I'm a massive Tarantino fan, and I hate reading people's comments always assuming he's on coke these days due to his passionate talking, but I've always had a feeling he had a history with using it. I did it occasionally back when I was in my twenties, had my fun with it and whatnot. I agree with you, it's cool to hear Quentin just be one of the dudes and just straight out talk about it. There's nothing wrong with partying in your youth!

A lot of people are hyperactive their whole lives even after they stop. For many people they develop ticks, and traits of behaviour that stay with them their whole life. Guess what not everyone is on drugs all the time.

As someone who's done coke a few times casually, I've how it can grab control of people. It really is scary. I remember one friend who was talking and sitting and he would stand up and walk to the counter to rip and line and then sit back down. As soon as he sat down he would get up again and rip another line. It felt literally like he was taking lines every 2 minutes. And the crazy part is he didnt seem to notice. He kept on with the conversation as if nothing was happening. Meanwhile we are all watching this dude just pacing back and forth while ripping lines. It was just eye opening for me on how controlling that drug can be and how people can easily lose control.

I worked in a photo lab long ago. This is when you had to get film developed. We did all the police/highway patrol film. They would take pictures when something bad happened. One of those bad things was a young woman being st@bbed to de@th. She was a school bus driver dealing coke on the side. A lot of coke, apparently. One of her customers went nuts (happens with drugs) and k!lled her for her stash. We got the pictures from the scene and the initial surface autopsy. It was not good.
