Oda Nobuo narrowly escaped the massacre, only to face the scathing rebuke of his father, Oda Nobunaga.
Nobunaga’s words cut deep, chastising his son for his failure to employ ninja to scout the enemy's strength and position. "Get shinobi," he commanded. "This one action alone will gain you a victory."
The Iga Shinobi had won the battle, but the war was far from over. They now had to face Oda Nobunaga himself. Oda Nobuo had orchestrated the first assault entirely without his father’s assistance.
Now, The Demon King Oda Nobunaga was not going to let his clan's name be disgraced. Unlike his son, he was an experienced master of warfare and would spend the next two years gathering a huge force of forty thousand samurai to finish the job.
