Fisher Flying Products has captured the flying qualities of a number of classic airplanes. We have designed structurally sound and extremely affordable aircraft kits based on these beloved aircraft. The kit designs that we produce have proven aerodynamic stability and desirable flight characteristics.
Fisher Flying products produces components for 14 aircraft designs that pay homage to the fun little aircraft that let us experience low and slow flight. The components are manufactured with care in our new shop in Dorchester, Ontario Canada. We have been modernizing as a company. In an effort to keep our kits affordable to people of modest means, we have purchased CNC equipment that can reproduce parts more accurately and inexpensively. We provide low cost, high quality aircraft kits
From the company’s nest in Dorchester we talk to the world. We have customers in over 30 countries and daily, we field calls and e-mail messages from all over the world. The Fisher name is spoken in many languages and we try to speak back to customers in the language we are contacted in. We want everyone to feel welcome here at Fisher Flying Products.
We are updating the information systems used in the manufacture of the kits so that we are accurate and make fewer mistakes. Mistakes can be most costly when shipping half way around the world. We have started the long process of modernizing our plans and build manuals. This will be an ongoing multi-year project but in the end, we will have digitized the designs and will be able to produce assembly manuals that make it easier to build the aircraft.
The Standard construction kit offers builders the experience of assembling the entire aircraft from pre-cut, shaped and slotted wooden pieces, machined hardware, and formed fiberglass cowling and aluminum fuel tank. Kits come complete with simple instructions and full scale, full size plan sheets. These plan sheets allow the builder to build many components of the aircraft right on top of the plan sheets using only standard household tools.
Standard construction kits can be completed by the average builder in 600-800 hours depending on the model chosen and the ability of the builder.
