1. **Thakur Kushal Singh Champawat of Auwa:** Auwa, a village in Rajasthan, witnessed a 12-day resistance against the British in 1857 led by Thakur Kushal Singh Champawat. The British besieged Auwa fort, destroyed it, and killed Captain Mason. The revolt in this non-descript village added to the broader Indian struggle for independence.
2. **Veer Kunwar Singh of Jagdishpur (Bihar):** Veer Kunwar Singh, a Rajput chieftain in Bihar, posed a significant challenge to British authority. He led a rebellion in 1857, winning a victory near Jagdishpur. Despite being nearly 80 years old, he continued to resist the British through guerrilla warfare until his death, inspiring others to join the fight.
3. **Lal Pratap Singh Bisen of Kalakankar:** Lal Pratap Singh was a prominent leader in the Indian Rebellion of 1857 in the Kalakankar region. He joined the revolt against the British, siding with Begum Hazrat Mahal to reinstate the Nawab of Awadh and overthrow the British. His role in the rebellion and his association with Indian nationalist leaders like Mahatma Gandhi is noteworthy.
4. **Thakur Jodha Singh Ataiya of Rasulpur:** Jodha Singh Ataiya participated in the 1857 rebellion against British rule in India. He was a close associate of Thakur Daryao Singh and led rebel guerrillas in attacks against British troops in the district. He was captured by the British, executed by hanging, and his property confiscated.
5. **Rao Gopal Singh Kharwa:** Rao Gopal Singh of Kharwa, Rajasthan, played a vital role in the freedom struggle. He conspired with other freedom fighters to assassinate the Viceroy, Lord Hardinge, during the Delhi Durbar. Although their attempt failed, it marked his commitment to the cause. Rao Gopal Singh continued his revolutionary activities from Ajmer, even after his release from prison.
6. **Bundela Rebellion of 1842:** The Bundela Rising in 1842 involved the rejection of foreign law by Bundela Thakurs and other dispossessed landlords in Saugor-Nerbudda Territories. The rebellion marked an important anti-colonial effort in the region.
7. **Ram Prasad Singh Tomar (Bismil):** Ram Prasad Bismil was a revolutionary who participated in the Mainpuri Conspiracy of 1918 and the Kakori Conspiracy of 1925. He was sentenced to death for the Kakori train robbery and is remembered for his contribution to the Indian independence movement.
8. **Thakur Mahavir Singh Rathore:** Mahavir Singh Rathore, a member of Naujawan Bharat Sabha, was involved in the escape of Bhagat Singh, Batukeshwar Dutt, and Durga Devi from Mauzang House in Lahore. He was arrested as part of the Second Lahore Conspiracy Case, participated in a hunger strike in 1933, and died in the Cellular Jail in Andaman Nicobar Islands.
9. **Ram Singh Pathania:** Ram Singh Pathania revolted against the British in Himachal Pradesh and played a crucial role in the Indian freedom movement. He was arrested, sent to Kalapani, and ultimately died for the cause.
10. **Rana Beni Madhav Singh of Shankarpur Estate:** Rana Beni Madhav Singh led a revolt against the British in Rae Bareli during 1857-58. His guerrilla group played a significant role in the independence of Lucknow, and he was honored with the title "Dilerjang" by Begum Hazrat Mahal.
11. **600 Bisen Rajputs of Paina Village:** The Bisen Rajputs of Paina Village fought against the British, engaging in daily skirmishes and even drowning British soldiers in the river. Their resistance was remarkable, and their women chose "Jauhar" to protect their honor when they faced defeat.

The khalisatni are mainly gangsters, mostly uneducated bands of petty criminals, and political johnnies who are using the cause as a front to justify crimes such as acts of terrorism, murders, drug dealing, immigration racket, etc. They have no understanding of the concept of Sikhism, the welfare of the people, or governance. It's the biggest fraud in the name of a respectable community identity. Gurus of Sikh wanted the community to be guardians of Hind and these fellows are just the opposite.
