One of the best games ever made.
I can't remember if I ever played this game or not. I remember seeing it. It looks vaguely familiar. Maybe a friend or a neighbor had it.
This game wasn't just my childhood but truly Inspired me In various way and yes; deserve a proper comeback unlike the previous game that killed It off for alittle while. Sparkster were still care and miss you ol' buddy! ^^

I could never come close to beating this game but I did watch my older brother do it. Such a great game. I don't personally know anyone else besides me and him who has played it. So underrated!
THIS IS GOLD. I LOVE THIS GAME. I play this alot on my CFW PS3. IDK wassup with them 2 ppl this disliked the video, they probably mad they couldn't beat it lol. VERY CHALLENGING as a kid for me, i was like 7 when i first played this in 1996. CLASSIC STUFF LOL. everything about this game is great, music, characters, storyline, everything. This video is amazing. Props to the uploader for playing and putting this video on youtube!! ....'

All I remember about this game is it being extremely hard and mad trippy.
I'd like to add that im very grateful for your channel. It's packed a lot of nostalgia and conclusions to games i never beat. In a way it helps us recollect a lot of our childhoods before adulthood kicked in. So pass on my thanks and thanks to everyone involved in the channel.
I guarantee that this game would have been more popular if it wasn't so hard. Konami jacked up the difficulty to avoid one and done day rentals and to prevent sales loss. But I'm willing to bet more people would have bought this game if it wasn't so frustrating.
This game is a true hidden gem I never owned it nor found a copy but man it's so good

I gotta say this game looks like a blast to play. The beginning of stage 3 where you had to use the reflection of the red liquid in order to see the next platform was a really cool idea. I think this game would have translated allot better to 3D than Sanic did.

Man I so miss this game. Use to play it after school on my mega drive back in the days. Yes the game was hard and you needed to have a quick reaction time to these bosses. I was able to complete i after god knows how many runs. I only wish someone can pick this up and remaster it.
They need to make another Sega Genesis Mini with this game on there

I beat this game on a single playthrough just by persistence the later stages are epic a fun great game overall
I was just playing it and noticed you usually get a 1 UP to find right after a checkpoint. Not always though! But makes certain parts essentially have "unlimited" tries. Popped into this video to see how far I've gotten. I'm certainly not going to finish it in 53 minutes... pretty sure I spent that much time to get to the end of stage 2.

Really cool game use to play this on Sega Genesis in high school. This and comic zone were my favorites to play in the am before school.
I absolutely loved this game and played it a lot, a lot lot lotto the point I remember mostly all sequences. Hard very hard then unlock crazy hard hahaha, dont remember if I finished crazy hard though but it was doable. Love the mechanics and the sword and the characters

Konami's attempt of a kind of Sonic character. Overall a good platformer and a nice addition to the Genesis library.
Rocket Knight is a parody of all Konami games, not juste a try to make a Sonic like character.
Or this game just trying to be like a collaboration between sonic, mega man and castlevania!
Yeah I noticed that as well. The similarities between this main character of Rocket Knight Adventures and Sonic The Hedgehog. Still one of the best games ever made for Sega Genisis. 💯

I had the PAL version of this, the difficulty seen here (1 life, no continues, one hit kill) was not called simply "Hard" it was called "Crazy Hard".

I'll never understand why sonic got famous and this game dissapeared. I loved this game as a kid, though I had to get a GameShark thing to ever beat it (this game is battletoads hard). The third level boss fight was a decade ahead of it's time, more epic than symphony of the night or metroid boss fights, and no one has heard of this franchise. It was too hard for anyone to play when I was a kid, I loved the art, but I think if this had been an approachable title it would have been sonic.

I'm not sure if I'm remembering this correctly but, wasnt Sega trying to push this character as their mascot or something like that? He was supposed to replace Sonic I think. I'm probably all kinds of wrong tho so I'd take this with a grain of salt.
totally wrong, it's more an attempt for konami to have mascot (don't forget a game was released on super nintendo).
Holly crap, you get to use a giant pig mech and then proceed to beat up another pig mech. I know I'm a get hate for this but I think this game looked like way more fun than Sonic.

Im excited for the collection to release. But I wasn't fond of the Xbox Version though... If Konami makes another sequel, i like it to be a 16-bit game. Just like they did for Sonic Mania.
