+alphasxsignal congratulations on your new keyboard! I'm getting my Kronos 2 88 keys next week! I'm so excited already! May you have an awesome day Sir! Peace everyone!
Kronos is the best. I've tried them all and keep going back to my Korg Kronos 2 88. Almost bought a Montage but found that Kronos was still better in a lot of ways, though not perfect.
awesome! love it.....thanks for sharing. i've sold my M3 - 61 and the Triton Extreme 76 for a Kronos 2 - 88 - no regrets at all......... the only disadvantage is the motherboard from intel inside. they are not built forever
Got the Kronos v3 recently, very happy with the capabilities! Some of the best features? Smooth sound transitions, which makes performance seamless and natural. Also love the ease of use, I had heard from many that it is difficult to learn to use the Kronos, but found it to be well laid out, and navigation is fairly easy considering the flexibility it has. Having learned on a piano, I find the touch to be really nice, it maintains a solid feel but is still not too heavy so that fatigue becomes a problem. I will say that repetition speed is not quite there, it is difficult to play a single note repeatedly in quick succession without cutting out.
Magnifico sonido Yanni, Korg es único da igual el modelo, Kronos Krome Triton Pa4x etc.. son lo mejor y este Kronos rompe los moldes de la calidad sonora 👍
I love the feel of the keys. It is an overwhelming beast, heavy as hell..but is obviously high quality. You get what you pay for. I could have gotten the Montage, but just wasn't feeling it at all. Right now, it's the best keyboard on the market...(to me).
Two possibly the best keyboards ever: Korg Kronos, and Yamaha Montage. I have them both, and must say, it's quite impossible to but them in order which one is better !!
No una corda pedal support on Montage. No playback past MIDI channel 8 from Cakewalk. Mutually exclusive modes. Wish I had known before I bought it. Now I'm bidding on a Kronos 2.
ano this was a few years ago but wondered if anyone knew the chords for the sections starting at 1 minute and 6.55mins, really good playing DKS. Demonstrated this lovely keyboard well
I want one! Sounds like my Krog Wavestation EX. This synthenzier is a band in a box. Herbie Hancock play the Kronos. Best keyboard synthenzier of all times.
Watching you jam out on this beautiful beast is just as refreshing and exciting as watching Rich Formidoni reveal and demo it, years ago. Such great improv! Also, that pizzicato string patch instantly made me wanna play the 600 A.D. overworld theme from Chrono Trigger, bahaha.
Hey I see that you have owned many keyboards but I never really got any chance to play most of these so if I were to buy a keyboard with the best keybed and tones which one you would suggest ,, 1) Korg pa5x 2) korg krome 3)Yamaha Genos
I just bought the new LS but haven't received it yet. This to replace my OASYS. From listening to this, it doesn't even come close to the OASYS in sound. I hope I can fix my OASYS. I also have a Ketron which has very sweet sounds, as well as Korg PA4X, Korg 2600 plus lots of analog synths. It's all good though.
After playing the Kronos my opinion has changed somewhat. The Kronos piano sounds are very close to Oasys. The combis are similar but the Kronos leads in combi mode work better. I haven’t reviewed the other features. As far as I can tell the oasys can’t be repaired unless you do it yourself. The LS also has a fast keyboard. I really like it
Hi. Great job on playing on this video. One question. What did you run the audio through when you recorded this video ? What did you record the actual keyboard audio into ? was it into a camera or into a DAW mixer ? If it was into a camera, what is the name of the camera and what type of wires were connecting between your keyboard and camera. If you recorded into a DAW, what was the DAW's name and what was your audio interface name. Or did you just record into an SD card in the piano or Flash Drive port on the piano ? I ask because the sound quality on the video is truly professional and unbeatable. Cheers from New York City.
As always I record separate audio and video, and combine audio and video part later with final cut pro x. To record you audio you only need a good audio interface with at least two inputs and a daw ;) after that export a wav file and combine with the video file ;)
@@DKS-SYNTH-LAB Thank you for answering back. But, what I need to know is if you are recording to DAW, do you have any special EQ, Compressor, Limiter, or other plugin to beef up your keyboard audio to make it sound this good and pure or do you just run your live audio from the keyboard as an analog live instrument into your DAW. Or are these sounds Midi with Midi cables. I ask that because there is a way to record analog style using the sounds of the keyboard only and just recording it to DAW which is what I think you did. In that case what plugins from the DAW help your sound or did you not use any plugins at all and it's just the pure sound from the piano itself ?
@ExclusiveLM no extra processing are used on every demo. Synth/keyboard directly connected only via audio into the audio interface. Recorded (at 99% all improvised and recorded in one take) and next exported on wav format for the video editing 😉
Mine isn't reliable. It's failed me couple times in live when using sequencer mode with latest updates. Not gonna use it for backing tracks anylonger. :(
Great!!! Tell me something: how did you sync audio and video? I believe you're using an audio interface, right? Is the video camera capturing audio too in order for you to sync in a specific program? I've been searching for a tutorial on how to record keyboard videos and upload them on youtube, but I can't find! Tks!
Montage, Stage 3, Kronoss 2, RD 2000? I kwon that they all aren't the same kind of keyboards! But you could probably help me! What do you think about the sounds? Especially piano, Ep, and synth sounds! Would you rather have this one or that one? Does somebody can give me your opinion? Have someone tried all of them? What is wrong and what's ok? All of them are expensive! I believe that the Nord is actually the most expensive! Yamaha has the second place and korg the last one! I've seen some reviews, but unfortunately I have never tried anyone!

Lol. Kronos is world class. It's feature variety smokes the competition, which is why it remains the upgrade route of choice for those of us who began on Triton EX. Korg has its own signature, chances are you don't much care for it. Yamaha make great DP's but I can't stand their synth sounds. This is the ultimate band board. No doubt.
Can you tell me what you are using for sound output? What kind of speakers are best to get purest sound? (like when using headphones) Thank you...sounds BEAUTIFUL!
You need to find the best studio monitors for your ears! ;) in this situation, like all others videos, the synth is directly conneted into the audio interface. Find good audio interface and good studio monitors/headphones! ;)
Is that a 61 key? I have a 49 keyboard but I feel like I’ve out grown it. I’m pulling my hair out on whether to get 61, 76, or 88 key. Great demoing by the way. Sounds great!

Every new Korg Instrument has its own soul. But the sounds in the KRONOS are great.
I have had my Kronos 2 for around 6 months and love it.
