Yea, I actually think Goku should have thought of higher gravity early on due to the Time Chamber. Say he asks Kami why it felt so heavy in there, then boom, he learns of gravity. Also, if goku gets stronger,Piccolo would also start training. The only reason why Piccolo didn't train as much in cannon was that there was no need. his power level was already close to goku. All he needed was to create an attack that goku couldn't stop, hence the Special Beam Cannon. Otherwise, you have seen his growth in saiyan Saga. He also has great potential. Also, bulma might not be as angry as chi chi, but she still wouldn't let goku train that much, especially during the first few years after gohan's birth.So, at best goku would be at 50,000 Your content is amazing, tho 🫡🫡 What if piccolo had a son during saiyan saga
@@madarauchiha7034 You have a couple points, but not all. Motivation does play a key role in power growth, yes, but the means of training will also be based on other factors just as much so. Even the fact that it's a story has an impact on their strength, it's just that Dragon Ball is really good at making that also fit in with the canonicity. Everybody's a prodigy. But, I need you to clarify which power boost you think was too large, because I think I recall two jumps being immediately questionable. A factor about Bulma that I think everyone ignores is that Vegeta never actually pushes Trunks to train at the age he's at. Regardless of why is irrelevant, because the point is that we don't ACTUALLY know how Bulma would act there. We just theorize she's a lot more lenient because of Vegeta and Trunks' interactions. You have to still factor in that regardless of their feelings for each other, she allowed an ex-mass murderer still raise his son. I still highly doubt she would have an issue with her son training at such a low age as long as the explanation is there. I think without any at all she would flip immediately though.

The show would have been far better had Goku married anyone besides Chi Chi. Okay, maybe not ANYONE, but after seeing Bulma and 18's versions, I'm convinced of this.
Okay. I’m about 10 minutes in and I’m enjoying the story. It’s cohesive and makes logical sense. However I have to say the backgrounds aren’t moving a lot and it feels a little empty at times. I feel a lot of inspiration from the RUclipsr salad saiyan with you. What makes his content so good is that there is both visual and audio content. Maybe work on your editing to make the backgrounds a lot flashier. As for your audio. My only complaint is that you are rather quiet. I’m sure this will come with time however maybe practice speaking a bit louder. Other than that. Very nice indeed. I can see a rising star forming. My only griff with the story is about the gravity training. As sure Goku knows from the room of spirit and time. But would he or bulma have the idea to create said gravity room. As the idea was only brought up after Goku learned at king Kai’s about 10x G and vegeta mentioning earth gravity is weak. But good stuff. Keep working hard!

Considering the fact that in dbz the reason goku had a plv of 90000-100000 when he came to namak was becuse when he started his gravity training his plv was 9000 and his plv in this was probebly like in the 500 range meaning his plv in the start should be like 5000 or if goku did the same training again after doing gravity training and getting a plv of 5000 then it should be 50000
Gohan should stay the same in design with the change of the color to light purple, other than that this different story should be made into a different yet similar series, with goku married with bulma. Who not only is more beautiful than chichi but is also adventures not to mention a genius
Technically the story ends at Android Saga, Goku contracts the heart virus and with no Future Trunks to give him the mcguffin (The Future Medicine for said Heart Virus), Goku dies and the story ends there. Everything else is wilful fanservice.
For the record i'm willing to suspend dissbelief about the Rules of the Namekian Dragonballs and say that Frieza was able to coerece a Namekian into making the wish for him because without the interference of the Z-Fighters and Vegeta there would be no real sense of urgency and Frieza and his Army could theoretically go about their business at leisure. However you're skipping over some very real canon that regardless of what you would like to happen with various character beats would still take place. Goku and Krillin would still be best friends, and yet Krillin is basically woefully left out of the story, they'd still all be friends and have get togethers - So the Z-Fighters all would've still showed up to the battle with the Saiyans. The difference here is given Goku's strength he would have ultimately ensured nobody died to the Saiba-Men, because Vegeta would've used them as a pleasant distraction as he did in the original series. I do like that you didn't use the death of a character to do the Power Increase of Super Saiyan, that's actually a really interesting theory - powering up in the fight with a new Piccolo that I genuinely like the arc of. I also like your story after the Android Saga, it's interesting, I disagree with it happening as Goku would be dead, but I do understand that for your premise you cant kill off the MC - and I would also disagree with Bulma being able to have crated the heart medication, Bulma in this timeline is no different to Bulma in the original continuity - she would have no reason to put her time and effort into this medicine. We don't even know who made it in the original continuity but we do know it wasn't until long after Goku was dead. For me I would've gone with Goku being dead and this spurring Gohan on to become the MC - that's more logical.
He wouldn't have reached that power level keep in mind after he recovered from his fight with Vegeta before he left earth he got a zenki the was pretty big the he trained in 100 times gravity after that and that's why he reached that level
Not really butterfly effects can make things happen widely different and cause characters to change . Say hypothetical goku had ultra instinct in the saiyan saga. Vegeta character would be so widely different it wouldn't be funny
I would disagree. Consider if Goku has access to God ki since OG DB. That would make Goku so OP that Radotz with be dirt, Vegeta would be nothing, and with a long enough time for training would slam Beerus. Canon events just would not happen in certain what-if scenarios.

