What we will have to do in future and what's going on in the different universities for betterment of our new generations!

As NED VC' said, we have only one export thing which we can do easily is brain drain! I agree with him because we have large source of remittance for bringing dollars in Pakistan. we just need to build trust of overseas for growing remittance.
This is a double edged sword. Remittances only arrive when you have family members living here. Once the entire family immigrates from Pakistan there won't be any remittances. It might not be a problem now but if we don't focus on policies to bring investments back to Pakistan the remittances will stop sooner or later.
Very true stories and facts decoded by Honorable VC not everyone had the audacity to state real facts of today's Pakistani universities and their faculties. The only thing we export is the youth.

now i also have doubts the story Mr.VC was telling of Pakistani to sold something US in billions, if we investigate and go deeper I believe situation will be opposite of what he is feeling proud NED has nothing to do of what that guy achieved.
Great institution of Pakistan in terms of technical education. Still room of improvment needed in terms of faculty members and quality of education. Still top institute of sindh and pakistan!!

Main problem with the education system is the focus on getting more and more marks in exams. To get into NED you need to score more and more and hence the growth of Tution etc. Can a new system of evaluating students be developed?
Unfortunately Sarosh sb is also saying the usual stuff: education system, leadership, tarbiat, bla blah. We need people who are well aware of the past follies and the changing realities of time. Like Shabbar Zaidi.
People are not willing to comeback who left the country. As far as remittances are concerned, people are not sending money to Pakistan also, only labor class and some middle class sending money for expenses only. The main chunk of money is kept out by overseas Pakistanis, rather people have taken/repatriated their money back from Roshan Digital Account as well. Situation is very bad but the Dilemma is that our Academician have no IDEA about it and they are living in their Ideal World.
Great podcast!❤️❤️ I have a question. I've noticed that NED University and Karachi University receive a lot of hype, and their students seem to enjoy a certain level of prestige. As a student of Federal Urdu University, I wonder why my university is not listed among the top choices of big companies. Why don't employers consider my university? What have we done wrong as students? We face severe political clashes in our university, which makes things even harder. Both KU and NED are government universities, just like Federal Urdu University, but why is there such a significant difference in their reputation and industry recognition?
I don't know about KU but I can say that the environment NED provides to its student is way better than any other institute in Sindh. Here, you will not find any political union of students such as PSF, APMSO etc. They are curse and it is the biggest reason why our province universities lacks behind Punjab.
Secondly, NED course content, management, resources are better.

This is coz of their coaching system which is completely disassociated from their government and private based education system/ institutions ….the effort which they spend in grade twelve to pass the entry test is what has made india great in stem….this is only matched by China and other East Asian country, even west has no equivalent to it
There are very less jobs in Pakistan. Pakistan is rub by TEAM B these days. TEAM A is already migrated and are migrating these days on a fast pace.
He expressed the mindset of NED Engineer, he himself didn't see what Engineering universities should deliver to the market..
He spent all his life inside the university boundry wall, which is why he said skills are not necessary 😂😂😂
Honestly this university is run by Kala Angrez.I know NED staff and graduates.Nothing exceptional.Only Classism and trash.
I know Sindh Govt Functionalities and Education Ministry and Schools in detail run by Govt in Sindh. A lot of Ghost Schools are there and Quality of Teachers are worst. VC statement is fullish about Govt Schools in Sindh that these Schools are comparable with Private Schools. VC HAVE UTTERED JOKE OF THE CENTURY.

As VC mentioned that at ninetees due to unavailability of engineering universities at Balochistan,Baloch and Pashtoon students came at NED to study. But now still we don't have any prestigious engineering institution in our province,so why there are only four seats available for Balochistan students? I think NED should grant many seats to Balochistan's students.

In USA I have seen myself that that society is skill based already. VC is so ignorant that he studied in USA and he dont know about this fact 😇 that in USA more than 50% jobs these days are skill based and I have personally visited the whole USA in all states and witnessed it myself many times.
Degree is very important let me give you an perfect example in Saudi Arabia they have created the Certification bodies for Engineering,Accounting & Medical Professions. if you want to practice in Saudi Arabia you have to registered with relevant body with a degree. if you have no degree you will be rejected on the Spot.
The VC seems to be Tout of Sindh Government.

DOW and other medical institute produce doctors, IBA produce management experts that we can see in market. where are the engineers ???? they graduated from NED and start hunting white collar JOB because they spend 4 years by reading books no hands on experience and like NED boss said skill = labor (so they avoided being a labor instead of learning practical things which is the core area of any engineer) i saw 90% engineers to feel just proud of NEDIAN but what they deliver as engineer ZERO.

@@JKCollections Let me tell you and others one more thing. I'm currently in third year in NED University. All the labs he is talking about have many ongoing projects, but there are zero involvement from students due to the hectic time tables. I'm very active in societies, but he and the administration didn't give us the permission to conduct a Debating Competition. The administration and teachers of NED University is not supportive at all when it comes to co-curricular activities.

But you refine your skill through knowledge and knowledge is here to change, so does your skill increamently
Skill jump starts your career, knowledge leaps your career 5x, 10x, 50x etc. Both are mandatory.
