見られて嬉しいです。とにかく学生時代アーケードもはまってました。イケメン主人公ズに敵キャラも個性があって、エンディングも少し悲しくて。個人的にはガンシューの中で最高に好きです❤
Incredible! There were a few close calls with the final boss! I remember seeing in Smraedis run he barely managed to clear it with one life remaining! That boss has a high HP cancel meter there due to that rank system in there... Plus the final attacks can be hard to predict or require some luck. But projectiles should always be destroyed first if the cancel is a miss.

オブジェクトの破壊とかLIFEアップのメリットとか､ハイスコア条件に有利なのは分かってはいても､具体的なメリットをよく知らなかったので､その辺の解説があったのも参考になりました♪

今じゃあゲーセンで昔からあるシリーズもののガンゲーは、ハウスオブザデッドかタイムクライシスしかもう残ってないからな。ヴァンパイア・ナイト含めて、昔は色んなガンゲーマジあった。

This game was HARD. Shame I never got very far in it. I’ve only ever seen one of these cabinets and it was probably 15 years ago at least

There is a way to display score on the actual arcade,pull the trigger on corresponding side in sequence after inserted required credits:P2,P1,P2,P1,P2,P2,P1（Right,Left,Right,Left,Right,Right,Left）
Sadly on PS2 version thos code never works in arcade mode,in special mode there is a item called score ring which allows to display player's score.

めちゃくそ懐かしいこのゲーム
I played this once as a kid with my brother, he got civilians killed cuz his aim sucked, there was no reticle, you actually had to aim the gun too, shooting the person and missing the eye turns them into werewolves and boy it was a problem

I wish I could remember the reward in special mode for all survivors and this kind of run, we had unlocked everything but a perfect run. Me and my bro played the shit out of this game. This was after stumbling upon a ninja assault with guncon2 for 20 bucks new at kay bee toys. Man, I wish (we had bought all 3 they had). On Ninja Assault there was a 1 shot kill mode which was the perfect run, we beat that. but we weren't precise like this.....we were blasting away!!!

Actually, the lore of this game stated that the vampire hunters are created by the chief antagonist of this game.

@@Mechasonicrocks This can be found in the Hunter Files The Past I which stated the two vampire hunters Michel and Albert have no memories of their past because they are created by out of Vampire Auguste's own turmoil to end his life (guess living too long is suffering for a vampire).

I remember this game but I either never actually played it and just watched the intro trailer over and over again or got stuck on the first level as I don’t remember anything past it lol, I also totally forgot the name and it suddenly popped into my brain so I just searched “Vampire arcade game” and it was the first result lol

You know... half the time I rescue the civilians, but when I make a mistake, it feels like the hit box is too small.

他のボスはスコア稼ぎ意識してる感あるのに、ヴァンパイアくんだけコウモリがスコアになるからマシンガンみたいな速度で撃たれてんの草生える
You could make the flamethrower vampires explode in one shot if you target the tanks on their backs
However, this slightly earns less points as each non-kill non-weakpoint shot is worth 10 points. Hence, doing chip damage shots before shooting the fuel tank will give those 10 points along with the 500 points for the fuel tank.
So, how do you earn an extra life at the end of the chapter?
懐かしいなー。最後のエンディングは、出来れば風で飛んだ帽子を生き延びたラウル(4面ボス)が笑顔でキャッチする演出があってもいいと思った。

There is a way to do score display.
Unfortunately, PS2 version is not include this trick in arcade mode.
Except special mode by buying the item.

There is a way to do it. Unfortunately ; I forget how to do that.

As for the part Caroline fell into the phantom world in chapter 4, is it due to the phantom world giving more points from vampires as opposed to saving 2 more villagers but having fewer vampires should you kill both Cermitts within 7 seconds?

To maintain high accuracy as there is accuracy bonus as mentioned in the chapter 1 score summary.
Maybe vampire hunters have a gun with bullets included flash powder used to kill all vampires.

Actually the Vampire Hunters are ancient beings created by the Vampire King 300 years ago to end his life. They are immortal and powerful, not humans at all.

Wish thier was a werewolf rail shooter.
That would be cool, my idea would be the players are werewolves themselves fighting to restore order among their kind after a rival pack threatens the existence by attacking villages, they arm themselves with guns that fire silver bullets to defeat all kinds of werewolves mainly ferals, therians and thralls, bosses could be based off werewolves in different media like the bulky wolves from Van Helsing and Underworld and maybe a werewolf boss who fights with a martial arts style akin to Jon Talbain.
Humans can be rescued for points where failure to save them will either cause death or having to fight a freshly transformed wolf (like Vampire Night's Sarcoma Vampires)
Also having the players be werewolves would allow the game to be fast and frantic like VN or Ninja Assault.

@@oreofoxgamerx6028 I mentioned it in the comment I made but generally my idea for bosses would be key members of the rival pack who are formidable fighters who's appearances and mannerisms reference werewolves from different media, like a powerhouse werewolf like the ones in Van Helsing, a werewolf who fights with a martial artist style like Jon Talbain from Darkstalkers and maybe a human boss who believes that the rival pack's ways are needed to evolve humanity, with the final boss being a massive dire/werewolf of the rival pack who the protag werewolves have to defeat because he's too far gone, his fight would play out like Temperance from HOTD4 except the players would actually have to whittle the health down until he dies.

Why is it that you actually fire much slower in this game compared to the other games? Is it because there's limited ammo?

The Hanged Man boss in House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn was also a total ripoff of the vampire king on this game. Even down to the bat summons that flock around him.
Are you kidding me? The Hanged Man debuted in 1996, the Vampire King debuted in 2002. Have you played THOTD1?

The Hangedman boss from HOTD:SD is the one revived and enhanced from the first game. The only thing the HOTD:SD version copied from the chapter 3 boss is the flying to hit the players while under fire (fire does not burn it due to having fire resistance from its enhancement).
