HELP! considering starting learn Blender,
Is there actually a demand for such a skill? I mean, it's impressive and captivating, but can you imagine someone coming to you and asking you to create a poly work in Blender?
Well, that's how I partially make my living, so yes, I can imagine :)
@@polygonrunway Thank for replying, but you are a walking proven that it's more about freelancering I'm asking about the demand as employee in some companies I barley see companies that need this skill with the exception of Pixar, Disney et cetra
@@yofi2614 You might have had your answer already, but just in case: yes, there is a demand for this kind of 3D modeling in the industry. While I'd absolutely recommend going all the way when it comes to 3D modeling as it opens far more opportunities than cartoony/low poly work (such as product rendering, which requires convincing levels of realism), you can still be hired for animation or game development related companies.
I do recommend freelancing, though, specially when you're first starting, as most companies allow you to share your work for them (as that's technically marketing), meaning you get to expand your portfolio, get experience and be paid all at once before settling in a company.
