Definitely go into partnership with whoever made the irish wool throw and do a range to put on your merch store. Could resurrect the Eweknit name for it!
The beard suits, but yes Jaz is right, my husband looked good in a beard but it caught all the stray custard and gravy. Dogs are unbelievable I agree, they are often wiser than us, I was a mere amateur handler but just one word commands worked best for me. My most intuitive dog was a German Shepherd x Border Collie. On those rare sunny days when my Lleyn sheep were stretched out, bellies to the sun, having watched me check them out to make sure they they are just basking, she went round quietly giving them a nudge without setting them to flight. She was a great help in the handling area too. I agree with trying to get back to natural fibres. But most people don’t want the bother of caring for nature’s amazing gift.
sleeveless or vest jackets - felted with Irish wool on the inside and maybe a softshell on the outside - warm and waterproof - working outside you want your body warm but you need your arms free - we often wear a sleeveless or vest jacket when outside in the winter working. just keeps you the right temperature - look up what us Kiwi's do with the brand Swanndra
Jaz, the shawl med with the sheep’s wool is beautiful. It’s a shame people don’t appreciate the quality of sheeps wool. I have a cape that I bought more than 15yrs ago, it’s amazing and so heavy. Natural products 100%. made in Ireland. That’s what we should be producing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I remember driving sheep along the roads in Wicklow, ta the nearest conc Dip trough, about 30 / 35 years ago. I haven't noticed much dipping for years, until the last couple of years , I notice dipping again, maybe it's just me " I don't know"
🌱 "Wow, this video is amazing! The way you explain plant care is so detailed and easy to understand. I’ll be applying these tips to my garden right away! 💚 Thank you for sharing!"
Great blog Karl, those dogs are worth their weight in gold up around the wild wind swept hill s of sligo/north Leitrim, ewes are looking well, five grand rams also keep up the good work the ewetube team
Tell Jaz that the beard will soften up as it gets longer. She should by you some conditioner and some beard oil to help the process along. 😅. Stay warm out there on the hills!
Oh Borders are amazing PERIOD We had a collie who at the end of summer sat on the hill overlooking the pasture and barked Anyone who did not trot in wore his snapping teeth Even as a twelve year old WHAT a cow dog he used to roam with our older sister as a 5 year old He would pull her overalls when she tried to go in the river or where he didn’t want her 😂
Sheep head goes under due to the possibility of scab/itch living within the sheep's ears be a waste of time and money if the sheep weren't plunged properly
this was one of your best videos. dogs were more controlled. I believe you under stand , when Casy went down the steep hill to the sheep, sometimes you have to trust her. she may see something you can't. Sorry about your wet butt. But it happens. keep the lady helping, and if you can the others around. you all work together well . loved watching.

You basically read my mind Hayley, do you do that often? What had I for breakfast this morning?! 🤣 Super suggestion.

Ah shur for lads outside in the cold you need a beard! Great video full of hard work 💪
Glad you liked it Brian!
Dogs have pure 🥰 hearts
Fantastic idea making a woolen throw, now i would buy that but not a branded hoodie
I’d pay for Irish fleece to clean and spin if it was allowed to ship to the US. 😊
Great video .how many texel rams will you think will come back in from the hill 🙈🤣👍🏻
Hahaha good question!
I must say you looked very handsome with the beard and the wind blowing your fringe to the side. Should wear your hair like that! Hubba hubba 😂😂😂😂
Haha thanks for the kind words Heather!

I could bring you up some day!
wwwwww😊
Nice🥰
Thank you So
much💚💛👍🙏
Great video, The lad dipping should keep the ewes head up out of the dip, But dipping is well worth it.
Sheep head goes under due to the possibility of scab/itch living within the sheep's ears be a waste of time and money if the sheep weren't plunged properly
Sheep need 1min in the dip tho some sheep where out to quick .
Great job tho
The sheep's head needs to be immersed fully in the dipping solution to be fully effective against the ectoparasites that affects them.

God was good to us when he created dogs and horses too for that matter. How would man kind survived without both?
We probably wouldn’t have! 😅

Now a full-time Suckler (AA pd)
Happy Out 🌱 🕐 💰
Glad you’re happy, some work in purebred suffolks!
How much is the shawl
I don’t know, expensive I’d say if it’s custom made from wool!
You dip and you never rang me 😢 😅
