Wow! This is great, I’ve got a Roland FA06 and this is how I build up songs on a loop then copy & paste removing & adding tracks. Good to see someone using it rather than just playing demo sounds
Absolutely agree with some comments here. I've been searching for demos of this kind for weeks, but all I could ever find were people who prefer to talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk......play a bit, then......talk and talk and talk and talk and talk. So frustrating! Thanks for this!
Very nice! BUT where is the break. I love the break it is one of my favourites and I missed it! It is the bit where all instruments play as rhythm in unison. I also was curious how you would it on the workstation. Like maybe using keyboard switch get l group maybe... You know what I mean, right?
i FUCKING LOVE THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OYE COMO VA, MI RITMO, BUENO 'PA GOZAR! MULATA! == in Spanish == LISTEN HOW IT GOES, MY RHYTHM, SO GOOD TO ENJOY! MULATA! (Mulata: Dark Skin Cinnamon Hot Mamma!!!) Ajuuuua!!!!! make another!!!
You are very talented. This is a great video. I never know the FA could do so much. And I have been using it for a year. Thanks for the motivational post.
I was watching some demos on this Roland FA and fell asleep on the computer with my headphones on (probably got bored with all the bullshit these demo guys do like.. All the time!!!) and suddenly, I started dreaming I was at a Ballroom dance contest doing all these Super Funky Fancy Moves! (I'm a Latin Jazz percussionist and I used to teach Salsa & Cha-Cha classes, Won a few Latin dance contests back in '91 & 92') the funny part is that in my dream, I was showing off Cha-Cha moves as if floating on mid- Air on the Tip of My Shiny Stacy Adams Shoes, Sliding Moonwalk fashion just like Michael Jackson All across the dance Floor!!! When I started to wake up slowly with this stupid big wide smile on my face and realized... Shit... No wonder... I was listening to this Crazy guy perform the famous Tito Puente, "Oye como va" (which means; "Listen How It Goes") Mutherfucker!!! How Dare you wake me up from the nicest dream I've had in Years!!! This video demo is only 05:00 Long... Why couldn't you keep playing for another 10:00 More!? You fucking Delicious, Funky Player Demo Guy you.. You!! Damn! (I Agree with anyone here... been watching these videos for weeks or months and this is the first time I've seen anything of this sort...) Finally someone doing something fun and exciting with a keyboard worth watching... And this guy isn't even Hispanic? Shame on the Latino musicians put to shame by a Lain music enthusiast... & He does it better than most I've heard, Just amazing!! There should be not one... many demo musicians doing this type of Recording sequence music online with the boards they demo instead of doing the same bullshit they ALL DO with gibberish scales that no one cares about and just do a song, like this or like so many classics (Not today's music, please...) and showing the audience and wannabe buyers what you can do w/ a synth & showing us how! That would sell them fast!!! You Cool Dude on the Video, please keep Doing it...!!!
alphasxsignal YES YOU CAN!! I love my Roland FA08. It is so attractive, and you can do so much with this thing. I’ve had my Roland FA08 for almost a year and I haven’t fully figured that thing out. It’s sleek, and sexy. Don’t be fooled by how it looks on your TV, or your smartphone. This thing will catch your eyes if you saw it in real life. If you were in a room with 20 different Mid level Workstations, this one would get your attention because of how attractive it is. And don’t even get me started on the Sounds!!!
I have an fa-06 but I have not figured out how to do this. waaaaaaaaaaaah!!!! Too lazy to read the manual. Do you have a video showing how you did all this? :)
search Roland FA sequencer on RUclips. Hit record button, play instrument, change instrument, play next instrument. etc.. You can pick any instrument, and some customizations about tempo, measures, optional auto corrections (quantizer). And more things to know about undo, erase, copy..

GREETING, Gergő! Tell me, please: on the video do you use a vocoder with Roland FA-06 or is it another separate vocoder?

Specs say up to 16 tracks of the chosen 16 instruments with up to 128 polyphony overall simultaneously played.
I'm agree with Alexander ... But you can also add 64 samples pre-recorded ...
That's insane
