my exam had a total of 3 math problems that required the calculator provided but a TON of federal law. Good luck all and RIP Artricia...prayers up to you! 🙏

This 4hr video is what I mainly studied from. I played it for the week took notes, read them, then watched the video again throughout the week. There’s a 35 min video she had on the math part only. I watched that one only on my way to the exam and when I was in the waiting room waiting to be checked in. And when I sat for the exam I wrote down all the formulas I had remembered on the sheet they provided before starting the exam. But all the info I believe is in this video too. If you’re here you’ll pass.

Took the exam on August 15, 2024. Passed with a 80% second try. This video is key to understanding the material of the exam. As well as taking multiple Prep Xl exams and passing with a 90% or better on all the exams. ( This video is still very effective in 2024)

I came across this video and THANK GOD I did! I listened to this course 3-4 times (at home, driving in the car, etc) over the weekend and took notes. On Monday, I PASSED on my first attempt! I wish she was still alive today because I would definitely thank her for explaining everything in an easy-to-remember format. Yes a few things are now outdated, however, I didn’t get any questions pertaining to specifics w/penalties $ amount. She was also right, don’t focus too much on the math, as I only had 2 math problems. Needless to say, this course helped and I hope it helps the next person too! @@rfranklin999 my apologies for the delayed reply. I took the required pre-licensing course, but to be honest this exam review stuck with me the most. I purchased flash cards, made my own, but I don’t feel as if I learned enough to prepare me for the exam, so I opted to find something else (without paying more $) and this is the one! The way she explains it makes it so much easier to memorize.

Just took my exam today and passed with a 75% !! First try !! This video is a gold mine. Thank you and Rest in Paradise Atricia. All I did was take theCEshop course which I finished a little over 2 months ago and did not touch , then suddenly watched this video , wrote EVERYTHING in my notebook , rewatched sections while driving to work , studied my notebook , a few quizlets , and took the practice exams from
The CE shop , but I only studied for about 2 or so weeks before I took it ! But what was the most important factor without a shadow of a doubt was God . My 75% score is a testament ! Have faith in God and with His strength you can do all things . Can’t describe how crucial of a factor He was throughout the whole process and I wouldn’t have passed without my faith !! God is the way ! Always !! God bless all of you guys on your journeys ! You can do it !!!

@@lukasbelletete9 about 4-5 or so for me, but all we’re pretty much about front-end (housing expense ratio) and back-end (Debt-to-Income ratio) ratios, so they were pretty easy. I’m pretty sure you can’t be given more than 7 or so , so try not to worry about math too much like how Atricia said in the video

Thank God, I just passed my test on the first try today with an 89!!! This video was huge in helping me prepare. I listened to it several times. She is right not to waste too much time on the math. I only had 1 or 2 math problems. Make sure you know the laws inside and out. Thank you for this video. Praise God!! I passed the test yesterday with 80%!!! I did an online course back in Oct 2023 & finally decided to schedule my exam. I was looking on RUclips for a video to help me prepare for the exam & came across this, thank you Mrs. Articia!! This is all I studied. I took notes, made flashcards and listened to it a few times. The test was hard not going to lie! All her tips came in handy. They did have a few questions about flood insurance and coverage requirements, so I also suggest to study that beside this video. But I can say 1000% this video prepared me and help me pass. RIP Mrs. Articia, you made a difference in so many lives.
Was there questions on the test about any clauses for you? I’m freaking out bc my LO friends are telling me that the MEC course was sufficient and I’ll be fine but I joined the MLO study buddy group and I hear a bunch of borrow stories about people failing multiple times and that the 20hr course is not enough and all this and all that and
@@KRVKENx The 20 hr course is very thorough. Which can make it challenging to prepare for the exam because it is so so much information to try to remember. This is why is video is an amazing tool to help you pass the NMLS exam. The only topic that she did not cover that the exam did have a few questions about was Flood insurance. Everything else I felt totally prepared by all of the information given on this video. Just like Mrs. Articia says, they do try to trick you in the wording of the questions. So just read carefully each question but you will have enough time. I had about 20 minutes left after I finished all 120 questions and reviewed a few I flagged. You can do it!!! Rooting for you!!

I watched this video about 9 times. Took notes. I knew I was ready when I started scoring 80+ on practice tests. Master reading the question to really understand what they’re asking. My study course had flash cards when I could recall about 85% of the answers correctly I knew I was understanding it.