Guess I'll add why I don't think Goku would be as OP as presented. 1. It took him some time getting acclimated to King Kai's 10x gravity, and Goku had a more durable spirit body. 2. I always thought it took access to the Namek tech to create both the ship and the gravity room as they'd never done it before. 3. As we see in the ToP and to a lesser extent earlier, Saiyans tend to rise to the challenge. There was no greater challenge than Freeza and no challenge during the time skip. Vegeta during the 7 years after Cell trained hard enough with gravity access to reach SSJ2 but it still wasn't enough to catch spirit Goku at SSJ2 without Majin boost. So yeah, Goku would be a lot stronger but not at the level he is. Not really a critcism, but you mentioned you didn't want to have an OP Goku so some reasons it could have been toned down.

I will say I disagree with Goku's base power not reaching Freeza's final form until Super. I more chalk this up to Toriyama being away from the series for nearly two decades and forgetting key details of the story. It's not really consistent when a weakened base Goku was still able to struggle against Kid Buu in a Spirit Bomb struggle. I think he would've been flattened easily with Beerus' take.

4:20 so hard disagree here. I'm 88% sure that Goku only asked about Gravity Training due to the fact that he trained on King Kai's planet, and learned how beneficial it was there. Nothing in DB or Z implies he thought of it earlier. It's also a thing in Z that characters only ever push to a lot greater power when prepping for some sort of threat, almost like power levels aren't possible to reach until the are able to conceive of it. I'm sort of implying that until Goku sensed Raditz, he didn't think realize that sort of level even existed, which is hilarious to think about. This implies that due to his gauge of strength at the time is himself and Piccolo, he likely wouldnt gain a ton of power in the 5 years, because he can't conceive of a power much higher than that. He also relaxed his training on his own at the time, not due to Chi Chi. It is my opinion here that Goku would only be at 700 at most here due to this, his Kamehameha would amp to 1800 though, so he's still enough to kill Raditz on his own. Piccolo would likely gain from this as well, he likely wouldn't keep up with Goku directly, but if Goku were at say 700, Piccolo is at 550 or 600, struggling hard to keep up, but not bridging the gap, because Piccolo himself does state that he did train to beat Goku the whole time, and the idea I have of power not being conceiveable until someone else finds it would allow Piccolo to see a power thats possible to reach in Goku. TL;DR: Goku can't hit 6 figures of power without some sort of reference. Goku hit 90k in the Freeza Saga in 6 days because he could sense and gauge Freeza and the Ginyu Force. He basically knew "I have to be stronger than 10 Vegetas", and trained to reach that level, which he was able to match with Kaioken, of which he states he can use x1 basically as a base, and ramp up in smaller bursts.
He wouldn't need to think of it. Dr. Brief is a genius and it's not all that unlikely that he would think of it first and maybe suggest it to Goku. Whether he agrees to it or not is really the only variable we need to consider. I'm sure even Bulma could come up with that idea, given her intellect. Between Chi Chi and Bulma, Bulma is the smart one, so odds are the Brief family would come up with something, anything. Maybe even heavier weighted training clothes. It doesn't even need to be something as convoluted as a gravity chamber. Goku already developed as a fighter due to his association with the Brief family, so the odds of his potential increasing further, being a member of that family, is not so unlikely.
Could’ve wrote this beginning better already I think… goku doesn’t remember his promise as he believed “marriage” was a food potentially once asked by chichi so he wouldn’t know and goku and bulma could be written to fall in love a lil or at least goku more captivated by bulma perhaps maybe because she ends up developing something to help in train and such and…. They should really click once he returns from kami after training and maybe the moment between bulma and him would become more special between the two of them as I believe the won’t they was fully decided in remembrance of chichi so they could click more and once chichi appears and she’s finally makes goku remember his promise he says something along the lines of “oh yeah I remember…. Uhm I’m really sorry chichi but…. I thought marriage was a food honestly I still did honestly but if it’s something like that I can’t really agree to that… if there was anyone I’d even consider something like that with would be bulma… she’s really helpful..” and bulma already having the hots for goku would probably react very positively to that and chichi would be pissed and probably start fighting goku on the spot or just kinda sit there a for a moment thinking that it’s a promise from a little boy who sure saved my life but was a little boy and doesn’t really know me like that even if he has the same master as her dad and the when the fire happens perhaps chichi would get help from roshi roshi calls bulma and bulma gets goku but it wouldn’t be as urgent potentially cuz I believe the ox king would’ve managed an evacuation due to the fact him being caught was a direct link to the wedding between the two so perhaps the fire would just burn and goku wouldn’t know

