I am a meitei from Imphal, when my 7 yrs old daughter asked will she still see her kuki friend when her school reopens i have tears in my eyes, like her i have many kuki friends. When Prof Bimol said "it hurts" we can all feel it. We common and ignorant people are just blaming and hating each other while the Government watch it silently.

Now I am convinced that the current conflict in Manipur is hugely influenced by the government. Modi keeping silent is the biggest eye opening thing! He has proven that he is silently watching as it is his political game plan. In the midst of this political game Meiteis and Kukis are losing innocent lives everyday! Our civilians are used as their tools/weapons for the political game. We all need to come together and fight with the government rather than fighting between us. My brothers Kukis, Nagas and Meiteis, Meitei Pangals and Nepalese and more, I am sure we can live happily together again if this dirty political game is cleansed! We can clean this together. Can we stop fighting and instead can we fight with this dirty government? I am hurt like Dr. Bimol and aren't you hurt? Just 2 months before this crisis, I met one of my all-time best friend, my vaiphei classmate, after 12 long years as he was posted outside. Both of us were nostalgic, we talked, laughed together, and felt nothing has changed in both of us. But this crisis snatched all those silent smiles, now I don't know how to call him or what to say and talked about. Only I could pray for his well beings in silence. This interview gives us a ray of hope. We want peace and only peace.....

I wouldn't say the same thing for Mr Thapar. Mr Thapar being Mr Thapar, he loves interrupting if his guests stray away from his pre-conceived narrative. Key takeaways:
      1. Prof. Bimol: The Meitei's demand for ST is not so much to go and buy tribal land but to protect the valley area. If it's not scheduled, outsiders will overwhelm the valley - Tribal lands are already well protected. (Timestamp 20:20)
      2. The same mechanism which is being implemented in Mizoram to check on infiltrators should also be extended to Manipur. (Very legit point)
And Thapar being Thapar, he tried to put words in Prof. Bimol's mouth. Thapar vehemently tries to deny the infiltrators based on Haokip's interview.
Prof.Bimol will not fall into his trap and responded with: "What makes you believe Haokip more than the other allegations? You tend to take on face value what Haokip says; but other allegations, you dismiss them?" (Timestamp 41:00 onwards) 🤭🤭
And lastly when Prof. Akoijam gets emotional on Modi's indifference and said "it hurts". He doesn't try to be biased like any of the Kuki brethens. He spits facts.
Urging the Kuki brethens to please understand the Meiteis' plight for the ST inclusion and the fight to curbing the infiltrators.
Let's work towards keeping ur homeland safe and prosperous. Peace out. 🙏

To know the real truth we should open our minds to listen to both sides of the coin to understand the situation. Small and poor states are fighting and dying and our PM did not utter a words. It seems he is not a PM for people but he is a PM for cows. we should immediately stop giving votes to this old stupid PM. No one has any proof that there is infiltration from Myanmar. Before this allegations, Meitei had a problem of alleged influx of labourers from Bihar, Bengal, UP, Marwaris, etc. Meitei killed few of them too to scare them away. It failed. After that, the state was peaceful until the present meitei CM came into the picture and started maligning the Kukis by calling us immigrants, refugees, etc. This was not new to Nagas, in fact, to malign us, it was the manipuri nagas to call us like that as we have a overlapping territorial claims between us. But it was new to the meiteis. The meiteis happily began to accept this false narrative of the nagas through the meitei cm biren singh. Biren is to be blame for his undiplomatic speech & behaviour. According to 1901 census, kukis constitute about 14.5% of the population and today it is 16% which is natural. So, stop this false narrative if meitei wants a peaceful life. Biren is like a Hitler who repeated a lie thousand times against the Jews till the German people accepted the lies. Be sensible meitei peoples.
