Lalaport was built on top of the former Pudu prison and before Pudu prison was built in 1891, it was a former Chinese cemetery site. It was last used as a prison in 1996, but was only demolished in 2009. our government wants to preserve it due to its historical value and open it for tourism, but not many tourists come. it used to have the longest mural in the world painted by a prisoner named Khong Yen Chong in 1984. he did not have time to complete it, but when he was released from prison, he came back to complete the mural voluntarily
@@Gymson you are right. some Malaysians think this mall is haunted, but it is not at all. personally, I like this mall which is less crowded than other nearby malls like Berjaya Times Square and Pavillion. FYI tomorrow TRX Exchange shopping mall will officially open to the public, another huge shopping mall nearby, Malaysia love to build shopping mall hahaha

@@audreyDsouza Haha yes, but it was super fancy event and to be fair they mostly stayed in air-conditioned rooms so It probably was okay for them. 😀 (outside probably was sweaty lol) I have tried some local dishes already, Me Goreng and Nasi Lemak most notable ones. I will have Video about Nasi Lemak coming out soon :). I do love spicy good, but spices are very new to me, so I'm beginner with this stuff for sure, but I love to experiment and challenge myself in that way 😀😀
I came to Australia to visit the zoo...you come to KL to visit the Cats Cafe. 😅😅😅 Well, i love cats too, have 3 actually..& I went to a cats cafe too in Seoul, Korea. ❤😻❤️ Nice vlog. Kipidap (keep it up, Malaysian way)! 😊👍
@@Gymson Many years ago, I had lots of visiting stray cats in my house area, sometimes they took shelter, sometimes I gave them food, sometimes they got into the house, sometimes they left their kittens in the house, sometimes they just want to play when I'm around, sometimes they just sleep, kind of fun to have them around every now and then. Few of them liked to stand behind me attentively when I spoke with my neighbors. I really like one white kitten who liked to play in the bushes of flowers. Thank you for this wonderful video. 😀
lalaport is japanese brand shopping mall. It doesnt attract many customers and visitors maybe bcos of the design, location history, aura / energy... but its one of the location to celebrate Japanese festival like Bon Ondori where many KL based Japanese youtubers & tiktokers do video there this year