No goku wouldn't have access to gravity training, that was something Dr Briefs developed by repairing the Namibian ship, and wasn't even developed for that...the fact that Goku used it like that was an act of stupidity that paid off....Also before the Saiyan Saga Goku thought he was already the strongest in the universe...Goku never just trains for training sake, he loves to fight if he doesn't think there will be anyone strong enough to face he really won't train non stop That feels more like Super flanderisation Goku only trains non stop after Cell dies and only because he was dead and his power was not enough... Also Goku would never be able to achieve anything near what Vegeta had without being beated near dead by Vegeta Goku dying is so important for him eventually achieving super saiyan and Beyond

we have no concrete power levels past the frieza saga so we don't know the difference in power between characters without statements and beerus clearly stated that goku in his base could not have beaten frieza. it was impossible for him without a transformation like kaioken or super saiyan
In the buu saga supreme kai states that yakon is threat while just before he said that frizas isn't even a threat.supreme kai also says that he can easily beat frizas. Goku beating yakon in his ssj because he could absorbed energy. And he says that he could have beaten him in his base. Goku in BOG arc is stronger then supreme kai in base.

There are alot of issues i see just getting to the Saiyan saga. Its more then likely Frueza would have killed so many Namekians like in the the OG that Guru dies. If not that hed kill them before he finds out you need to speak Namekian to get the wish. Also we already kno why Goten and Trunks had SSJ so early why purposely chnage it to fit your narrative when it doesnt make much sense?
Another thing that doesn't sit right with me is piccolo still becoming good even though he wasn't influenced by gohan which was the main reason he became good.
i doubt cell would have died this easy with absorbing majin buu/the old kaoshin in to him. Giving him probably acsess to a lot of god ki and maybe even countering the hakai since he is the opposite of a destroyer. Also you could have included trunks in that way that he failed to stop the creation of perfect cell and that he was fighting dabura and cell.
Fantastic story, it really is! But I was thinking why couldn’t cell just absorb babidi? Do you think that could lead into a magic cell arc? Or maybe a cell what if where he has access to the current power level allowing the classic villain to return? Or maybe a cell 2.0 made with different fighters? Like piccolo? Like imagine piccolos orange form?
I like to think of an alternate timeline where Nappa and Vegeta kill Goku on Earth. Then they also kill Krillin. They decide to spare Gohan and begin his evil transformation. Piccolo for some reason isn't killed during the battle, but is horribly disfigured, so the Dragon Balls still exist. Vegeta and Nappa both wish for immortality. In the meantime, Vegeta and Nappa take over Earth easily while Gohan is intimidated by their evil ways and eventually is ok with fighting at their side. This in turn causes Vegeta to not go after Bulma, but instead after Chichi cause something about wanting to stuff Goku's wife like a Christmas turkey and make Gohan his step son. Eventually Chichi gives birth to several more half saiyans as Vegeta succumbs to sex addiction in between massacring cities to keep himself entertained. Nappa would of course would not be interested in Bulma because swag, and would instead find himself a strip bar run by women with big honkers for him to play with. Anyway, Nappa knocks them up with his own Saiyan bazooka juice and spawns his own army of big, dumb, stupid warriors. Going back to Piccolo being still alive for some reason, his anatomy is a mystery to the people of Earth and because he got his ass handed to him so badly in the battle, he can't regenerate. Barely alive, Nappa and Vegeta hook up some of those cow udder pump things and use him to produce Namekian breast milk to feed their Saiyan army spawn. Eventually the demon spawn of Nappa and Vegeta, including Gohan are old enough and strong enough after all getting immortality from the eternal dragon that the Dragon Balls don't matter anymore. Piccolo shrivels up and dies after years of a horrible existence of nourishing a new race of half human, half saiyan psychopaths who only want to breed and kill. They all force Bulma to build them space ships and they blast off to f*** Frieza's face. Most of them are Super Saiyans as they spent a lot of time fighting amongst themselves and getting stronger. In the end, Frieza is destroyed when 30 Super Saiyans, drunk on Namekian breast milk, rock his shit so hard that no amount of immortality could ever prevent his death a dozen times before he hit the ground. Triumphant, the Saiyans come back to Earth, or New Vegeta as it's now known, and have an international orgy. More half breed Saiyans are born from the 3 months straight of non stop orgies with anyone they could find. For the most part the men are all wiped out, cause who the f*** needs them. By the time the orgy is over, Dr Gero has released a handfull of his androids on the planet and begin killing some of the Saiyans. When Vegeta, Nappa and Gohan (now evil) realize what is happening, they call all the remaining saiyans together to have one massive battle with Androids 13-20. All the Saiyans relish the challenge, especially Gohan who is practically foaming at the mouth as he no longer has to study Calculus and can allow his inner Saiyan psychopath be released. All of the remaining adult Saiyans (there's still like 25 of them, not including the hundreds of children that were born after they got back from killing Frieza) band together, turn Super Saiyan, and unleash an ungodly assault on the Androids who were unaware of their battles with Frieza on Frieza planet 419. Essentially this means they COULD NOT SEE THE FUTUREEEEEEEEE and were no match for the Saiyan onslaught. They manage to kill a couple more Saiyans, but outnumbered 3-1, there was little chance they could overcome the might of the Saiyans. Then time goes on, some other shit happens or something, and the Saiyans replace the human population of earth with half breed Saiyan warriors. Vegeta rules with an iron fist with Gohan at his side, Nappa trains all Saiyans to be part of the Saiyan international guard, and eventually Chichi dies from being railed way too hard, way too often and shooting Saiyan children out of her vagooter. Vegeta then marries Bulma cause her hair looks like lettuce and he likes that for some reason. Trunks is never born cause by now Bulma has menopause and her uterus ran out of juice. Anyway, that's it I think. Nappa still goes after strippers with big honkers, Gohan turns into a murderous emo kid who fucks up Brolly at some point, and Vegeta never grows another inch. The end
In this what if, if Goku had Super Saiyan during the Raditz part he'd only be 23% weaker than canon Cell.... Either I'm doing the math incredibly wrong, (which there is a pretty high possibility of that being the case) or that's incredibly stupid.
Last I checked artificial moons were only accessible to very few saiyans, elites in particular. I think the only scenario in which he could transform is using Kakarot's spaceship, or maybe his, if he has such a device. But then, if attack balls could do that, why didn't Radditz at least attempt this while fighting Piccolo and Goku?
Alright I have one thing to add, I don't understand how and why goku would reach his ginyu force especially so fast. I honestly doubt that goku would train the same way he did when he was travelling for namek, the time was really short for him to actually train and the training he did do was brutal. He trained to near death and then crawled his way back to get a senzu bean and kept rince and repeating that same process, training until he's almost dead then instantly healing. I doubt he would use that process and abuse zenkais to get that strong especially since he doesn't have a reason, he just became the world's strongest fighter and it's a time of peace and they're having a son as well. I think it's more than possible he reaches the power level he did have in the ginyu force saga but after a couple of years maybe not after couple of days damn this was a long comment