Stumbled across this days before my exam and i believe it made the difference. Her teaching style helped me better understand all of the material and she provided the context in a "to the point" style that others couldn't. Just left the test center with a passing 80% grade. I found out Artricia had passed a couple years ago so i hope she was able to see the positive affect she continues to bring us from a higher place 🙏

For me it was a lot of scenarios and I just need to apply the concepts. 3 math problems….don’t waste time on math instead focus on the material. Lots of question on Federal Law. Good luck.

I passed my test today on my first attempt. This video is great. But go over her other videos from Affinity Real Estate as well, as she explains ARMs, flood insurance(amounts are old, find the updated ones), her flash cards and pop quizzes. But before taking the actual test go over at least 2 sets of prep tests so you can experience the exam and learn from all the questions you got wrong. you should be able to pass. She covers it all. You are a beautiful Soul Artricia. Rest in peace .
I would be remiss to not comment on how helpful this video is. I passed my exam on the first try last week. Watched this video 3 times and took a bunch of questions. Only prepped 6 days for this exam. This lady is a gift and after reading these comments it appears that she has passed away. If that is true may she rest in paradise. If she was still here I would’ve told her how much of a blessing she is.

I just took the test. I didnt study after the 20 hour course. I took several tests from CompuCram and all the tests did was condition me to their repetitive questions. I never got above 75% from what I learned, but more so what I memorized.
I only did that about 3 times.
But THEN I watched this video twice. Each time stopping at every regulation to make sure I understood what she was saying. Once I understood the concepts and her emphasis on what I needed to pass the exam, I'd move on to the next topic on the video, remembering key points as I went.
I got an 80%. I graded exceptional on federal and moderate everywhere else.

I am working for a home loan team. I was working with them prior, bringing in business while I was getting my license.
In one of the Facebook groups they always say that these videos have out of date information and shouldn’t be used. Did you find that to be true?
@meganhullett2761 Hello, yes. The information can be outdated, and it is said in the video. It teaches you enough to pass. Funny thing is even if we go by actual numbers say for debt to income, for example. There is a lot more leniency in today's world and you can almost always find a way out of situations with proper documentation.
But I didn’t get passing score😢
I passed the test on June 19 with a score of 80%, and a few days later, I got my NMLS license 🎉. All thanks to Artricia! Without this course, I probably wouldn’t have passed on the first attempt, especially since I was balancing a job and a side business along with test preparation.
My advice to everyone: schedule your test within two weeks after finishing mortgage school while the material is still fresh in your mind. I took mine two months later and had to relearn everything. I was most worried about the federal part and focused on that. Thanks to Artricia, I scored well on that section, but to my surprise, I struggled with the products and general knowledge, which I thought I knew best. Don’t be overconfident-study all sections equally.

Hello Atricia, the way you explained it was so easy to understand. I took the 20hrs with oncourse and the instructor basically ran through it very quick via zoom. I was still at a lost. I don't recommend oncourse for the 20 hrs. To anyone taking NMLS, if you listen to how Atricia explained it you'll pass. Just listen to this a few times. Don't stress to much on the math. I had like less than 5 math questions. Like Atricia said don't focus to much on the math. I passed on the 1st try with a 78% yesterday. Thank you Atricia. I hope you're doing well in heaven. R.i.p.

Just passed the exam on my first try this week. I have no doubt that watching these videos played a huge part in that. Watch all her videos and watch this particular one twice. Take notes. Make flash cards. You have to understand the material, otherwise you will not pass. Memorizing things is just not enough. Pair these videos with Compucram’s test prep and keep taking the practice questions and exams until Compucram tells you you’re 100% ready on their meter. Do this and commit to a couple hours of study per day for 2-3 weeks and you should be golden. RIP Artricia and thank you!

I got 7 math problem, 6 questions related with Loan Estimate, 4 Q were realted to QM. Take Every word she says seriously. Even the one she said about that extra time you will have after completing the test... I went through this video multiple times.

The difference: this video. I watched it 3 times the past 3 days along with other study materials however everything I was presented with in the exam, I remembered from this video.

