Mostly just love the fact that Barnaby and Matt are level headed fans of opposing clubs and can have engaging discussions about the 2 clubs with the emotion removed 😀
Thanks mate appreciate that!
He was an absolute melt going there in the first place, but I'm very pleased, very happy with how things are going. Still a bit wary in case he signs some experienced leaders, if they gel with their youngsters he could be successful. But it's still more likely his tenure will end in deliciously salty Chelsea tears.
Nobody else was offering him a job tbf. Think he’d wanted Man Utd since before he left Spurs
While Chelsea reject Werner enjoys life under Ange at Spurs.
Great Insightful interview Barnaby! I'm glad you and Matt had a good conversation about chelsea and their woes...sadly i think the damage is done for them....COYS!
Appreciate that! Spread the word about the pod COYS
Big up Barnaby looking forward to this one ☝️
Thanks mate
Thank you for your interesting clip 😊 regarding Chelsea
Excellent conversation, Barnaby! Unusual and interesting stuff in that it's about a competitor who's in sixes and sevens while managed by a further Spurs manager. Thought-provoking and, dare I say, there should be lessons in there. Well done.
Thanks so much I really appreciate that. Spread the word!
Let’s put romanticism to the side, reality is the Poch bubble was bursting at PSG. Unfortunately I think he’s expertise now will be more valuable at a smaller club. Whatever prognosis is diagnosed, Poch has not stamped a style of play on the field. It is very unstructured and mirrors ETH with Man U. Emery, Ange, De Zerbi and even Glassner at CP have immediate plans if action. I’m afraid he may be yesterdays man.
Playing devil’s advocate… nobody who has managed PSG before or since has proven that to be the case
@@barnabyslater_ yes totally agreed, but it’s disappointing by his standards, it’s seems to have continued with Chelsea, and yes we can say that it’s similar to PSG, but my observation is just his or lack of structure in the system that has no visible identity or progression since round 1. Obviously we wish him well personally but just an honest observation
Big up Matt as well top guy nice to hear 👂 level headed fans. Matt I really can’t agree that poch is the problem
For me it’s all the owners doing
I think much like Man U it’s not the manager that is problem at chelski.
A great manager that tbh…was straight up thrown into the wolves.
Have to say I agree. Impossible job this season
Here’s another stat
Before Russian oil money…
Chelsea had won 8 major trophies
Tottenham had won 17 major trophies
Sad but true. I don’t know a single Chelsea fan who cares about the way they won everything though. Let’s hope their comeuppance is strong
As Long as Chelsea don't get an Australian, we don't need Chelsea as hard as nails! Let Ange work on that until it works without another team working it out. After all Most of England's Cricket coaches come from where?
New Zealand?
@@barnabyslater_ Yes Baz Ball, but Baz played a huge amount of Cricket in Australia. But still NZ uses our attack at all costs mentality. meaning Bayliss, Mott etc. all have a similar ethos. Ange brings the same and Harry Kewell and Kevin Muscat are using the Ange path to the EPL, currently in the Japanese league and Muscat is on his way to a second prem.
Do you honestly think Poch can save them no chance
I just don’t think there’s anyone who could do a better job there at the moment with what they’ve got tbh
Poch is too good for Chelsea. If Ange was to leave in the future I’d be glad to have him back.COYS
I do feel a little bit for Pochettino, considering the level of admiration/love the Tottenham fan's once held for him . . . but tbh this season (and last tbf, under Potter) couldn't have happened to a nicer club in all honesty
I do apologise Mr Beadle . . . although i do really like you're guitar collection, a man after my own heart
TOTTENHAM TILL I DIE ! 🤍
Hahaha I’ll relay your message on to Mr Beadle
@@barnabyslater_ Haha, Thankyou Barnaby . . . take care buddy & COYS ! 👍
#MourinhoIn
Bahahahahaha
Chelsea form has been improving... as Spurs form has been dropping.
Barnaby I’m a pretty positive supporter but that OAP thing has really fked me off . What a way to treat loyal supporters. How can that be right !
Yes forgot to add - agree this is piss poor
Understandable
"Legendary"????? He had a great squad and he never won anything!!!!!!!!!
And yet he’d have won the league had it not have been for a club who have admitted financial doping in the year in question. Not everything is as simplistic as your comment suggests IMO. Poch was the best manager in my lifetime at Spurs
You should be blaming Boris and his support of Azov and the sanctions that removed the Russian
What’s happening at Chelsea is Boris Johnson’s fault?