Goku wouldn't have done gravity training prior to the Saiyan Saga, it simply makes no sense. Goku only develops this as a training method due to his stay on King Kai's planet and after reflecting on the fact that it was the gravity of the saiyan homeworld that made the saiyans as naturally strong as they were without having to train as hard as he did. Without having all that context in mind Goku has no reason to do anything outside wearing his weighted clothing
I'd go with more not have Goku answer rather than not have her ask it. Even though it's weird for ChiChi to ask it's not only a different world and we might not know completely how she was raised but also her mother died in childbirth so maybe living alone with the Ox King maybe she got books that made her fantasize about the idea of being married like some girls do. Another thing this gives me wild vibes of is the idea that love is only for adults even though the direct media and representation of that love in daily life becomes an effect those younger wish to replicate that's why you got those awkward confession things and the childish versions of love it also doesn't help when you have some parents be like "Oooh is that your Girl/Boy Friend when they see their child hang out with someone they don't know. ~ Then you just have Chichi believe that lack of an answer was a rejection when really in this story maybe things are just moving faster and he doesn't have time to answer or is so focused on what comes next he legit might have hyper focused and didn't hear her. Metaphorical Punches Dr. Briefs the Goat! Looks Like Trunks but named Gohan. This is the best fucking Compromise I've ever seen in a What-if. Even with all the multipliers it doesn't really make sense for you to be like somewhere in Multi-Planet and get 400X Stronger and become a power that can threaten the Universe. Goku was most likely suppressing himself and then he just stopped. Even when he transformed into Super Saiyan we don't know what level of power he was at just maybe that he could have multiplied his Suppressed power 50X to show Beerus he has more power if anything maybe he's not even really expecting much he can't Sense Beerus and maybe Beerus isn't good enough at sensing to tell his hidden power or he's just playing with him to try and get a rise so he shows off even more power. I don't think it makes sense for Majin Buu Saga Base Goku to be so weak when the power levels rise so much you go from. Frieza Final Form > Mecha Frieza/Cold which should be stronger as a team at least but I think Mecha Frieza from what I know is Namek SSJ Goku level which is higher than his full power 120 Million most use but if you argue that his power is 200 Million and the spirit Bomb Nerfed him then now he's closer to that power without even bulking up if he even could. Then you have Androids like 19 and 20 which should be stronger because of the way Androids work and for Sure 17 and 18 who can beat up a Goku who's stronger than his future self who could beat Both of them and we sort of see that in Dokkan and it's implied in the Future he just teleported and beat them up and killed them this time. Then you have like Cell who comes in the picture like stronger after all the absorptions than some and he transforms again only to be beaten up by Grade 2 SSJ's who could beat up the Androids before and then Cell goes perfect only to be beaten up by 2 Level SSJ Gohan then the scaling gets a bit more ambig from this point but we should know that while they get stronger through the Buu arc SSJ2 Gohan with his Rage active is still quite a powerful foe but they should all surpass him by the end of that especially SSJ3 Goku, Vegeta who kept his Majin Amps, Ultimate Gohan who should be a bit above that level, and a bit more then They train for even longer after this still having SSJ3 as the Ceiling of Power but like by this point Frieza is like so out. Honestly I feel it's implied even Goten SSJ should be able to beat him with how those Rock Throws be crazy and how Frieza's treated in some other Canons as just one Shot. You also have Like Supreme Kai who fears some of these people when he implies he can just One Shot Frieza and yet SSJ2 Goku pulls up with a Blue Ki Blast in his Hand and is implied to be able to kill him casually. Then Goku would be even stronger from then out. I feel the argument stems from people taking Beerus statement too literally or acting like it's the end all be all when it doesn't make sense. We don't have any reason to Trust Beerus or even know what Frieza he's talking about he might be talking about more of the concept of Frieza or finds it unbelievable that Goku in the past couldn't have beat him or he's just saying this to make Goku power up because he thinks it would work his idea of Saiyans especially one that could beat Frieza might be being like "Oh you look like you couldn't beat Frieza." And most Saiyans ego would make them show their full power after his taunts and then he would get a good fight knowing he's looking for the Super Saiyan God he might think Goku just has that power and is trying to get it out of him or something. Destroyed but maybe Data salvaged to added to Bulma's research? YAY TRUNKS! ~~~~~ Frieza planet 1. Frieza and Colds plan likely going to be to train a bit ever few days and then they would be close to Beerus but they likely never know when they are going to wake up and if they did wake up all they would have to do is the Black Level Training and then they get the W especially if they train together. Also, if goku gets stronger,Piccolo would also start training. The only reason why Piccolo didn't train as much in cannon was that there was no need. his power level was already close to goku. All he needed was to create an attack that goku couldn't stop, hence the Special Beam Cannon. Otherwise, you have seen his growth in saiyan Saga. He also has great potential.
Also, bulma might not be as angry as chi chi, but she still wouldn't let goku train that much, especially during the first few years after gohan's birth.So, at best goku would be at 50,000

