Couple deep cuts: Big tuna layback front boarded it Blake Spencer front blunted it Mike Green layback barleyed the tiny 8 rail AA caveman nosegrind the flat out front and annihilated the 6 rail back in the day Donny Duhadaway did something too I just can’t remember I need some help from the bros on this one
Yes! Andrew Allen switch bigspin fs board down the 6 rail in 411vm 65 Hot wheels part! I think he did more tricks too but I can’t remember or find them but maybe you can haha!
This channel has quickly become one of my favorites to check out after work. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!! I especially loved the one with Corey Duffel, as I lived by the Walnut Creek skatepark and got to meet see him skate in person. I am from Michigan/Ohio originally.
Rob Pace going up that rail with knobs is a trick to remember for sure! Another awesome spot history video! Thank you Dern brothers for putting the effort into making this awesome content!
I liked how you guys are slowly adding new things since the first ones. Like normally it gets lame when someone changes it but fr you guys adding the skaters on zoom or FaceTime and having them tell you about the trick and the battle. Or having some skaters meet you guys there at the spots. Shit is getting so good man. Keep it up. Clearly you guys have a vision and it’s authentic asf. Hats off to you guys and keep it up. You have a lifetime subscriber and a recent merch purchase now so if I spend any of my hard earned money on ANYTHING that should tell you guys I’m down for the get down and hopefully everyone will get on board or a board again because of these videos!
i know yall upload every Wednesday, but I always forget and when I logon to youtube with my meal for the evening after work and get to watch these, its truly a pleasure.
Never stop the skate spot history videos. This is the most pro-level education available out there right now. Actually feels like im learning some skate history
Hey there! first off I wanna say thank you for making these videos, not only am I remembering these clips as you show them but also seeing some I never have before too! its truly an awesome segment that's putting us all back into our childhood. I'd say check out Miraleste Middle School in Palos Verdes it was one of the most infamous schools to skate in the 2000s. There's a 10 stair, 5 flat 5 (Antwuan Dixon killed both of these in baker 3), a massive parking lot gap, and there used to be a 9 stair hand rail in the back that everyone got clips on. One day someone hit the janitor in the head with the truck of their skateboard so the school knobbed everything including the ground to the stairs. But someone de knobbed some of the spots when I went to middle school there... Wonder who that could've been... Hahaha! Since then its been hit by Chris Joslin, some of the baker team, and numerous others. There's even 3 rails in front, the one near the marauder sign was hit by David Gonzales, and the other one by the brick building has a 2 stair flat rail that drops off about 10 feet down, over a curb, and into the street David Lutheren hit it in a Thrasher Magazine Toy Machine ad around 2010. Would love to see the actual footage of that one and what other clips y'all could find from around my middle school!
Thats awesome footy of the el toro lipslide kanaan did i never saw it on a montage or anything heath kircharts middle rail was groundbreaking in the end birdhouse film. Kanaans looked way different and quite fast and clean. of course heath’s was slowed down and filmed from mid stairs so it looked different
Rob Pace is on a rapid pace of becoming my top 10 skaters to watch. He’s literally killing it and I’m 35 yrs old wondering why I haven’t been following this dude more.
22:22 bro, listen to how both of their laughs are like exactly the same, pitch and the inhale at the end... crazy. I never had a brother. Wish I had and older one who was less afraid of skating and pushed me to try harder when I was young.
I love this series. Great editing and highlighting of the spots and tricks. A 24 min video ended up being a 40 minute watch because I kept slowing down the playback speed and rewatching the footage. Thanks, dern bros ✌🏻
Dude that was nuts. That footage shows you how it would actually feel to grind it and the fact he gets that footage so clear and casually is like WHAT 😮 that’s El Toro, absolutely nothing causal about that.
You guys are legends, thanks for these series. There's always a clip or two I've never seen before in every episode. Boardslide up the knobs??? When did that happen and how did I miss that...
Couple deep cuts:
Big tuna layback front boarded it

Dang I’m definitely going to look these up! Great additions
@@DernBrothers update: can’t find any Donny clips yet, but Jake hill splatted trying to Ollie the 6 flat three at an angle
Yes! Andrew Allen switch bigspin fs board down the 6 rail in 411vm 65 Hot wheels part! I think he did more tricks too but I can’t remember or find them but maybe you can haha!
@@timlevangdamn bro, that brought back a flood of memories.

He filmed it himself too 🤯 Casual Kanaan selfie moment 😅
Another good one!
I love that you tell us about the tricks that have been done there and then you also skate it yourself. ❤🎉
Please keep making these vids.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Leo Remero do some tricks on the a frame rail as well. I could be wrong, but I’m almost positive he has some clips there.
