- To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Sonic Mania, the official decompilation of the game has been released to the public! This also means a mobile port is possible, as showcased here. I'm currently playing on Android, so I have no idea if it works for Apple users or not.

And for those confused, this is NOT an emulator for Switch or PC, this is NOT a fangame, this is a DECOMPILATION of Sonic Mania that was released yesterday, made by the same people that did the Sonic 1, 2, and CD decompilations
What this means is that this allows for a native port of the game for any console, including mobile

@@PeachyluvsU Thing is when I downloaded it the game worked at the very start for me without me needing to install gl shaders
I can only presume because they were already installed. Did you build it yourself or did you use the pre-built one from the download page

From what I've heard, it does not work for non-snapdragon processors, which is why most people are getting black screens

How do I add the controls??
The touch controls are a mod that's enabled through the dev menu
To access the dev menu press the upper left of the screen

Sonic Mania in Mobile Already has two Mods Preinstalled, Pretty sure Mods would work, But we'll have to Figure out the way to put additional mods in

This decomp needs a patch since it's too Unstable and It doesen't make Sense that you need snaodragon phone.

Sadly this didnt come in 2017, i really want play sonic mania in this years. In 2019 i got pc, and i already played it. But that good, because who didnt got pc. Like me 4 years ago - can play it - on android.
