    Charlie,
    Your "Basic" and "Fly Box" books have been a valuable source for me. Thank you very much for taking the time to do the videos and thank you for helping make me a better tier (Lord knows, that's a HUGE challenge.)

    Beautiful job, cogent presentation. Probably the best tier I have ever had the privilege to watch tie a fly.

    "fish eat worms, salmon eggs, and marshmallows... if its just about catching fish, you wouldn't be here on a Saturday.... it's about tying nice flies!" You said it brother! Those 'nice flies' end up being the difference between 1 and 0 on the tough days. Great tying tips, thanks.

    Charlie,
    This is the first time I have ever commented on a RUclips video. I have watched literally hundreds of videos on fly tying. I learned more in the 14 minutes of this video than I have from all others. Thanks for posting this. Any chance you'll be in Bozeman this winter giving any seminars? The Parachute anything has been a constant struggle for me. This has helped me refine my tying.

    • @GeorgeSemel
      @GeorgeSemel 6 лет назад

      # 16 dry fly hook, Grey Goose Biot, Grey Thread 10/0 or 14/0, Grizzly and Brown Necks (Whiting) Superfine Dubbing in Grey. White floating Posting material Same stuff you would tie spinner wings with.
      Pretty standard.
