I have a bunch of these in my cart at Tackle Warehouse. I stuck them in there after I saw Victor from I_Fish slaying fish with them. I also have the Tsurinoya Dragon Versatile on the way! Super excited to get it! Great vid Jimmy!
Sweet combo jimbo 💪 that Tsurinoya dragon versatile finesse rod looks like a blast 💥to fish. Thank you as always for the footage, you were putting on a crappie slaying clinic 😂😂

@@Catonkey1 i have not made a casting tutorial on BFS. for the most part, I feel that there's no difference in casting a normal baitcasting setup other than casting lighter. motion are all the same for normal casts; however, given that BFS got ton of thinner and ore flexy rods and short rods, you can now bring in other casting style such as flicking and flip casting. Are you having trouble casting?
I have the old Dragon 662L and have been eyeing the new Versatile UL/ML. How would you say it behaves compared to your 702L in terms of action and ability to cast lighter weights? I assume the action is a tad faster given the UL tip + ML backbone.
The rod is fun and amazing. Doesn't cast well at the 2 gram mark compared to rods made for it. It only loads up at the tip, but if u throw a bit heavier, it's amazing. I can see myself using treble hook lures with it! It's definitely got back bone compared to regular dragon rod. I was able to do hook sets with the Midwest Finesse swim jig. Truly versatile lol
i do not use fishbrain. I believe that app is a bad thing for the fishing community. FIrst off, there are so many bad posts. But if there are good posts, that just turn fishing holes to trashed up spots or people slapping a no tresspassing sign onto a fishing spot.
I love fishing. My problem is I am terrified of hooking my hand or fingers when catching (I am a professional violinist and that could be a huge problem).
@@Lqviolin2 Get a net and a pair of needle nose pliers or hemostates. That way you can net the fish and unhook without having to handle the fish. Plus if you do need to grab the fish they make gloves also.
You have massive bluegill and tons of crappie and small bass because the crappie are over populated that’s why bass are small and bluegill so big. Bluegill are too big for bass to eat. Pond need rod of crappie if you want big bass. DONT keep the bluegill release them all. That’s the bass main forage. The bluegill nest 3-4 times a year so those need to stay. Crappie have to go. If you want to grow 6lb + bass crappie have to go. All of them. But you can’t get rid of them all. Almost impossible unless you drain the pond. Which is what need to happen for trophy bass growth
That's what I am thinking. I am gonna be sad to get rid of that much crappies. But I think I can still be happy with the bass being big lol Gonna take a while to get these crappies out, but i will do my best!

Your going to make some bankfisher happy when they fish that spillway .😊

As a nooby at BFS I'd love a casting instructional video, I tried looking through your past videos and couldnt see one.

Lol if it's just catching small fish all day, it's definitely fun! I can do this for hours. But I wanna try some big fish!
Do you think these will work in van sciver or manor lake lower bucks county?
Sure. U gonna take me on Penn Warner lakes so I can show ya? Lol

Is this a private lake in New Jersey ??
Yes sir!
Nice catches What lake is that if you don’t mind
Private back yard lake :)
What line are you using?
I am using Varivas 4 PE 0.6 gou and then to 4lb Fluorocarbon. Not too picky with my leader. But it's also from Varivas
What lake is that, looks familiar 🤔
It's the private lake I always fish. So you likely seen it on my other videos that u have watched!
What fish finder are you using ?
Old lowrance elite ti 5. With triple shot (side structure scan) 2016

I feel ya! That hand is important. But fishing smaller lures and single hooks would be safer than large treble hooks!
