This was so informative . Over the last 5-10 years I’ve been on a Ponte, Jersey , stretch kick . But it’s FL , and my knit garments stick to ya , and it’s a brutal summer. I’ve gone out and bought a couple nice linen fabrics to try and cool myself down! This was perfect timing !!

What kind of sewing thread do you use for sewing linen?
I love to use linen. To me natural fabrics are the best and i try to avoid synthetics if possible. I also like to make things from upcycled fabrics too so they can be used but depends what for.

How much ease do I need to allow for linen tailored look slacks?
God I hate working with linen. I don't know why but I have an issue with it staying still.
Use tissue paper on the needle side.
