Greetings, in the video I saw that it does not have the ability to unlock Geo zones, but if you could be so kind as to answer my question, there are no Geo zones in the Specta application.
There _are_ geozones built in to the software. When they pop up and shows the "unlock before you can fly" option, you do not have the ability to unlock it. They (Cogito support) keep saying "soon" but it hasn't happened in the last 6 months, so who knows when or if it will happen. I flew the mini a few times on purpose in class D airspace, the prompt popped up, and after clicking around a bit I was able to cancel the prompt and fly anyway, (see that in this video here: ruclips.net/video/MMlMLeuluAs/видео.html ) so it has not stopped me, but some others have reported that they could not do this and were prohibited from flying with no way to unlock it. Were they dipsticks and just couldn't figure out how to cancel it? Not sure, but Cogito has not kept their promise to add the ability to unlock geozones properly yet which is a problem regardless... Hope this helps.
@@AlienDrones Very grateful for your comment and of course it did help me because with someone who does not fulfill what they offer their clients you really cannot do business or you cannot make the investment, not only with that of the geozones but also with the availability of the batteries, there is still no battery availability and it has been more than 6 months since they offered to solve that in a month.

Have to have parts, service and accessibility to support and they need to do it soon or it will be a missed opportunity for sure. Maybe it's simply too early and they will be on top of it soon but you don't get a second chance to make a first impression.
Once you get your subject centered you simultaneously move the the left and right stick "Yaw' and "Roll" to keep your subject in the center while rotating around it. It takes some practice to keep it smooth and keep the subject centered for a full orbit. In general the sticks are one of the two movements, either left and right sticks "in" o>

@@Dronyankyvictor No worries. Indeed, the batteries show available on amazon amzn.to/3VRkvC0 but I ordered one 3 times and all 3 times they sent me a Specta Mini battery that I had to send back to Amazon, then one time they refused my refund even though I didn't even open the box. Thankfully Amazon reviewed it and refunded me anyway. If they ever get their stuff together it will be great because it is a good drone, but until then it's a pass... 🤙
@@AlienDrones a million thanks for sharing your experience and I think the same as you, without a doubt it is a good team but if there is no support and there is no guarantee that it does not have a Geo zone, for me it has no interest. I need to do functions and missions on the edge of airports and dji gives me many problems, even if it has the government authorization to be able to make the flight, it does not do it at the moment, sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes yes, it releases the zone, sometimes no, so it is very complicated and really with autel I never have those problems, even fimi, once again, thank you for taking the time to answer me and guide me.
How is it so far. Any firmware updates yet.
It flies great and there are batteries available on Amazon now, though I ordered a spare for the Air and received batteries for the Mini 3 times. Maybe they have it sorted by now, I kinda got worn out trying after 3 wrong orders. I was JUST contacted by Cogito and they said they have a major firmware update coming out that will address the geozones and more in the next couple of weeks that they asked if I'd try out, so I will publish that on the channel for sure. 🤙
@@AlienDrones awesome to hear about the firmware update look forward to it. Yeah that is what I have heard about the batteries that’s been a big reason I have pulled the trigger yet.
I would gladly sell my air-3 for this one, IF they offered an HDMI out port for fpv goggles. That is the one thing I miss about my P4 pro plus drone.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a DJI duck😂
Don't ducks go in the water? 🐟💦
I’m convinced it’s a rebadged DJI air 3. There are photos of the circuit board on the internet. I’m just curious as to what DJIs plan is. 🤔🤔🤔
Well, I'm gonna assume that With the DJI drone band actually moving along a worrying amount. They set up a front company in Hong Kong, which the US recognizes as an ally, so just a way to move around.
The FEDS will not like this 😂😂😂 it's a DJI. Do they think we are STUPID 😂😂😂 Good video !
Look at they way American has been run for the last 3 years, and you get the answer to your question.
Be a DJI without telling me you are a DJI! 😂
Great review. Does it have 10 bit log footage?
It’s nice, but lack of info on their own website and the Geo Fencing that can’t be unlocked makes it a non-starter for me.
It does look and apparently flies like a DJI, but lacks the DJI after sale support. Again that’s a huge red flag for me.
Have to have parts, service and accessibility to support and they need to do it soon or it will be a missed opportunity for sure. Maybe it's simply too early and they will be on top of it soon but you don't get a second chance to make a first impression.
How do you do manual Orbit?
Once you get your subject centered you simultaneously move the the left and right stick "Yaw' and "Roll" to keep your subject in the center while rotating around it. It takes some practice to keep it smooth and keep the subject centered for a full orbit. In general the sticks are one of the two movements, either left and right sticks "in" o>
So this one has also Video Transmission System O4 ? 🤔
appears to be exact same protocol.
This would have turned my head a little more if the ISO was somewhat variable… THAT would seal a deal for me.
The ISO is fully adjustable.
No surprises given it's a cloned DJI Air 3 to avoid the USA ban
Indeed, that was a good but arrogant thought from DJI, but it made things worse. ALL Chinese based drones/drone parts regardless of the name are now on the list to be banned from import to the US... Thanks DJI.
Was the drone footage unedited ?
Straight out of the camera in auto, no filters, no post processing done.
You’re being lied to. This is 100% a dji drone. They’d be the first to sue and we’d all be hearing about it. The app even reports to dji servers!
100000000%
They did work with dji in the design of the products and now gone to make a name for themselves
Yes, please do a more in depth tutorial.
Where can you buy this?
amzn.to/4a5oL5V
i think a dji employee made new company,, hehehe
Hadn't thought about a DJI employee (someone with all the drawings and programs), that would be something for sure... 😎
It looks just like a DJI
Create a Day Nite camera system.
This dude loves being on tv look at me over here look mom look at me I'm on tv I hope they never fix the bridge so I can be on tv every day
If it looks like a duck, if it walks like a duck, if it sounds like a duck........ than it's not a goose.🦆
If it's a cloned duck is it still a duck with a different name? 🦆🦆🤔
i am very sure, that this is a DJI Air 3. Even their controller and it's software looks exactly the same
for that price ill just buy a dji
Only 1 battery ?
Agreed, not sure why companies do this. My guess is to get the entry price as low as possible, but I need a case/bag, multiple batteries and a charger bare minimum...
Is it cheaper?
Clearly a paid advertisement
I had to pay for it by donating my liver, but good news is it should grow back. Then I'll be able to get the next model.
Fimi x8 mini pro v 2 review's you have any??
None of the mini, only the X8pro...
@@AlienDrones no problem thanks keep on flying my friend good stuff 🤠
The internal parts are 100% DJI electronics. Open it up and tell me if it has a P1 chip. DJI needs to move to Mexico and build everything there
geo fencing .... no way thank you . i'll stay with my autels . i never had a problem with them.
Those replies were the same as spit in my face and tell me it was raining.
Now I don't know how copyright laws run in those countries, but I do know if you do what they SAY they are doing here in the US, that would be a big no-no.
That's gross! 😷
Please do a more detailed review.
Dji drone should never be banned in the USA just because it comes from china.
We live in a free enterprise economy competing with any nation in the world.
DJI is like having a iPhone in the USA
Compare it to The Air 3.
It needs to be done.
Have you noticed a photo or video quality between the Specta and Air 3?
The image quality is IDENTICAL. They are the same camera/hardware. Different firmware...
Even same dji voice lol