Motivation does play a key role in power growth, yes, but the means of training will also be based on other factors just as much so. Even the fact that it's a story has an impact on their strength, it's just that Dragon Ball is really good at making that also fit in with the canonicity. Everybody's a prodigy. But, I need you to clarify which power boost you think was too large, because I think I recall two jumps being immediately questionable.
A factor about Bulma that I think everyone ignores is that Vegeta never actually pushes Trunks to train at the age he's at. Regardless of why is irrelevant, because the point is that we don't ACTUALLY know how Bulma would act there. We just theorize she's a lot more lenient because of Vegeta and Trunks' interactions. You have to still factor in that regardless of their feelings for each other, she allowed an ex-mass murderer still raise his son.
I still highly doubt she would have an issue with her son training at such a low age as long as the explanation is there. I think without any at all she would flip immediately though.

Okay. I’m about 10 minutes in and I’m enjoying the story. It’s cohesive and makes logical sense. However I have to say the backgrounds aren’t moving a lot and it feels a little empty at times. I feel a lot of inspiration from the RUclipsr salad saiyan with you. What makes his content so good is that there is both visual and audio content. Maybe work on your editing to make the backgrounds a lot flashier. As for your audio. My only complaint is that you are rather quiet. I’m sure this will come with time however maybe practice speaking a bit louder. Other than that. Very nice indeed. I can see a rising star forming. My only griff with the story is about the gravity training. As sure Goku knows from the room of spirit and time. But would he or bulma have the idea to create said gravity room. As the idea was only brought up after Goku learned at king Kai’s about 10x G and vegeta mentioning earth gravity is weak. But good stuff. Keep working hard!

Me and Salad do have pretty similar styles although he's a bit more high tech; I don't put much money into this and mostly just do it for fun and to give people a good pass time so the editing can be a bit lack luster at times (Although I do plan to improve). Technically the story ends at Android Saga, Goku contracts the heart virus and with no Future Trunks to give him the mcguffin (The Future Medicine for said Heart Virus), Goku dies and the story ends there. Everything else is wilful fanservice.
For the record i'm willing to suspend dissbelief about the Rules of the Namekian Dragonballs and say that Frieza was able to coerece a Namekian into making the wish for him because without the interference of the Z-Fighters and Vegeta there would be no real sense of urgency and Frieza and his Army could theoretically go about their business at leisure.
However you're skipping over some very real canon that regardless of what you would like to happen with various character beats would still take place.
Goku and Krillin would still be best friends, and yet Krillin is basically woefully left out of the story, they'd still all be friends and have get togethers - So the Z-Fighters all would've still showed up to the battle with the Saiyans.
The difference here is given Goku's strength he would have ultimately ensured nobody died to the Saiba-Men, because Vegeta would've used them as a pleasant distraction as he did in the original series.
I do like that you didn't use the death of a character to do the Power Increase of Super Saiyan, that's actually a really interesting theory - powering up in the fight with a new Piccolo that I genuinely like the arc of.
I also like your story after the Android Saga, it's interesting, I disagree with it happening as Goku would be dead, but I do understand that for your premise you cant kill off the MC - and I would also disagree with Bulma being able to have crated the heart medication, Bulma in this timeline is no different to Bulma in the original continuity - she would have no reason to put her time and effort into this medicine. We don't even know who made it in the original continuity but we do know it wasn't until long after Goku was dead.
For me I would've gone with Goku being dead and this spurring Gohan on to become the MC - that's more logical.

