This was the gig of the festival for me. This footage doesn't come close to the sound and the vibe in that tent. Seen Phoenix lots of times - including twice before on that same stage - and this time was INCREDIBLE... the best.
I wish I could bottle up the energy in that tent, the love from the crowd and the appreciation from the band. Such a wonderful atmosphere, my 4th Glastonbury and I’ve yet to feel anything like it. Not to mention the sound was immaculate. I feel like I had a once in a lifetime spiritual experience that only 300 or so people will ever know of and I’ll never be able to articulate the feelings to anyone else. I’m glad we have the videos at least.
@@damo447I was there also, near the front. It was a perfect end to the festival.
I was there too, won't ever forget it
@@tomv3351 I had the light up sunglasses! It felt like everyone were spartan phoenix warriors with how loud we were all singing. you'd think the tent was packed
I’m exited to get to see them this month!
I heard this song in a store and immediately knew it was them and I was like they’re BAACCCKKKKK!!! Been listening to their old albums even before this single came out. So happy!
Btw those lights are gonna give the audience a seizure 😂 😅
legendary drummer lol
They have my fav album of 2022 with Alpha Zulu without any doubt :)) a little tip: listen to it walking along the coast of the sea, better in the evening, mesmerizing experience :))
The album is quite a gem except for the titlw track, which is pretty awful, but this one is quite a banger.
such impressive vocal control
this song made the beggining of 2023 for me, I'm already nostalgic 😢❤
glasto and phoenix, a perfect pair as always.
I got to see them live at the Red Rocks in Colorado. I've been dying to see them since I found them back in 2011. It was biblical to me. I love Phoenix soo much!!! 22 years old now, drunk on beer and high on cannibis, it was an extremely phenomenal experience. No concert I ever go to will top their performance.
Man i bet that was crazy to see them at red rocks man
@Dukeybookey duuude, it was as I said
B I B L I C A L
Maybe a little exaggerated, but it was just soo phenomenal. Im still dreaming about that night. Japanese Breakfast, Sir Chloe and Beck also played. It can't get better than that IMO.
Wow !!!They are really cool.
This is perfect
Always love phoenix, went to their concert in a small studio, it was amazing and so intimate ❤❤❤
Still using the old cheap yamaha porta-synths, was hoping they did. Love this band.
The pair of drummer and keyboardist ,which I saw ont the video 13 years ago is alive and well. I am happy.
Beautiful love it 💯❤️🔥💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻❤️🔥💕🎵❤️
love it
Magnifique ❤️🔥
Love them ❤❤❤
Love Phoenix ❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤
wow
A Clairo entrance would have brought it down!!!
Hidden Treasure.
I'd have loved to have seen their set. So sad they had to play at the same time as Elton
I went to the pyramid for two songs, then realised what the hell I was doing and ran to Woodsies!
They were also competing with queens of the Stone Age, always sucks when you have to decide between multiple great acts.
oh la la
is there a full set video i can get?
🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Such a shame. No one was there
Same time as Elton and QOTSA, but It's a brilliant set!
Can we acknowledge how amazing Phoenix are, but also that The 1975 ripped them off wholesale and sucked at doing it too?
I wouldn't say it's a rip off... Maybe the first album but the 1975 has a shit ton of different influences
@@proposalsmusic Yeah I know, but every time I check their music, aside from being grossed out by Matty Healy, I just get the urge to listen to Phoenix and Radiohead.
They are a fantastic French cinq, a foursome plus one, but who are the 1975’s?
@@Falxifer95regardless of rip offs or whatever, the 1975 has Matty Healy, I'll take Phoenix any day.
I never really linked Phoenix and The 1975. Phoenix are good and The 1975 is a vanity project for a narcissist who writes songs for teenage girls.
After midnight ? I was expecting a cover of the late great JJ Cale song 😢
