Who did you choose in the end? I have to say, at 6:11 Neve really got on my nerves with that reply......... Anyway this is the first Veilguard video on the channel, expect more, and a review once I'll be done with the game - I have plenty (negative) to say. As a shadowdragon who actually aimed to romance Lucanis this was a hard call. But at the end the fact Venatori could take over all of Tevinter got me. I can't let them take over after all I've fought them. Lucanis afterwards break my heart though
I followed the same train of thought, even though I'm not aiming to romance Lucanis, but to see his reaction and (spoiler) how he was still worried enough to ask about Neve, while Neve only cared for Minrathous... it was quite sad
@@Saretz low key I feel like Lucanis has a thing for Neve. People trying to romance him complaining about him flirting with her more than Rook lol. Maybe things would have been different though if Rook isn't a Shadowhunter, here it seems she's mad you didn't go for 'your' city.
I will always save Minrathous because I can't stand to see what happens to the shadow dragons. At the same time though as someone who saved both Treviso definitely gets the short end of the stick in terms of blight throughout their city, seeping into their water, antaam taking over almost, markets shutting down. Dock Town is still functional atleast

Damn I was wondering how Lucanis would react if i didnt go to Treviso first.. he and the Crows took it so much better than Neve and the Dragons.
It is because the player is playing as a shadow dragon. The faction you chose takes it personal if you chose the same faction as the one you do not save. Neve takes it better with the other factions.
Will the last mission play out in Treviso if you chose to let the city fall as well? I'm curious. I like Treviso and the npc's there more, so I probably never let that city fall but I was wondering if doing so would change the last mission completely. Minrathous's Dock Down did not change much after the city fell after all. It's still just Kirkwall 2.0
I saved treviso and got the good ending. I just made sure to do ALL of the companions side quest. Got the Mythal thingy and got all the dread wolf statues. All my companions lived and my Inquisitor lived happily ever after. All of my companions were Veil(whatevers) Neve was the hardest but she eventually maxed out.
Update: im on my second play through. It takes FOREVER but if you don't sell any of the valuables at other shops and save them all for Minrathous it helps. I took time to destroy everything and bought valuables at other shops to sell there. Also you can keep selling valuables in the crossroads at a specific vender that goes towards Minrathous. I had them at 3 stars before everyone else. 😁
@@D_89and you can negate the -250 hit you take for saving Traviso. After you do i side quest to rescue Viper you can find him in front of the chantry and do a lighting ceremony to remember the lost and you get 250 from doing that. not even mark as a quest I found it on pure accident
I alway choose Treviso to save. Mainly cause Lucanis just lost hus grandma, one of only 2 living relatives, after being in a torture prison for a year. That man has lost enough in my opinion.......also so i do not lock out his romance 😅

I saved Treviso, putting this video in my veilguard list so I can come back to it for my second PT.
Do let me know how it goes when you get to it

@@82evene That's certainly a possibility, if I'll ever do another playthrough I'll test with a different background

I’m an antivan crow rogue, I chose Treviso. Was I wrong to? It’s my home.
I don't think either options are inhrently "wrong", it was a hard call to make in any case

Just waving a massive spoiler spoiler in my face for a game that is barely a week old. Thanks for that.