Guess I'll add why I don't think Goku would be as OP as presented. 1. It took him some time getting acclimated to King Kai's 10x gravity, and Goku had a more durable spirit body. 2. I always thought it took access to the Namek tech to create both the ship and the gravity room as they'd never done it before. 3. As we see in the ToP and to a lesser extent earlier, Saiyans tend to rise to the challenge. There was no greater challenge than Freeza and no challenge during the time skip. Vegeta during the 7 years after Cell trained hard enough with gravity access to reach SSJ2 but it still wasn't enough to catch spirit Goku at SSJ2 without Majin boost.
So yeah, Goku would be a lot stronger but not at the level he is. Not really a critcism, but you mentioned you didn't want to have an OP Goku so some reasons it could have been toned down.

I will say I disagree with Goku's base power not reaching Freeza's final form until Super. I more chalk this up to Toriyama being away from the series for nearly two decades and forgetting key details of the story. It's not really consistent when a weakened base Goku was still able to struggle against Kid Buu in a Spirit Bomb struggle. I think he would've been flattened easily with Beerus' take.

4:20 so hard disagree here. I'm 88% sure that Goku only asked about Gravity Training due to the fact that he trained on King Kai's planet, and learned how beneficial it was there. Nothing in DB or Z implies he thought of it earlier. It's also a thing in Z that characters only ever push to a lot greater power when prepping for some sort of threat, almost like power levels aren't possible to reach until the are able to conceive of it. I'm sort of implying that until Goku sensed Raditz, he didn't think realize that sort of level even existed, which is hilarious to think about. This implies that due to his gauge of strength at the time is himself and Piccolo, he likely wouldnt gain a ton of power in the 5 years, because he can't conceive of a power much higher than that. He also relaxed his training on his own at the time, not due to Chi Chi. It is my opinion here that Goku would only be at 700 at most here due to this, his Kamehameha would amp to 1800 though, so he's still enough to kill Raditz on his own. Piccolo would likely gain from this as well, he likely wouldn't keep up with Goku directly, but if Goku were at say 700, Piccolo is at 550 or 600, struggling hard to keep up, but not bridging the gap, because Piccolo himself does state that he did train to beat Goku the whole time, and the idea I have of power not being conceiveable until someone else finds it would allow Piccolo to see a power thats possible to reach in Goku.
TL;DR: Goku can't hit 6 figures of power without some sort of reference. Goku hit 90k in the Freeza Saga in 6 days because he could sense and gauge Freeza and the Ginyu Force. He basically knew "I have to be stronger than 10 Vegetas", and trained to reach that level, which he was able to match with Kaioken, of which he states he can use x1 basically as a base, and ramp up in smaller bursts.
He wouldn't need to think of it. Dr. Brief is a genius and it's not all that unlikely that he would think of it first and maybe suggest it to Goku. Whether he agrees to it or not is really the only variable we need to consider. I'm sure even Bulma could come up with that idea, given her intellect.
Between Chi Chi and Bulma, Bulma is the smart one, so odds are the Brief family would come up with something, anything. Maybe even heavier weighted training clothes. It doesn't even need to be something as convoluted as a gravity chamber.
Goku already developed as a fighter due to his association with the Brief family, so the odds of his potential increasing further, being a member of that family, is not so unlikely.
Could’ve wrote this beginning better already I think… goku doesn’t remember his promise as he believed “marriage” was a food potentially once asked by chichi so he wouldn’t know and goku and bulma could be written to fall in love a lil or at least goku more captivated by bulma perhaps maybe because she ends up developing something to help in train and such and…. They should really click once he returns from kami after training and maybe the moment between bulma and him would become more special between the two of them as I believe the won’t they was fully decided in remembrance of chichi so they could click more and once chichi appears and she’s finally makes goku remember his promise he says something along the lines of “oh yeah I remember…. Uhm I’m really sorry chichi but…. I thought marriage was a food honestly I still did honestly but if it’s something like that I can’t really agree to that… if there was anyone I’d even consider something like that with would be bulma… she’s really helpful..” and bulma already having the hots for goku would probably react very positively to that and chichi would be pissed and probably start fighting goku on the spot or just kinda sit there a for a moment thinking that it’s a promise from a little boy who sure saved my life but was a little boy and doesn’t really know me like that even if he has the same master as her dad and the when the fire happens perhaps chichi would get help from roshi roshi calls bulma and bulma gets goku but it wouldn’t be as urgent potentially cuz I believe the ox king would’ve managed an evacuation due to the fact him being caught was a direct link to the wedding between the two so perhaps the fire would just burn and goku wouldn’t know

No goku wouldn't have access to gravity training, that was something Dr Briefs developed by repairing the Namibian ship, and wasn't even developed for that...the fact that Goku used it like that was an act of stupidity that paid off....Also before the Saiyan Saga Goku thought he was already the strongest in the universe...Goku never just trains for training sake, he loves to fight if he doesn't think there will be anyone strong enough to face he really won't train non stop

we have no concrete power levels past the frieza saga so we don't know the difference in power between characters without statements and beerus clearly stated that goku in his base could not have beaten frieza. it was impossible for him without a transformation like kaioken or super saiyan
In the buu saga supreme kai states that yakon is threat while just before he said that frizas isn't even a threat.supreme kai also says that he can easily beat frizas. Goku beating yakon in his ssj because he could absorbed energy. And he says that he could have beaten him in his base. Goku in BOG arc is stronger then supreme kai in base.

