I’ve always used Weathertech’s in my vehicles, but I decided to go with the Mopar ones for the Jeep because they had the drain plug, I liked the design, and they were a bit cheaper.

Awesome video so helpful! I am going to go with the WeatherTech to help my new jeep survive this awesome central ohio winter weather I live in. I also subscribed.

Thank you. I couldn’t make up my mind. I’m going with Weathertech mats. It’s now rocket science here. Cut the drain hole out on the Weathertech mat and problem solved.

I had the mopar one the driver side has failed where it clips and lets water down into the carpet. Also its coming apart at the edge. The drain plug doesn't seem like its plugged good very hard to get it plugged.

I have the Mopar, but really don't consider the drain an advantage. Jeepinformant has a video discussing how the plug doesn't seal and allows water to enter from below. People debate if this is user error, but it sure happens a lot. I sealed mine and will eventual change brands.

I went with the Mopar for the seating areas and wearhertec for the cargo area. I know it’s a bit of a pain to get to the underfloor storage with the WT, but I found the mopar cargo mat useless as it only covers the mid section of the cargo area. Personal preference I guess

I went with the tuxmat ones myself, they go all the way up the side to protect everything, they go up under the front seats and under the rears! More coverage then any other mat i could find! been running them about a year now and they rock!

I think they are both decent but in saltier climates I DO NOT want ones with any drain holes. Who wants all the fluids running down in those clips or even worse the mopar drain holes. Isn’t the whole idea is to keep fluids off your floors? I get the drain holes in the body of the floor but not sure I want salt in an area I cant rinse out easily. 🤷🏽‍♂️