What really changed from the material on this video so I can study
87%. I also took compucram, I needed the combo. I'd recommend both. Some of the questions were word for word the way she said they'd be. Her 'TILA the Godzilla' and 'B equal' for ECOA, etc is the ONLY reason I remembered those Reg's. I'll never forget them, either. She was a great teacher, I learned more (or at least retained more) from this 4 hour video than my 20 hour class. ....It is sad that she has passed, I wonder what happened. It was hard to forget as she coughed though the whole video.

@@kingzq6784 Do you have compucram/prepxl? Those practice tests are literally harder than the actual exam. I thought I failed all of them. But I knew I passed the real test. I got the lowest score on the Laws. Then ethics. Do I know what is discrimination and what isn't? yes, Do I know which exact law governs every little thing? (and what Reg they are called?) no. When in doubt go w/Tila the Godzilla.
I downloaded this then listened to it 4-5 times and just kept doing those practice tests. If it was one or the other I'd have to go w/the practice tests.

Zones A & V are in high risk areas, flood insurance is required.

Passed with a 93% today and this video was an immense help. The way she phrases the questions are very similar to how they're written on the test. Regarding the content of the test, definitely focus more on the concepts and less on memorizing the ratios and penalties. A lot of the questions are very situational and not something you could look up if you didn't already know the answer. Good luck!

I just passed my exam today!!! 78% on my first try!! I had a lot going on as we all do but this video is a lifesaver and she was an gifted teacher!!
Like most people in the comments I only have wonderful things to say. The first time I took the exam about 6 weeks ago I failed by 4 points. When I began to study again, I found this video and just watched it over and over again. Usually primarily this video as a guide. I retook the exam today and passed with a 79! I am so thankful that I found the is video, it is a great tool!

I just passed today with an 86% on my first try. It took me 10 days to complete 20 hours and past the state exam. This video is a must-watch-it’s the ultimate study resource for this topic. I've been in this business a long time but haven't personally originated since the licensing requirement was just a state real estate license. I found this just 2 days before my exam and passed first try at 86%. I wish I would have found this to use as a study guide weeks prior. Artricia is an angel and makes things so easy to remember, things that we don't do or have to know in the daily grind of this business. Just an FYI, I think my exam had a total of 3 math problems that required the calculator provided but a TON of federal law. Good luck all and RIP Artricia...prayers up to you! 🙏

JUST passed my exam 81% first try. I did the Affinity 20 hr pre-licensing course last week AND just listened (and took notes) on this exam prep course. Artricia, thank you for all you did and I hope and pray your legacy lives on to inspire and help many others!

Just passed my test today with an 85% second try this video and all her subsequent videos saved me. This video has so much amazing info. If you wanna pass the test, watch this, make flash cards, then watch again and listen to her explanations.
This 4 hours crash course was better than the 20 hours pre-licensing education I took. I passed on my first try with a 91%

Took the test and passed the test on the first try. Could not have done without this video! I watched it the first time, took screenshots, reviewed the screenshots and then watched the video two more times at 1.5 speed! 3 weeks of preparation but made sure I understand the contents in the video A to Z!

@@rambaan2615 I had real estate background. So, 3-4 weeks was enough for me. I think the exam was pretty tough.

what other videos of hers did you use to study ?
This 4hr video is what I mainly studied from. I played it for the week took notes, read them, then watched the video again throughout the week. There’s a 35 min video she had on the math part only. I watched that one only on my way to the exam and when I was in the waiting room waiting to be checked in. And when I sat for the exam I wrote down all the formulas I had remembered on the sheet they provided before starting the exam. But all the info I believe is in this video too. If you’re here you’ll pass.

May Ms. Artricia rest in peace and God bless her soul. I passed on first try with 86%. I completed the oncourse learning 20 hours course but I wasn’t getting it until I ran across her videos. In one week I was able to pass… only with the help of her wonderful videos.

Took the exam on August 15, 2024. Passed with a 80% second try. This video is key to understanding the material of the exam. As well as taking multiple Prep Xl exams and passing with a 90% or better on all the exams. ( This video is still very effective in 2024)

I just passed today with an 84% I listened to this video 4 times and a huge part of my test was from this video. Only 2 math questions on my exam, don’t stress the math like she said! Good luck everyone!

@sap813 I ended up getting an 87%, this helped but I wouldn't really just focus on this. Watch it twice and pick up a book or 2 and take a few practice tests.