There are alot of issues i see just getting to the Saiyan saga. Its more then likely Frueza would have killed so many Namekians like in the the OG that Guru dies. If not that hed kill them before he finds out you need to speak Namekian to get the wish. Also we already kno why Goten and Trunks had SSJ so early why purposely chnage it to fit your narrative when it doesnt make much sense?
Another thing that doesn't sit right with me is piccolo still becoming good even though he wasn't influenced by gohan which was the main reason he became good.

I dont think Goku would have the gravity machine. Dr. Briefs developed the gravity capsule after analyzing Goku's pod where he arrived POST Radditz.

i doubt cell would have died this easy with absorbing majin buu/the old kaoshin in to him. Giving him probably acsess to a lot of god ki and maybe even countering the hakai since he is the opposite of a destroyer. Also you could have included trunks in that way that he failed to stop the creation of perfect cell and that he was fighting dabura and cell.
by the time raditz arrived, goku would be anywhere between 20500000 to 30500000

Fantastic story, it really is! But I was thinking why couldn’t cell just absorb babidi? Do you think that could lead into a magic cell arc? Or maybe a cell what if where he has access to the current power level allowing the classic villain to return? Or maybe a cell 2.0 made with different fighters? Like piccolo? Like imagine piccolos orange form?

I like to think of an alternate timeline where Nappa and Vegeta kill Goku on Earth. Then they also kill Krillin. They decide to spare Gohan and begin his evil transformation.
Piccolo for some reason isn't killed during the battle, but is horribly disfigured, so the Dragon Balls still exist. Vegeta and Nappa both wish for immortality.
In the meantime, Vegeta and Nappa take over Earth easily while Gohan is intimidated by their evil ways and eventually is ok with fighting at their side.
This in turn causes Vegeta to not go after Bulma, but instead after Chichi cause something about wanting to stuff Goku's wife like a Christmas turkey and make Gohan his step son. Eventually Chichi gives birth to several more half saiyans as Vegeta succumbs to sex addiction in between massacring cities to keep himself entertained.
Nappa would of course would not be interested in Bulma because swag, and would instead find himself a strip bar run by women with big honkers for him to play with. Anyway, Nappa knocks them up with his own Saiyan bazooka juice and spawns his own army of big, dumb, stupid warriors.
Going back to Piccolo being still alive for some reason, his anatomy is a mystery to the people of Earth and because he got his ass handed to him so badly in the battle, he can't regenerate. Barely alive, Nappa and Vegeta hook up some of those cow udder pump things and use him to produce Namekian breast milk to feed their Saiyan army spawn.
Eventually the demon spawn of Nappa and Vegeta, including Gohan are old enough and strong enough after all getting immortality from the eternal dragon that the Dragon Balls don't matter anymore. Piccolo shrivels up and dies after years of a horrible existence of nourishing a new race of half human, half saiyan psychopaths who only want to breed and kill. They all force Bulma to build them space ships and they blast off to f*** Frieza's face. Most of them are Super Saiyans as they spent a lot of time fighting amongst themselves and getting stronger. In the end, Frieza is destroyed when 30 Super Saiyans, drunk on Namekian breast milk, rock his shit so hard that no amount of immortality could ever prevent his death a dozen times before he hit the ground.
Triumphant, the Saiyans come back to Earth, or New Vegeta as it's now known, and have an international orgy. More half breed Saiyans are born from the 3 months straight of non stop orgies with anyone they could find. For the most part the men are all wiped out, cause who the f*** needs them.
By the time the orgy is over, Dr Gero has released a handfull of his androids on the planet and begin killing some of the Saiyans. When Vegeta, Nappa and Gohan (now evil) realize what is happening, they call all the remaining saiyans together to have one massive battle with Androids 13-20.
All the Saiyans relish the challenge, especially Gohan who is practically foaming at the mouth as he no longer has to study Calculus and can allow his inner Saiyan psychopath be released. All of the remaining adult Saiyans (there's still like 25 of them, not including the hundreds of children that were born after they got back from killing Frieza) band together, turn Super Saiyan, and unleash an ungodly assault on the Androids who were unaware of their battles with Frieza on Frieza planet 419. Essentially this means they COULD NOT SEE THE FUTUREEEEEEEEE and were no match for the Saiyan onslaught. They manage to kill a couple more Saiyans, but outnumbered 3-1, there was little chance they could overcome the might of the Saiyans.
Then time goes on, some other shit happens or something, and the Saiyans replace the human population of earth with half breed Saiyan warriors. Vegeta rules with an iron fist with Gohan at his side, Nappa trains all Saiyans to be part of the Saiyan international guard, and eventually Chichi dies from being railed way too hard, way too often and shooting Saiyan children out of her vagooter.
Vegeta then marries Bulma cause her hair looks like lettuce and he likes that for some reason. Trunks is never born cause by now Bulma has menopause and her uterus ran out of juice.
Anyway, that's it I think. Nappa still goes after strippers with big honkers, Gohan turns into a murderous emo kid who fucks up Brolly at some point, and Vegeta never grows another inch. The end

