When I worked at Blount at the Portland/Milwaukie plant in the bar department, they just brought in a multi pallet laser engraver and I found out that one of the test programs was it would burn the US flag while modulating the power in a way that the laser itself would play the star spangled banner as the laser does make some noise while burning!

Your dad has to be the most proud parent on the planet right now. That was beautiful!
    😱🎄😆🎄😁🎄
Merry Christmas to Titan and his family. Some of the most fantastic and generous human beings on earth. Home run on this one!

That’s pretty cool! Maybe the next iteration you can allow a little more space In between the blades to allow for a slight pause in those areas to track with the cadence in the song. By the way - not being critical AT ALL! This is very cool and you didn’t have to do it for us. Thanks :)

Wouldn't it would save material to adjust the tool speed instead?

There's a G code package for 3D printing that will print out a Darth Vade helmet, and then moves the steppers at variable speed to play the imperial march in stepper hum when the print is finished.

If you have time off between now and New Year's....
...love see you do this in inconel 625
... I'm guessing you might have to modify just a couple of things in the computer program. 😁
I install carpet for a living so I'm just taking a wild guess. 😁
