    Hi, the most difficult part of this IMO is subsequent working out of SOG and DTG. I think it's a shame the video stops short of how to do this with half tidal hour vectors.

      @@pzsc Thanks but the part thats fuzzy to me is....
      where I need to reduce the triangle to keep it on the chart. So I half the boat speed > and half the Tidal Stream rate/length >>> and the triangle fits and the intercept falls just past the waypoint. CTS is fine. Happy with Leeway and Compass (no probs seem to want Deviation).
      Now I need to work out SOG and Time to Go....I think I double my groundtrack start>>intercept for SOG (?) divide it by the distance to go (which didn't get scaled) and multiply by 60.
      This is not obvious to me, but thats what I think. I can never see this covered anywhere.
      What does the panel think?