In this what if, if Goku had Super Saiyan during the Raditz part he'd only be 23% weaker than canon Cell.... Either I'm doing the math incredibly wrong, (which there is a pretty high possibility of that being the case) or that's incredibly stupid.
Last I checked artificial moons were only accessible to very few saiyans, elites in particular. I think the only scenario in which he could transform is using Kakarot's spaceship, or maybe his, if he has such a device. But then, if attack balls could do that, why didn't Radditz at least attempt this while fighting Piccolo and Goku?
Alright I have one thing to add, I don't understand how and why goku would reach his ginyu force especially so fast. I honestly doubt that goku would train the same way he did when he was travelling for namek, the time was really short for him to actually train and the training he did do was brutal. He trained to near death and then crawled his way back to get a senzu bean and kept rince and repeating that same process, training until he's almost dead then instantly healing. I doubt he would use that process and abuse zenkais to get that strong especially since he doesn't have a reason, he just became the world's strongest fighter and it's a time of peace and they're having a son as well. I think it's more than possible he reaches the power level he did have in the ginyu force saga but after a couple of years maybe not after couple of days damn this was a long comment

In the original ssj happened on namek, so they didn’t get that information. But however cell has also information about freezer and that’s because he came to earth. So the information got kinda to cell and I thought also to the androids.
Goku wouldn't have done gravity training prior to the Saiyan Saga, it simply makes no sense. Goku only develops this as a training method due to his stay on King Kai's planet and after reflecting on the fact that it was the gravity of the saiyan homeworld that made the saiyans as naturally strong as they were without having to train as hard as he did. Without having all that context in mind Goku has no reason to do anything outside wearing his weighted clothing

I think this idea that Base Goku never surpassed Frieza is SO FUCKING WILD TO ME.
Cell literally can blow up a Solar System and Goku only multiplies his power 2X to be around the Level of someone who was stronger than Cell.
The way simple Scaling works goes from Planet-Solar-Universe.
Frieza, Cell, Buu.
Even with all the multipliers it doesn't really make sense for you to be like somewhere in Multi-Planet and get 400X Stronger and become a power that can threaten the Universe.
Goku was most likely suppressing himself and then he just stopped.
Even when he transformed into Super Saiyan we don't know what level of power he was at just maybe that he could have multiplied his Suppressed power 50X to show Beerus he has more power if anything maybe he's not even really expecting much he can't Sense Beerus and maybe Beerus isn't good enough at sensing to tell his hidden power or he's just playing with him to try and get a rise so he shows off even more power.
I don't think it makes sense for Majin Buu Saga Base Goku to be so weak when the power levels rise so much you go from.
Frieza Final Form > Mecha Frieza/Cold which should be stronger as a team at least but I think Mecha Frieza from what I know is Namek SSJ Goku level which is higher than his full power 120 Million most use but if you argue that his power is 200 Million and the spirit Bomb Nerfed him then now he's closer to that power without even bulking up if he even could.
Then you have Androids like 19 and 20 which should be stronger because of the way Androids work and for Sure 17 and 18 who can beat up a Goku who's stronger than his future self who could beat Both of them and we sort of see that in Dokkan and it's implied in the Future he just teleported and beat them up and killed them this time.
Then you have like Cell who comes in the picture like stronger after all the absorptions than some and he transforms again only to be beaten up by Grade 2 SSJ's who could beat up the Androids before and then Cell goes perfect only to be beaten up by 2 Level SSJ Gohan then the scaling gets a bit more ambig from this point but we should know that while they get stronger through the Buu arc SSJ2 Gohan with his Rage active is still quite a powerful foe but they should all surpass him by the end of that especially SSJ3 Goku, Vegeta who kept his Majin Amps, Ultimate Gohan who should be a bit above that level, and a bit more then They train for even longer after this still having SSJ3 as the Ceiling of Power but like by this point Frieza is like so out.
Honestly I feel it's implied even Goten SSJ should be able to beat him with how those Rock Throws be crazy and how Frieza's treated in some other Canons as just one Shot.
You also have Like Supreme Kai who fears some of these people when he implies he can just One Shot Frieza and yet SSJ2 Goku pulls up with a Blue Ki Blast in his Hand and is implied to be able to kill him casually.
Then Goku would be even stronger from then out.
I feel the argument stems from people taking Beerus statement too literally or acting like it's the end all be all when it doesn't make sense. We don't have any reason to Trust Beerus or even know what Frieza he's talking about he might be talking about more of the concept of Frieza or finds it unbelievable that Goku in the past couldn't have beat him or he's just saying this to make Goku power up because he thinks it would work his idea of Saiyans especially one that could beat Frieza might be being like "Oh you look like you couldn't beat Frieza." And most Saiyans ego would make them show their full power after his taunts and then he would get a good fight knowing he's looking for the Super Saiyan God he might think Goku just has that power and is trying to get it out of him or something.
