Recently I went on a trip to Ooty from Bangalore on my Triumph Speed. it was a fun ride. Mountains have tested my riding skills and my bike capabilities as well.

Few questions:
1. Which route did you take to go from Bangalore to Ooty? Can you please share a detailed route? (Bangalore, Mysore, Gundlupete, Bandipur, Masinagudi or Madumalai, etc)
2. Were you allowed to ride the bike on Bangalore-Mysuru Highway?
3. I am planning to go in August, will there be rains?
4. Any miscellaneous points that I should be aware about?
PS: I am also going to ride with my wife on Meteor 350.

1- Route which I took was Bangalore>Mysore>Bandipur
2- No bikes are not allowed on that road.
3- In recent news I heard that there was a land slide in Wayanad in which 63 people lost their lives so be careful as Ooty is also located in hilly areas.
4- Please take care of comfort for your pillion. If you have back rest it’s going to help her and would also recommend you to get air cushion for her.

Absolutely. Motor is very tractable and you will never feel that it’s lacking any power. A very enjoyable motor bike. 💯

It took me approx 8 hours with proper breaks.
Have you done anything for pillion comfort? I also own speed. Looking for solution
Till now I haven’t done anything however Triumph is offering a touring seat in accessories but they cost more than 7K and they are not available in their service centre till now so I’m thinking to get seat cushion from after market. 😊
which one is better? Speed 400 vs Scrambler 400?
I have not taken any test ride of scrambler 400 so I won’t be able to share my opinion on this bro.
One more question. Which tyre you got?
I have got Apollos in both rims.

Bhai ek he route h jo Acha mere according. Pehle Mysore fir Bandipur aur fir Ooty.
