This song itself contains so much depth and emotions, although the title might be quite contradictory and as through the lyrics there were words of positivity. The way that I see it is that he is trying to express himself to the person he loves. Every person has their own struggles they tend to not speak about so bravely, sometimes, they tend to keep it to themselves and cope with it alone rather than letting their love ones know about it. Through the words, "i'll be your enemy", it is his other form of saying i'll be by your side, but, in another way... this is so that person he cares about could show their 'true', 'real', 'unmasked' self to him as they will be regarding him as someone else (an enemy) and not a loved one. I can't explain it well, but this song had brought me so much comfort and warmth. The message of it can vary a lot depending on how listeners perceives it, however, with the songs melody, lyrics and Taemin's voice itself, it is completely healing.
