I completely agree! I feel as though she was an ARTist down to the core, SM did not promote her at all and gave her a low budget for her debut, yet the quality of her EP was outstanding both instrumentally and lyrically. And a lot of it I think came from her really just being a genuine and ambitious person that had so much creativity to give. I wish people would talk about her in that aspect more and build a genuine love for her that’s not out of pity. She’s an amazing being.
Guys... this whole song is about suicide and how in the song she’s already dead “I want to go now” “free yourself from your cold body” “taking my fluttering color easily” “mom holding both hands stop praying” these are just a couple of examples but I feel so upset and frustrated that I wasn’t able to figure it before her passing. It’s very tragic but it’s more annoying and a bit mockeryish because I only understood the lyrics after her death. She was and still is such an angel, I don’t want you guys to feel upset but read the lyrics without the music just the lyrics, you’ll only fully understand her pain after reading the lyrics. If I recall correctly, a fan who attended the Peaches Goblin event stated that Sulli said that "On the Moon" was about a girl who lost her favorite doll. I'm having trouble finding the source, but that explains the literal description of a doll. Still, it's all too easy to read a metaphor for her own depression into it after she passed away, like a cry for help. Regardless, the lyrics from all three songs on Goblin could only have been written by someone who experienced a lifetime of pain. It's beautiful and heartbreaking, like Sulli herself.

If I recall correctly, a fan who attended the Peaches Goblin event stated that Sulli said that "On the Moon" was about a girl who lost her favorite doll. I'm having trouble finding the source, but that explains the literal description of a doll. Still, it's all too easy to read a metaphor for her own depression into it after she passed away, like a cry for help. Regardless, the lyrics from all three songs on Goblin could only have been written by someone who experienced a lifetime of pain. It's beautiful and heartbreaking, like Sulli herself.

every song on this ep has such a new and unique sound i never head her outside of a couple f(x) songs but her voice on top of these incredible beats just sounds magical
It just hits harder as the song progresses. Like the first song hooks you in and her voice hugs you throughout the entire song. And those lyrics are too sad to read alone :[

This song is so hauntingly beautiful. Everytime I think of the fact that these songs might have been a sign for us I can't help but cry. I was too dumb to think these were just lyrics, these were literally her feelings and all this while I fooled myself thinking this is just a song.

Sulli says to Goo Hara” Goo hara you said you wouldn’t come” Goo Hara responds with ” I changed my mind the last minute and I thought it would be best if we both were togheter. Goo hara and Sulli hug each other and they finally fly up to the moon where they will visit a friend and that friend is Jonghyun. Story says that thier souls wander through galaxy to explore new things. Thier souls will not be contained in another body. They will fly freely and protect us.
